Riddle Sideways: Life is almost fine. This Second life on computers is not so good
Riddle Sideways: no! just too sick to play
Eden Haiku: Poor thing...
Riddle Sideways: it has a temperature
Eden Haiku: hehe :)
Riddle Sideways: how is your life going ?
Eden Haiku: I always dread the moment this computer will tell me it cannot support Firestorm anymore...
Eden Haiku: Life is good, flu is taking its time to leave me alone, still coughing...
Eden Haiku: Good morning ballerina Eliza :)
Riddle Sideways: so get well already!
Eliza Madrigal: Morning Eden and Riddle, sorry to hear you are still coughing
Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Eden Haiku: With the floating
Eden Haiku: floating/swimming hands :)
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: remember Bleu having great typing animations and trying out lots of them
Riddle Sideways: never found the Best one
Eden Haiku: It's almost over, no worries. I just keep finding online articles about people dying for the flu and my hypocondriac self is well fed with these :)))
Eliza Madrigal: It seems to be very similar to one that Bleu had. I don't remember shopping for this, but found it in my inventory
Just passing through
Riddle Sideways: ha. Adams just passing through
Eden Haiku: Had a glimpse of Adams too...
Riddle Sideways: inventory Happens
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Adams
Eden Haiku: Ah, here she is :) Good morning Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: there, Adams made it
Eden Haiku: How is life everyone?
Adams Rubble: whew!
Adams Rubble: Good morning Eden, Riddle and Eliza (l to r) :)
Riddle Sideways: a Walk-through, then some leaping, now all seated
Eliza Madrigal wishes the question had a quick and easy answer
Eden Haiku: What a beautiful smile Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: that would be nice, Eliza
Eden Haiku: Wondering how people felt at the brink of World War 2...
Adams Rubble: here a cloudy, brisk, breezy, aturmn day with changing leaves blowing in the wind
Riddle Sideways: oh, Eden!
Eden Haiku: Same here. And we had snow yesterday...
Adams Rubble: yikes, snow
Riddle Sideways: pretty image
Eliza Madrigal: weather is actually nice here too, breezy picnic weather
Riddle Sideways: still dark here
Riddle Sideways: has not decided what day time to have
Adams Rubble: next Monday will be a bit lighter at 7 am
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, time change...
Riddle Sideways: think that might be good
Adams Rubble: Hoping we are not on the brink of World War Eden. Too horrible to contemplate
Adams Rubble: Weat least have an election first to try to course correct
Eden Haiku: Yes, better focus on concrete actions Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: Hoping that does not anger more
Adams Rubble: the election of a thousand tears
Eden Haiku: Brazil also elected a right wing politician. He thanked God for his election and is arming the country...
Adams Rubble: and Merkel is throwing in the towel
Eliza Madrigal wishes mid-term could course correct a worldwide trend
Adams Rubble: it could :)
Eden Haiku: That would be nice Eliza ...
Dreaming the world
Eden Haiku:In drum circles we end with "dreaming the world" chanting. Maybe we could do that?
Riddle Sideways: image of Titanic comes to mind
Eden Haiku: Imagine in what world we would like to live?
Eliza Madrigal thinks she is sharing a mind with Riddle
Riddle Sideways: oh dear
Eliza Madrigal: :) that's actually a beautiful idea, Eden
Riddle Sideways: ok, starts chanting along
Eden Haiku: Not easy to start that vision
Eden Haiku: It's easier with sounds and images than with words
Adams Rubble: let's hope we all have our plates riveted on frontwards
Riddle Sideways: avoid looking at calendars, decide today is Thanksgiving
--BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: :) thank you
Riddle Sideways: nice pause
Eden Haiku: Grateful to be sitting by a virtual bubbling fountain with three friendly souls :)
Riddle Sideways: aw ㋡
Eliza Madrigal: ♥ ♥ ♥
Adams Rubble: :) :) :)
Riddle Sideways: also, wanted to know how to make those hearts
Riddle Sideways: *always
Riddle Sideways: does it involve hurting fingers?
Adams Rubble: :)
Eliza Madrigal: haha, Sunshine made the little animation for me
Eliza Madrigal: but it isn't so hard I think
Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, thought it would involve Sunji
Eliza Madrigal: half of my inventory is Sunshine particles
Riddle Sideways: another part of the globe that is out of the News Cycles
Eliza Madrigal: and that is very hard to parse for truth v fear mongering
Eden Haiku: Oh, Adams is transforming...into...?
Eliza Madrigal: sudden burst of calming fragrance
Eden Haiku: A lego?
Adams Rubble suddenly looking like a green lego
Adams Rubble: Eliza reminded me
Riddle Sideways: nice remembrance
Eliza Madrigal smiles
Riddle Sideways: oooooo flutterbys
Eliza Madrigal: I just clicked something called blessings of love attachments :) [the screen suddenly filled with an abundance of flowers and butterflies]
Eliza Madrigal: It is a bit much... but maybe too much is what is needed ^.^
Riddle Sideways: yes
Eden Haiku: Lovely!
Eden Haiku: Do you also see Adams as a green lego construction?
Riddle Sideways: sings, where have all the butterflies gone, long time passing
Riddle Sideways: ? no
Eliza Madrigal: I don't.... maybe you are seeing the little box that the greenery attaches to?
Eden Haiku: Oh...
Eden Haiku: I was seeing her earlier...
Eden Haiku: Youa
Adams Rubble has never been, or never aspired to being, a green lego construction
Eden Haiku: You were wearing a red dress Adams? You are still I suppose...
Eliza Madrigal takes a zyrtec, haha
Riddle Sideways: ah, that wonderful standing effect
Eden Haiku: Ah!!!!
Eliza Madrigal: storm of flowers :) aw
Eden Haiku: That wonderdul standing effect, thank you sweet heart!
Eliza Madrigal: do love that feeling
Eden Haiku: Gorgeous dress Adams :)
Eliza Madrigal nods
Adams Rubble: thank you Eden and Eliza :) I made a regular skirt to replace the prim skirt (she brags)
Eliza Madrigal: well done!
--BELL--
Eden Haiku: Prim skirt was very short I suppose?
Eden Haiku: So hard to find longer dresses...
Adams Rubble: well, when sitting it is :)
Adams Rubble: I put together an outfit the other day and realized I looked like Hillary Clinton from the back
Riddle Sideways: wow
Buried Rivers
Eliza this morning in her beautiful ballerina dress
Eden Haiku: So the new book club has launched a few days ago Eliza?
Adams Rubble: yes, sounds interesting
Eliza Madrigal: It did, and the first session went well
Eliza Madrigal: I think that, having just a few months, will help us stay focused
Riddle Sideways: hard to keep cats focused
Eden Haiku: Feeling like a cat :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bleu made these masks, but I don't seem to be able to share them ^.^
Eden Haiku: Humbaba mask Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: yes
Riddle Sideways: great masks
Eliza Madrigal: I'm in the middle of my friend's book also... I think I told you about it? https://www.amazon.com/Buried-Rivers-Spiritual-Journey-Holocaust-ebook/dp/B07J9RTRZ2
Eliza Madrigal: It is ridiculously priced on kindle right now
Eliza Madrigal: May see a review from a familiar poetic avatar
Eliza Madrigal: (Eos, if it shows up in US)
Eden Haiku: Oh yes, I remember you mentioning this title...
Riddle Sideways: ah, you did share that book before. how is it?
Eden Haiku: Sounds interesting
Eliza Madrigal: beautifully written, meditative
Riddle Sideways: wonder how anything about Holocaust can be meditative
Eliza Madrigal: I've never known someone so aware of 'body', in the sense that she is able to write about visceral processing etc
Eden Haiku: Yes, less than $5 on Kindle.... Buying it.
Eden Haiku: is the writer a friend of yours Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: well, she is a meditation teacher, and if you read, I don't know that she would have been able to dig into family 'history' without that
Eliza Madrigal: too much to bear
Eden Haiku: Oh...
Eliza Madrigal: yes, introduced to me by Eos years ago, visits Miami
Eden Haiku: Nice :)
Eliza Madrigal: She'll be here next month also, presenting at a conference... grew up in Montreal though!
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, I remember that, Where does she live now?
Eliza Madrigal: Boulder
Eden Haiku: Nice place to live for a meditator :)
Eliza Madrigal: like Eos she was a direct student of Chogyam Trungpa
Eliza Madrigal: who encouraged her not to distance from her own family heritage
Eden Haiku: loves Trungpa :) Never met him but read many of his books.
Eliza Madrigal: yes me too :))
Air Conditioning saga and the advantages of living in the north
Eliza Madrigal: brb - air conditioning saga continues
Eden Haiku: What happened? Is it your AC or electricity issues?
Riddle Sideways: the never ending AC story
Adams Rubble: the advantages of living in the north
Riddle Sideways: to each house, an appliance story
Eliza Madrigal: back, but I may have to sneak out early... the air conditioner caused a terrible situation that has to be fixed today... all the drywall replaced in the closet, etc
Adams Rubble: ouch
Riddle Sideways: yes, ouch
Eliza Madrigal: I hope they are finished before I have to get ready for my doc's appointment, since they are right near the bathroom/shower etc. working @@
Eliza Madrigal: :) small problems
Eden Haiku: Very disturbing problems though Eliza... sorry to hear that.
Eliza Madrigal: thank you
Adams Rubble: I hope it all works out
Adams Rubble: never like having workmen in the shower
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: I should go see if they need anything xoxox
Eliza Madrigal: thank you for being here this morning - deeply appreciate your friendship(s)
Adams Rubble: bye
Riddle Sideways: bye, and have fun
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: sigh
Eden Haiku: Have a great day Eliza! Thanks for the reference, bought the book on Kindle. Feels just right to read now...
Get up and do kinda day and a rant
Riddle Sideways: read a lot yesterday, it should be a get up and do kinda day
Eden Haiku: What did you read Riddle?
Adams Rubble: good day to get oneself into a forest
Riddle Sideways: go hug a tree
Riddle Sideways: the pretty colors
Eden Haiku: Trees barks are all dark and wet...
Eden Haiku: So much rain...
Eden Haiku: Just took short walks over the week-end. Had to spend much time revising an English translation of one of my poetry books. Translation was so bad, it was a lot of trouble to make it right. Luckily the publisher seems to be agreeing with me and willing to edit all the mistakes I pointed to...
Adams Rubble: ohhh
Eden Haiku: Not an easy task for him as he is speaking only English...
Eden Haiku: But he trusts me so it was worth all the work
Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: Translator used to be a friend, I feel so misunderstood....
Eden Haiku: Macho guy.
Adams Rubble: one brings so much of oneself to a translation
Eden Haiku: Yes, indeed.
Eden Haiku: He translated "violet night'" into "violent night" wonderful isn'it?
Eden Haiku: laughing at it now
Adams Rubble: ohhhh
Adams Rubble: long way from silent night
Eden Haiku: received the proofs a year ago and jut put that on ice...to let cool the anger.
Riddle Sideways: seems to have gotten something very different out of your poems
Eden Haiku: Many examples: he has an angel "howls" and so on...
Eden Haiku: Anger is such a difficult feeling to handle...
Adams Rubble: I hate it when the angels are howling
Eden Haiku: LOL
Riddle Sideways: bad image
Eden Haiku: In French the angel resonates...
Riddle Sideways: your translation is so nice
Eden Haiku: So suggested resounds but I'm not sure...I'm not a translator :(
Adams Rubble: St Cecilia would like the resonating better
Eden Haiku: Yes, this macho translator can't hear St Cecilia...
Eden Haiku: Obviously...
Eden Haiku: But it's over now, thanks to the publisher who heard me...
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: good the publisher did not hear the howling angels
Eden Haiku: :)
Eden Haiku: He flattered me writing back "you have a good eye for English", I feel all soothed now :)
Eden Haiku: "a very good eye" he said.
--BELL--
Eden Haiku: yeah!
Riddle Sideways: ah! a very good eye
Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: Still some anger at the translator lingering I guess...
Adams Rubble: you write English very, very well
Eden Haiku: It consumed my whole week end...And I'm not the one being paid for the job...
Eden Haiku: Thanks Adams. I read a lot in English. Unfortunately my spoken English is'nt so good: I struggle with tonic accents...
Adams Rubble: glad you will not be known for your violent nights and howling angels to your English speaking readers
Eden Haiku: Sorry for this little rant...
Adams Rubble: you wouldn't want to hear me speak French
Eden Haiku: yep! Glad too :)
“It will be dark followed by periods of light”
Riddle Sideways: that was not a very good rant, compared to what Adams and Riddle can do
Adams Rubble giggles
Eden Haiku: hehe :))
Eden Haiku: Computer issues rant? Political rants?
Eden Haiku: Feel free to share :)
Riddle Sideways: oh it has been shared in lots of logs
Riddle Sideways: sorry, beel
Eden Haiku: True, but I thought we could have a fresh piece of your mind? Yes, sorry bell...
Adams Rubble is feeling peaceful this morning--may change by noon
Riddle Sideways: a fresh peace of mind
Riddle Sideways: peaceful with a change of storms later
Eden Haiku: Oh that's a wonderful feeling Adams. A "fresh peace of mind"! Nice Riddle, you are providing the title of the log again!
Riddle Sideways: oh darn
Eden Haiku: oh, storms from the Pacific and Mexico?
Eden Haiku: They are coming your way?
Riddle Sideways: had not looked
Eden Haiku: :)
Adams Rubble: I think Riddle is referring to my potential storm
Riddle Sideways: metaphorically instead of meteorological
Eden Haiku: Hope not
Eden Haiku: ah yes, sorry didn't get that :)
Riddle Sideways: that took a lot ofspeelchecking
Adams Rubble probably thinks the metaphor is about her, about her
Eden Haiku: loves "speelchecking" :)
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: George Carlin used to paly the Hippie-Dippie weather man: "it will be dark followed by periods of light"
Eden Haiku: LOL
Eden Haiku: A guy on the weather report here keeps saying: evidently...For anything...
Eden Haiku: Newfoundland is going to receive a lot of snow tomorrow evidently...
Eden Haiku: Then Manitoba is getting very high temperatures evidently
Riddle Sideways: maybe a translation issue?
Eden Haiku: Even if it's not evident at all
Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: Maybe, he's from Belgium or something. maybe he doesn't speak English very well :))
Eden Haiku: And when he gets the news it strikes him as "evident" all the time :))
Eden Haiku: We are back to weather issues :))
Riddle Sideways: paraphrased, "you keep using that word, I think it does not mean what you think it does" - Princess Bride
Riddle Sideways: whether or not we want to get away
Eden Haiku: Nice quote :)
Eden Haiku: Maybe he just learned the word "evidently" recently and enjoys it so much he keeps repeating it? My father used to do that.
Eden Haiku: Repeat new words :)
Riddle Sideways: the word of the day, syndrome
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: evidently he did
Eden Haiku: Syndrome of the Princess Bride?
Riddle Sideways: it is a silly/stupid cult comedy movie that cultured sophisticated people as your such would not enjoy, but a some moments has such great enjoyment
Riddle Sideways: and truths
Eden Haiku: And truths :))
Eden Haiku: Will look it up :)
Adams Rubble: thank you for the discussion this morning. I hope you both find some peaceful moments today :)
Adams Rubble: bye for now :)
Eden Haiku: Took some life lessons from "Enchanted" with Ann Hathaway. Can't remember what though.,..
Riddle Sideways: ah, thank you Adams
Eden Haiku: Bye Adams and thank you!
Eden Haiku: Thank you Riddle and have a great day!
Riddle Sideways: well, back to a day, already in progress
Riddle Sideways: have a great week
Eden Haiku: Thanks Riddle, same to you.
Eden Haiku: Always nice to chat with you :)
Riddle Sideways: or gave ya a gift box
