Qt Core: Me too (could not bring myself to ignore Italy debut at the world cup, and just come back from a (human powered) bike wandering

Qt Core: i think i slept for about 4 hours, will have to nap in the afternoon, well one have to do what one have to do ;-)

Wol Euler: I've played games until dawn on too many occasions to judge watching one's national team after midnight :)
Qt Core: i had two epiphanies (or re-epiphanies) during my wandering: 1) i hate the pavé we have in city center (where i live) and 2) flat-lands don't really exists

Wol Euler: there's always some slight slope, yes
Qt Core: once on football mode this past night i was up, ok, lying in my bed listening to Cote d'ivoire - Japan on radio
Qt Core: (it started at 3am
Qt Core: had the strength to shut the rasio at halftime
Wol Euler: O.O
Wol Euler: you must be a real fan, then ...
Qt Core: no, a lot less than the average italian
Wol Euler: do you think the majority watched Cote d'Ivoire/Japan too?
Qt Core: in a sad curious mode i'd like to know the statistics of car accidents in next weeks
Qt Core: no, (especially as that match was only avaiable on pay-tv), but i listened to it while reading in bed
Wol Euler: you may be right, with so many people suddenly sleep-deprived and distracted
Qt Core: a little too excited to start sleeping immediatly after the Italy match
Qt Core: that could be especially true on next italy match, starting at 6pm, when most are driving home after work
Qt Core: not sleep deprived but surely distracted
Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: back in a sec, coffee is ready

Wol Euler: It#s a lovely day here, cool and sunny. Reminds me of summer mornings on the Prairies with relatives
Wol Euler: but without the bacon and eggs.

Qt Core: cloudy with streak of sun, after some thunderstorm in the evening and night here, way colder than a couple days ago
Wol Euler: ... which is a good thing! at least for me :)
Qt Core: (yes, especially whenm the AC at the office is misbehaving...
Wol Euler: or when there is none at all and it#s a fifteen minute uphill walk to get there
Qt Core: that too
Wol Euler: if I were to win the lottery, I'd move out to Saskatchewan and build a house on a particular field I know, and enjoy the cool summers and bracing winters.
Qt Core: would it be the sane with an house built in it ?
Wol Euler: no, but it would be more comfortable :)
Qt Core: (i always thought about the house i'd like, never really about wher it would be built)
Wol Euler: and it's a big field, and it owuld be a small house
Wol Euler: this one is above (well above!) a bend in a river, so it has a 180° view of the river valley
Qt Core: Mosquitoes ?

Wol Euler: yes, but they are everywhere in Saskatchewan, not just by the rivers
Wol Euler: so not a criterion
Qt Core: at some point i ever thought about starting building it in SL but then laziness won

Qt Core: i just got back my sister after a week of sea, first time ever i missed her whan she was away
Wol Euler: awwwww :)
Wol Euler: was she on a cruise?
Qt Core: no, just at the sea near the sea vacation capital of Italy; Rimini
Wol Euler: oh, I see, I thought you meant on a boat!
Wol Euler: I've been to Rimini, many years ago, I thought it was pretty but very dull
Wol Euler: but I think that of all beach places, so ... :)
Qt Core: it depend on when you where there and if you like crowded beach in the day and annoying discos in the night

Qt Core: just a few km north or south the average age is much higher and lower (ie kids and their grandparents), quieter but even duller
Qt Core: (but my idea of a rea vacation is quite dull, the difference from a vacation and a trip i may say)

Qt Core: 12 hours ago there was a couple couches and a couple chairs too
Wol Euler: not I, I don't have the authority to do that. Either Storm did it, or San took her stuff back
Qt Core: ok, i need to go and see if i can make my day more complicated (too easy and quiet so far)
