    Adams Rubble: Hello Eos :)
    Eos Amaterasu: HI Adams!
Eos Amaterasu: Into the frying pan :-)
Adams Rubble: I see we are working on our Zorastrian roots
    Eos Amaterasu: How so?
    Adams Rubble: the fire pit
Eos Amaterasu: Zoroastrians used fire pits how?
Adams Rubble: I don't think we have ever discussed Zorastrianism is PaB
    Eos Amaterasu: A first!
    Eos Amaterasu: Star of Zorro?
    Adams Rubble: purification
Adams Rubble: water and fire are agents of purification
Eos Amaterasu: fire widely used for purification, like in Fire Pujas
Adams Rubble: they usually pray in the presence of fire
Eos Amaterasu: Heraclitus: the world is an ever living flame
Adams Rubble: I forgot about the Hindu use
    Eos Amaterasu: also Tantric Buddhism
Adams Rubble: I do not know about its use in tantric Buddhism
Adams Rubble: How is it used?
Eos Amaterasu: Often done at the end of completing a practice cycle
    Eos Amaterasu: reference Agni Deva
    Eos Amaterasu: god of fire
    Adams Rubble Googles
Eos Amaterasu: then there's also the idea of fiery flames of compassion
Eos Amaterasu: often seen around Tibetan Buddhist deities
Eos Amaterasu: no tolerance for self-deception
Adams Rubble: this is getting very complicated very quickly :)
Eos Amaterasu: in presence of centerless openness
Eos Amaterasu: your desperate moves become obvious
Eos Amaterasu: but allowed to wriggle around in open space
Adams Rubble desperately reads through articles
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: I see the Shingon Buddhists have a fire ritual
    Eos Amaterasu: Vajrayana Buddists, yes
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: and I always associated fire with Zorastrianism
Adams Rubble: of course there are the hell fires too; I expect that is related to purification
    Adams Rubble: in a way
Eos Amaterasu: Sure looks like a Death Star out on the edges of our solar system, doesn't it?
    Adams Rubble: ???
    Eos Amaterasu: Pluto
Adams Rubble: death star--have I missed something?
Eos Amaterasu: recent images of Pluto from fly-by ...looks a lot like the Death Star in Star Wars
Adams Rubble: ahhh, I am not that familiar with Star wars imagery
    --BELL--
Eos Amaterasu: More water-related day here - rainy
    Eos Amaterasu: view of harbour
Eos Amaterasu: another visit the Queen Mary 2
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eos Amaterasu: plus L'Hermione led into Lunenburg Harbour by the Bluenose II
Adams Rubble: we had rain yesterday; it has settled into a hot humid pattern here
Adams Rubble: for the next week
Adams Rubble: nice that you can see the harbor
Eos Amaterasu: still get cool nights here, single digits C
Adams Rubble: it has been pretty moderate here until today
Adams Rubble: is the coolness the lattidude or the proximity to the ocean?
Eos Amaterasu: Northeast part of N. America projected to be one of few areas in the world to not greatly heat up
Eos Amaterasu: melting glacier and arctic ice cooling this side
    Eos Amaterasu: (for a while....)
    Adams Rubble: (:()
Adams Rubble: Your air conditioning unit is a metaphor for what we humans are doing to the earth
    Eos Amaterasu: you have one?
Adams Rubble: yes, I have one
Eos Amaterasu: I think NYC temperatures 1 or 2 degrees higher in summer cause of AC
Adams Rubble: I meant the temporary reason for the northeast staying cool
    Eos Amaterasu: yes
Adams Rubble: We have used less electricity since putting in the ac unit from what we used to use with fans
Adams Rubble: it was a surprise
    Eos Amaterasu: hmm
    Adams Rubble: big difference
Adams Rubble: of course it is an efficient unit
Adams Rubble: and the fans used to run all the time
Adams Rubble: still it was a surprise :)
Eos Amaterasu: were you really able to isolate electricity used by fan/AC?
Adams Rubble: no, just the monthly bill dropped when we put it in. One of two things we did that made a dramatic difference in the bill
Adams Rubble: the other was putting back a south facing window that dramatically cut the heating bill
Adams Rubble: the previous owners had boarded it up
Eos Amaterasu: putting up membranes for local eco-sys regulation
Adams Rubble: the trees we put in shade it in the summer
    Eos Amaterasu: that's wonderful
    --BELL--
Eos Amaterasu: reminds me of movie I just saw, "Salt of the Earth", where a barren hillside and valley in S America is replanted, and over the years the ecosystem returns
    Eos Amaterasu: flora and fauna
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eos Amaterasu: all the way up to the Jaguars !
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eos Amaterasu: (like where did they come from?)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: native plants work wonders
Eos Amaterasu: maybe you'll get mountain lions? :-)
Adams Rubble: well, not excited about that although they might keep down the deer population explosion
Eos Amaterasu: here we no longer have native mountain lions
Eos Amaterasu: we do have coyotes, more and more
    Adams Rubble: yes same here
    Adams Rubble: and bears
Adams Rubble: the bears are coming into the population areas
    Adams Rubble: shhhh
Adams Rubble: Some host I am talking through the mindfulness period
Eos Amaterasu: you got reprimanded by the bell?
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Eos Amaterasu: Nice touch, Wol!
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eos Amaterasu: Well, I will take off....
Adams Rubble: some people have claimed they have seen mountain lions
Eos Amaterasu: Nice to spend some time here with you, Adams
Adams Rubble: yes, you too Eos :)
Adams Rubble: have a wonderful day
Eos Amaterasu wonders what the normal exit is
