Eden, Riddle and Adams
Depressed
Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Good, Adams
Riddle Sideways: and Eden
Adams Rubble: Good morning Eden :)
Riddle Sideways: need to move face cat
Eden Haiku: Good morning Riddle, good morning Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: /listens for all the travel and return and news stories
Adams Rubble watches the ceremony of the passing of the session log
Eden Haiku: Quite a ceremony it is :))
Riddle Sideways: Pomp?
Eden Haiku: Well, Riddle, my story will be short: was so tired and confused, I forgot the session last week (thank you Adams for claiming and posting the log!), then I voted and have been depressed since :(
Riddle Sideways: awww, too short
Adams Rubble: :(
Eden Haiku: It gave me more empathy for what you guys have been going through...
Riddle Sideways: really?
Riddle Sideways: that bad?
Riddle Sideways: cause we make it out to be very bad
Riddle Sideways: and complain too much
Riddle Sideways: no, just right
Eden Haiku: No, maybe not that bad (the orange one wins!) but having a national puppet is worse than having an international one... I feel more concerned...
Eden Haiku: I stopped Twitter for many days and stopped watching the news....
Riddle Sideways: that is good
Eden Haiku: Watched only international tv from France and heard about the new Supreme Court Judge... Arrgh...
Riddle Sideways: Arrrgh ...
Eden Haiku: Yes Riddle, it felt good staying away from the heat of discussions...
More time to read
Eden Haiku: Discovered I had more time to read.
Riddle Sideways: very good
Eden Haiku: Read Adams' blog, which is excellent :)
Riddle Sideways: reading that Adams is reading
Eden Haiku: And a fascinating book about Mongolian shamans.
Eden Haiku: Yes, reading that Adams is reading about her ancestors' life :)
Eden Haiku: The fact that you always thought your great-grand-father traveled by train, when there were no trains :)
Eden Haiku: How we "recreate" the reality with shreds of it...
Eden Haiku: How about you Riddle? How are you doing?
Riddle Sideways: in reading Adams' blog, thought about how the daily reading, movie, songs arise in that night dreams
--BELL--
An appearance
Riddle Sideways: Yes, recreating reality, dream worlds, stories
Eden Haiku: Had a dream last night about a blue and gray little car, very modern, kind of cubic :)
Riddle Sideways: weaving new with the recycled older threads
Eden Haiku: Yes, that weaving is very beautiful.
Riddle Sideways: read Cubist at first
Eden Haiku: smiles
Eden Haiku: I rarely dream of cars I must say...
Eden Haiku: You are very quiet Adams...
Adams Rubble: sorry for the quiet
Riddle Sideways: might have gone off to interruptions
Adams Rubble: I have gotten myself very depressed this morning
Eden Haiku: That's ok, I was just wondering if there was something wrong :)
Adams Rubble: Nice of you to read my blog and make kind comments
Eden Haiku: Ah, do tell us Adams
Eden Haiku: About feeling depressed
Riddle Sideways: depression is so easy to go to, now
Adams Rubble: I made the mistake of reading news this morning
Eden Haiku: AH!
Riddle Sideways: another in this house is very depressed and angry
Eden Haiku: Sometimes I feel I'm living in a dystopia where all news are propaganda...
Adams Rubble: I am depressed because the Republicans think the Kavannah hearings are going to help them in the elections next month. I keep asking myself "How can this be?"
Adams Rubble: and all indications are they may be correct
Eden Haiku: That's terrible....
Adams Rubble: yes
Eden Haiku: In Brazil it's this guy who thinks he will fight violence by authorizing arms everywhere who won the first tour...
Adams Rubble: I know it is the patronomy but it is hard to grasp
Riddle Sideways: discussed at statements (like Las Vegas odds makers) that losing the hearings might mean winning more voters
Adams Rubble: what are the odds that Adams Rubble will snap out of it by lunchtime?
Eden Haiku: The world is upside down...
Riddle Sideways: betting not
Adams Rubble:ohhh, I had an appearance this morning that I have not yet blogged
Riddle Sideways: The World is becoming Great again for more rich white Men
Eden Haiku: Better if you do Adams. Take a nap, go for a walk. Distance yourself from it...
Adams Rubble: I took a bicycle ride down in the park
Adams Rubble: it was windy and dark and somewhat foggy
Eden Haiku: Not helping the depression I guess :)
Adams Rubble: the moisture hung in the air and hit the face
Riddle Sideways: beautiful
Adams Rubble: the tide was very hard still coming in
Adams Rubble: I think it was being driven by the wind
Adams Rubble:it was over the bicycle paths close by the river
Adams Rubble: as I rode through one of the long puddles a litle fish swam across in front of my tire
Eden Haiku: Nice, washing up the blues...
Eden Haiku: Oh!
Eden Haiku: A fish?
Adams Rubble: yes, very small fish
Adams Rubble:an appearance
Riddle Sideways: an appearance
Eden Haiku: Symbol of Christ :)
Adams Rubble: bicycling with the fishes
Riddle Sideways: a snap
Adams Rubble: ohh, a good name for a post [also stole it for this log :)]
Eden Haiku: A fish needing a bicycle :)
Eden Haiku: A woman needing a man like a fish needing a bicyle :)
Eden Haiku: "Bicyling with the fishes", lovely post title yes
Adams Rubble: good New Jersey title
Adams Rubble giggles
Adams Rubble: does that need explanation?
Riddle Sideways: nope
Eden Haiku: The story of your ride is interesting though, with the wet air...
Adams Rubble: yes it reminded me of being out as a tropical storm is approaching--wild morning
Eden Haiku: Not explanation but context
Adams Rubble: there is a tropical storm approaching
Eden Haiku: Another tropical storm oh...
Adams Rubble: but this is not it
Riddle Sideways: not sure why fish loves bird
Adams Rubble: yes hurricane Michael will slam into the Florida panhandle mid week
Adams Rubble: will pass over the Carolinas
--BELL--
Take it slow
Eden Haiku: Oh! Eliza posted beautiful sunny pictures of trees on Twitter, hope she's not hit by this new storm...
Adams Rubble: she will not get a direct hit
Adams Rubble: may get some rain and wiind
Eden Haiku: I'm going back 5 minutes at a time, once a day for the last two days...
Eden Haiku: On Twitter I mean. It feels good to be away.
Riddle Sideways:take is slow
Eden Haiku: Yes
Eden Haiku: Talking with our plants who suffered from the summer heat even if someone was watering them on the balcony...
Riddle Sideways: did care taker not talk to them in the right words?
Riddle Sideways: they missed you
Eden Haiku: I'm afraid not. :)
Riddle Sideways: many of us need more than just watering
Eden Haiku: Yes, one of them is a real drama queen, When we come back she's always almost dead. But after talking to her in a sweet voice, she soon recovers :)
Eden Haiku: Very true Riddle. We need much more than watering...
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: admitting to have slipped and read about 20 dead in limo crash
Adams Rubble: ohh horrific crash
Ceremony of the claiming of the log
Eden Haiku: Today is Thanksgiving Day here. I started my day by writing down all that I'm grateful for.
Riddle Sideways: Great start to any day
Adams Rubble: Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Day Eden and everyone else north of the border
Eden Haiku: A limo crash....Oh, that's terrible...
Eden Haiku: Thank you :)
Adams Rubble: yes four sisters among the dead
Adams Rubble: two brothers
Eden Haiku:One of the things I'm grateful for is your company at the fountain on Monday mornings :))
Adams Rubble: aww, thank you. We are grateful you are here to dothe ceremony of the claiming of the log :)
Adams Rubble: and Riddle on Tuesdays
Riddle Sideways: the fish story reminded of old short CGI movie. Found it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYBes8ki3lo
Riddle Sideways: for later
Adams Rubble posted the bicycle story on the blog diring last break
Riddle Sideways: let's stay with grateful things now

Eden Haiku: Swarms of fishes and murmurs of birds, beautiful video Riddle :)
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: the raising of the chat log
Riddle Sideways: run it up the flagpole and see who salutes
Eden Haiku: A bit too military for my taste this music :(
Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: giggles
Adams Rubble: yes I agree, something more contemplative would be better
Eden Haiku: Check this video with Siberian shamans. More my idea of a ceremony :))) : https://vimeo.com/187215594
Riddle Sideways: funny, that music opened in viewer and had completely different "up Next" links to interest one along the edge. which was also different on laptop
Wardrobe issues
Nice hat captain Adams!
Adams Rubble: ohhh a ship
Eden Haiku:Nice hat captain!

Riddle's other t-shirt is in the washer
Riddle Sideways: giggles,
Riddle Sideways: found it at one of those shops that are spamming chat
Eden Haiku: hehe
Riddle Sideways: SL is kinda: \if the shirt fits, wear it
Eden Haiku: Yes, the mesh outfits are very tricky. Bought this beautiful pencil dress which I can't see with my viewer...
Eden Haiku: Wardrobes issues in SL aren't much better than wardrobes issues in RL
Riddle Sideways: very afraid, that don't know what a pencil dress is and looking it up might be ...
Eden Haiku: I need to let go of many clothes in RL because my closets aren't large enough...
Eden Haiku: But then it's hard to decide...
Adams Rubble: back, reading
Eden Haiku: Pencil dress is a straight knee lenght dress
Eden Haiku: We are into wardrobes issues Adams. How do you keep your inventory so tidy?
Adams Rubble is glad that she does not have to fit her clothes into a RL closet
Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Eden Haiku: I would need a huge walk-in...
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: MP has huge walk-ins
Adams Rubble employees the services of a personal librarian
Eden Haiku: The house I live in was built in the fifties and they had so few clothes then...
Adams Rubble: just have to know the Dewey Decimal system number of whatever outfit needed
Riddle Sideways: laughs
Eden Haiku: But I read this book by a Japanese lady, Marie Kondo and I know how to deal with all the RL clothes. The decision making will be hard though....
Riddle Sideways: noticed the 3-feathered schooner captains hat
Adams sporting her 3- feathered schooner capatain's hat with Riddle and Eden
Eden Haiku: Dewey Decimal system for inventory, are you joking Adams?
Adams Rubble: hehe, yes
Adams Rubble would be considered an eccentric if I had them catalogued like that
Eden Haiku: :0
Riddle Sideways: whaaaa
Riddle Sideways: with the extensive cross-refferencing card catalogs
Eden Haiku: It's only 49 F this morning. Quite cold for early October. And first time I notice outside thermometer gives the temperature in Farenheit as well as Celsius :)

Adams Rubble waves
Eden Haiku: Wishing you a great Monday and week!
Riddle Sideways: yes, put the garbage out
Riddle Sideways: by and thanks
After the session, I teleported to the new exhibit at the Sacred and Narrative Arts Museum. It’s quite overwhelming. This 1935 picture of young white children and adults looking at the lynching of this black man brought tears to my eyes.
