Adams Rubble: If you go to the museum and turn east away from the museum, the Japanese pavilion is in front of you over a little wooden bridge

     A Story
Adams Rubble: did I ever tell you that I have a memory from 6 months old
Riddle Sideways: no

Adams Rubble: I remember being picked up from a bassinet like bed in a dark corner of a room with one windiw
Adams Rubble: It was in the middle room of the house I spent my first 12 years in
Adams Rubble: my mother carried me over to the window
Adams Rubble: I could sense her concern
Adams Rubble: I was not upset by it, just curious I guess
Adams Rubble: she carried me outside and there were fire hoses all over the wet pavement of the street
Adams Rubble: I remember a red fire engine--very red
Adams Rubble: It was well into adult hood before I recounted this to my mother
Adams Rubble: The apartmnent next to our house burned down--it was when i was six months old
Riddle Sideways: wow
Adams Rubble: I find it interesting that I remember appearances--mother's concern; hoses, red
Adams Rubble: so anyway, I know there is stuff going on in those little brains :)
Riddle Sideways: yes even knowing red and concern

Riddle Sideways: was also watching a SL full moon rising. not sure if have seen that before here
Adams Rubble: my mother's reaction was different
Riddle Sideways: oh?
Adams Rubble: I did about a month ago for the first time
Adams Rubble: well different from my experiences up until that time
Adams Rubble: enough to lay down some memory :)

Adams Rubble: probably fear and worry but she kept in check enough that I was not startled
Riddle Sideways: and what was mother's reaction to you telling her the story of a memory
Adams Rubble: I don't want to over analyze which would distort the memory
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: I don't remember her reaction then; I was very syuprised to find out I was only 6 months old
