    Wol Euler: nabend, yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey wol

    Wol Euler: hello zen
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey zenji
    Zen Arado: Hi Wol, Yaku
    Zen Arado: how's things?
Yakuzza Lethecus: fine so far, quiet silent friday
Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name is "Bruce".
Yakuzza Lethecus: england can go home in soccer :P
    Zen Arado: Hi Bruce :)
    Zen Arado: yeh RIP England
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi!
Yakuzza Lethecus: <- no i am not really interested in soccer :)
    Zen Arado: :(
    Wol Euler: heheheh
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey bruce, but when underdogs like costa rica win i got to smile
Zen Arado: Italy were suppoed to beat Costa Rica
    Wol Euler: yup
Wol Euler: which just makes me ask what "supposed to" means
Zen Arado: yeh lots of surprises
    Wol Euler nods.
Zen Arado: Spain laste year;s winners gone home
Wol Euler: I don't really care about it or follow it, but I'd be pleased to see an "outsider vs. outsider" final
    Zen Arado: could be Germany
Bruce Mowbray is grateful that this is a "futbol" tournament and not a FOOTBALL tournament (like America's Superbowl.)
Wol Euler: not exactly an outsider :)
    Wol Euler: hello bruce
Zen Arado: USA are in it though
Wol Euler: for now ... :)
    Zen Arado: still?
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello!
Bruce Mowbray: but Amerikanz call it "soccer."
Zen Arado: probably not much excitement about it in USA?
    Zen Arado: a minority sport
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: noticed your piece about lottery tickets Wol
    Zen Arado: interesting theory
Zen Arado: I see people scratching those little cards outside local supermarket
    Wol Euler smiles.
Zen Arado: I think it's about adding a little excitement to their lives
Wol Euler: that too, yes, a little bit of a thrill
Wol Euler: and cheap at the price
Zen Arado: and thinking winning a lot of money would guarantee happiness as you suggested I think
Wol Euler: well, that#s a different matter
Yakuzza Lethecus: well u can buy a coffee in a cafe and for the same price u get a pound of coffee, it´s not just the product
Wol Euler: the sad fact is that most lottery winners' lives are not lastingly improved by their win
    Wol Euler: (studies show)
Wol Euler: the happiness wears off, and all too often the money is quickly spent
Zen Arado: think i ead a counter survey showing that they don't all come to grief
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s midsommar today and evelyn had to buy lotteries, 8 pieces for 2 kronor and actually we won a little teddy
Zen Arado: like many seem to find consolation from
Wol Euler: not all, of course not :) but enough that one might well be concerned
    Wol Euler: oh yay :)
Wol Euler: that's a worthwihle prize
    Wol Euler smiles.
Zen Arado: yay I had to buy mine
    Zen Arado: :)
Zen Arado: when I lived in Sydney all the firms ran Opera House Lottery and we all bought tickets
Wol Euler: prize being tickets, I guess?
Zen Arado: so I like to think I helped to finance Sydney Opera House :)
Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name is "Bruce".
Zen Arado: I foeget what the prizes were
    Zen Arado: wb Bruce
    Wol Euler: wb
    Yakuzza Lethecus: wb bruce
Zen Arado: I better get to PP
Yakuzza Lethecus: and bye yen ?
    Wol Euler nods.
    Wol Euler: see you later
    Bruce Mowbray: ty.
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye zen
    Zen Arado: kk byee all
Bruce Mowbray: Muchos problemas con internet connectiones, este dia.
    Bruce Mowbray: Bye Zen.
    Wol Euler: ah boo
    Bruce Mowbray: BOO and HISS!
    Wol Euler: but: http://beautifuldecay.com/wp-content...otography4.jpg
Wol Euler: number five gets a special commendation for being a smartarse :)
Wol Euler: and off he goes. Sigh.
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus smiles about ur little cure reindeer shirt
    Yakuzza Lethecus: cute
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Wol Euler: thanks
Wol Euler: the maker is a geeky japanese friend of mine, I keep telling her to put it on the marketplace
Yakuzza Lethecus: fael really did delete his accounts ?
    Wol Euler: apparently
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello prosper
    Prosper Telling: Hello
    Wol Euler: hiya
Yakuzza Lethecus: have you been here before ?
Prosper Telling: Not in literal years.
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: well, we haven't changed much
Prosper Telling: Nice to be back though.
Yakuzza Lethecus: ah but years ago we have been logging already ?
Prosper Telling: I was active in about 2008.
Yakuzza Lethecus: we haven´t had a special subject so far today
Yakuzza Lethecus: a little soccer, a little midsommar
    Yakuzza Lethecus: lotterys
    Wol Euler smiles.
Prosper Telling: Nice to see you are still active. I will check back in when I have more time.
    --BELL--
    Wol Euler: take care, prosper
Wol Euler: damn, I should have said "live long and, prosper"
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye prosper:)
Yakuzza Lethecus: gosh i just wanted to write the smile but still had the text in the line
    Wol Euler smiles.
Yakuzza Lethecus: what do you think about the needle´s in china ?
Wol Euler: I don't know anything about that, which needles?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: the planed towers
Wol Euler: well, I don't now. I'll have to look it up
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://www.spiegel.de/reise/aktuell/...-a-976145.html
Wol Euler: fascinating. Ugly as sin, IMHO, but that's always debatable
Wol Euler: I do wonder where they plan to get the seawater for the towers to refine
Wol Euler: since Wuhan is well inland
Wol Euler: perhaps that bit was badly translated
Wol Euler: oops, my mistake. Lake water
Yakuzza Lethecus: well i just read it and thought it might be interesting
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think if in germany such projects are at all realizable
    Yakuzza Lethecus: *i wonder
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :P
    Wol Euler: good question
Wol Euler: I think there would be serious opposition from many parties
Yakuzza Lethecus: and if everyone agrees someone will spot a fieldhamster :)
    Wol Euler: yep
    --BELL--
Wol Euler: if I read it rightly, the towers are basically hollow, the accomodation is all in the suspended balls and the base
Yakuzza Lethecus: the drawings are still very abstract
    Wol Euler nods.
Yakuzza Lethecus: those vertical garden concepts might be nice
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: the project seems to be a few orders of magnitude bigger than anyhting the architects have built to date
Yakuzza Lethecus: i will log out now, have a good weekend and fun at zen´s session
Wol Euler: thank you, zen, enjoy the weekend
Wol Euler: and big hugs to the family!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: i will :)
