    Wol Euler: buongiorno, Qt
    Qt Core: Hi Wol
    Wol Euler: how's the family?
    Qt Core: strangely good
    Wol Euler: heheheheheh
Wol Euler: enjoy it while it lasts, I guess
Qt Core: had a good session with my sister dietologist and then brought her to so some shopping as it is sales time here
    Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: she had a blast and keep reminding me a famous italian movie quote "E io pago!" (And i'm paying) ;-)
    Wol Euler: good :)
Qt Core: if drm allows... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8JdwcDkwlI
    Wol Euler looks
    Wol Euler: hehehehhe
Qt Core: one of if not the greatest comedy actor from italy, called The Prince... and with some reason as he was (or pretended to be) a prince from the bizantine empire
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: so long ago ... who knows who wasn't related to aristocracy via the back stairs
Wol Euler: it's an open secret that the masters used them as well as the servants

    --BELL--

    Qt Core: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tot%C3%B2
    Qt Core: ;-)
Wol Euler: how does he look to an Italian? To me, knowing mostly English faces, he looks aristocratic
Qt Core: i'm most used to his older faces and i'm quite surprised by its younger one (and yes he has an almost aristocratic feeling, especially the younger one)
Qt Core: with a chin that could break iron ;-)
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: the uppermost photo of him looks a lot like Mussolini
    Wol Euler: surely not accidental
Wol Euler: (perhaps "reminds me of" rather than looks like)
Qt Core: he was so famous that many af his movies are titled Toto' and....
Qt Core: yes, it is a classic/noble pose, so it is incidental
Qt Core: and both had strong chin, mussolini was wider
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: he reluctantly was the first actor using a swearword in italian movies... "culo" (ass)
Qt Core: in a famous almost antimilitaristic (or better in a "noble" militaristic way) scene
    Wol Euler grins.
Qt Core: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwIzOSCcYEY (with subtitles too
    Wol Euler cheers!
Wol Euler: in truth they probably courtmartialled and shot him later
Qt Core: i always got goosebumps when i see that

    --BELL--

Qt Core: yes, but it still was a comedy so probably not (don't remember the full movie)
Wol Euler: sure, that wouldn't have been in the film :)=
    Agatha Macbeth: Good moaning
    Qt Core: hi Aga
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
    Wol Euler: hello, what's cooking?
Agatha Macbeth: My coffee right now
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: Sargeant Pepper still going strong then?
Qt Core: and yes he was an illegitimate child born named Antonio Clemente then in its quest he was able to be recognized and his full name become: Antonio Griffo Focas Flavio Ducas Komnenos Gagliardi de Curtis of Byzantium, His Imperial Highness, Palatine Count, Knight of the Holy Roman Empire, Exarch of Ravenna, Duke of Macedonia and Illyria, Prince of Constantinople, Cilicia, Thessaly, Pontus, Moldavia, Dardania, Peloponnesus, Count of Cyprus and Epirus, Count and Duke of Drivasto and Durazzo
    Wol Euler: heheh
    Agatha Macbeth: Who Sergeant peeper?
    Agatha Macbeth: Peeper?
    Agatha Macbeth: Pepper
Wol Euler: we're talking about an Italian interwar actor known as Totò
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
    Qt Core: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tot%C3%B2
Agatha Macbeth: Not a dog I presume?
    Wol Euler: indeeed
    Qt Core: no :-)

Qt Core: as most morning i went in search of my daily Dilbert strip but ended up reading about the bombing of italian consulate in Cairo...
    Wol Euler: O.O
Wol Euler: I hadn't heard about that
Qt Core: it happened let sey less than 3 hour ago
Qt Core: 1 dead 4 injured at the moment
    Wol Euler: wow
Agatha Macbeth: What has Italy done to uspset them?
Qt Core: well if it is ISIS related we are breathing
Agatha Macbeth: Thought they were only in Syria and Iraq?
Qt Core: directly maybe, but groups inspired by their ideals are in most nortg africa
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
    Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Still don't see why they picked on the Italians
Agatha Macbeth: Even terrorists usually have reasons
Qt Core: we are allied to the USA and we host the Holy See
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, right

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: Still doesn't seem like a reason to blow anybody up
Wol Euler: the report I read suggests that they might not have done as such, the consulate sits on a busy intersection
    Wol Euler: http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/0...044136623.html
Qt Core: and then whoever claims it how to be sure ?
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Qt Core: should terrorists leave pgp signed business card ? (sorry for the black humor)
    Wol Euler: heheh
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: 'Bombers Inc. wish you a really good day'
    Wol Euler: ha
Agatha Macbeth: Don't forget to visit our website and like us on FB
Qt Core: and apply for as temporary job to, we'll have a blast with you
    Agatha Macbeth: >.<
    Wol Euler: but only once
Wol Euler: funny that nobody thinks to ask the mullahs "If being a suicide bomber is such a good thing, why don't you do it yourself?"
Agatha Macbeth: Quite a Kafkaesque notion that: getting spammed by the Taliban
Qt Core: Did you eard of the Hacking Team news ? http://english.alarabiya.net/en/medi...-medicine.html
Qt Core: an italian spyware producer being haked and lost 400Gb of sensitive data
Wol Euler: I hope they were hacked by the police and that they'll be shut down and jailed
Qt Core: they make spy software for governments, not plain spyware, the one used by NSA and such
    Wol Euler: ah
Wol Euler: I always assumed that the NSA made its own
Qt Core: but the data stole show they sell (but not officially supported) even stated for wich there is a legal ban, like Sudan
    Agatha Macbeth: No porn then?
Qt Core: that too, in their files they found immense lists of porn links it seems they used them to put them on pc of people they wanted to incriminate / blackmail
    Wol Euler: ha
Agatha Macbeth: Every cloud has a silver lining it seems
Wol Euler: depends on what kind of porn it was
Wol Euler: it's not created equal :)
Qt Core: in the lost data it seems there were also the keys to use their already installed software, the firm declared yesterday the lost controls of their installations
Agatha Macbeth: Well it's certainly a whole lot funnier than bombing that's for sure

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Kinda techno-bombing
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: Actually why blow people up when you can just hack them
Qt Core: it seems italy would be better if keeping to its traditional exports: fashion, Grana Padano and Ferrari ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: True
    Agatha Macbeth: And lasagna
Agatha Macbeth: And not forgetting the wine naturally
Wol Euler: mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, that lovely red wine
    Agatha Macbeth: Mmmmmmmmmmm
Qt Core: i even like to listen to a state run radio program about food and wine (most about wine) for the cultural aspects of wine even if i still stronly dislike to drink it
    Agatha Macbeth: Now that's interesting
Qt Core: it's title is simply: Decanter
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Agatha Macbeth: Works...
Qt Core: the history of the wine, the vineyards, the producers, how to combine food and wine all with a light touch from an almost comedy duo
    Agatha Macbeth: Not Toto?
    Wol Euler: not even Dorothy
Qt Core: he is long dead
    Agatha Macbeth: 1967?
Agatha Macbeth: Same year as Spencer Tracy

Wol Euler: funny that you would happen to know that
Wol Euler has a deficient celebrity-appreciation gland
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I actually remember reading about it in one of mother's magazines
    Wol Euler: ah
Agatha Macbeth: About him and KH
Agatha Macbeth: Apparently it was a major secret to most people
    Wol Euler: O.O
Wol Euler: only to the deaf and blind, surely?
    Agatha Macbeth: Well, apparently not
    Wol Euler: wow
Agatha Macbeth: Which for Hollywood is pretty amazing
Agatha Macbeth: Being Catholic, he wouldn't divorce his wife
Qt Core: and my mind goes straight to one of my all time favorite movie Guess who's coming to dinner ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: I have a book about it by Garson Kanin
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes!
    Wol Euler: ah
Agatha Macbeth: Think that was his last film
    Qt Core: yes it was
Qt Core: one of those movie i can't stop to watch every time i stumble on them
Agatha Macbeth: Booze killed him of course
Wol Euler: I can't remember whether we even see the daughter in that film, I can only remember Poitier and the two of them
Qt Core: yes, and the bishow and the maid
    Agatha Macbeth: Good old Sid
    Qt Core: *bishop
Wol Euler: ah, thanks. I guess I have to watch it again
Qt Core: would a remake have an alien as the fiance ?

    --BELL--

    Wol Euler laughs.
    Agatha Macbeth: Nanu nanu
    Wol Euler: or a muslim
Wol Euler: that would be truly shocking and controversial
Qt Core: i think a remake with colours inverted was already made
Agatha Macbeth: 'Nice to meet you Mr Icke'
Qt Core: a story about the marriage of Sarek of Vulcan and Amanda of Earth struggle ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Nice ears...
    Agatha Macbeth: Illogical
Qt Core: thinking about Amanda name meaning make me laugh (it is from latin and it means something like "the one that has to be loved")
    Qt Core: by a Vulcan...
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
Agatha Macbeth: Would have been better off with T'pau or whatever her name was
Agatha Macbeth: "Leev lorng and prawsper Spork"
Agatha Macbeth: Loved the way she kept calling him Spork
Qt Core: right name but a couple generations older and some kind of aunt too...
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Qt Core: i feel nerdy now
    Wol Euler grins.
    Agatha Macbeth: Nerdy rocks
Wol Euler: our work here is done.
    Agatha Macbeth: Working?
Qt Core: (looking at a few dozen trek book residing in a couple meters radius from my current position)
Agatha Macbeth: If so, my condolences
    Agatha Macbeth nods @ QT
Wol Euler: only a few dozen? I'm sitting next to a full wall of bookshelves, which has overflowed to the floor and one of my desks
Agatha Macbeth: So many books here dunno what half of them are
Qt Core: the others have their own room ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Qt's library
    Wol Euler: :)
Qt Core: my "private" one has only sf and fantasy
    Agatha Macbeth: Works for me
    Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: and now i have to go outside... after all we have only 29C today (and not so much humidity) we had 34 and high humidity a couple days ago
    Wol Euler: lovely
    Agatha Macbeth: >.<
Wol Euler: it's much cooler here too, the last few days
Agatha Macbeth: Move to the Alps ;)
Wol Euler: I have to do the shopping etc as well
    Agatha Macbeth: Especially etc

Qt Core: sadly to go down to that we had a tornado in Veneto with at least one dead and some '700 building destroyed
    Agatha Macbeth: Erk
    Wol Euler: O.O
Qt Core: some 250 kmh winds there are some scary youtube videos abou tthat
    Wol Euler: wow
Wol Euler: I come increasingly to the conclusion that climate change deniers are deliberate and intentional liars, bribed to spread misinformation
    Qt Core: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igj7t5wBJZM
Wol Euler: anyone with one eye must know that the climate is changing
Agatha Macbeth: I wouldn't dispute that
Qt Core: they say the same without the deniers word, obviously ;-)
Wol Euler: because we have physical evidence on our side. Right.
Qt Core: (in the video you ear some authentic Venetian accent too ;-)

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
Qt Core: ok, i reallyneed to go, bye
    Wol Euler: me too
    Agatha Macbeth: Ciao Qt
Wol Euler: bye qt, enjoy the weekend
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Wollie
    Agatha Macbeth: Onward...
    Qt Core: i'll try... :-)
