    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Eliza...
    Eliza Madrigal: Lucinda?:))
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi
Lucinda Lavender: just wanted to say thanks for being here.
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, no worries at all
Eliza Madrigal looks around but doesn't see you yet
    Lucinda Lavender: hmmm
Eliza Madrigal: How is it going, getting ready for a nice weekend?
Eliza Madrigal: I see you now :)
Lucinda Lavender: yes...the ingredients are assembling themselves
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, nice of them to do that
Eliza Madrigal: and are the chickens primping
    Eliza Madrigal: ? hhee
Lucinda Lavender: seafood soup...yes! they are
Lucinda Lavender: and the plums are drying in the stove
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh... wow...
    Eliza Madrigal: plums... swoon
Lucinda Lavender: going to try our hand at making a plum wine...
Eliza Madrigal: So you have apple trees and plums...

Eliza Madrigal: Is it difficult to make cider?
Lucinda Lavender: not really, there is the washing of apples, cutting, placing them in a garbage disposal and then placing the mushed apples between the slats .
Lucinda Lavender: there is a tire jack to make the pressing happen
Eliza Madrigal: really? huge tools for the process!
Lucinda Lavender: the mushed part is called pomace...
Lucinda Lavender: well it is 21st century approace
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Lucinda Lavender: approach
    Eliza Madrigal: still wholesome :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes.

Eliza Madrigal: When my mom first moved to the country, she grew so many wonderful foods... it was a pleasure to take the kids up to work with them...
Eliza Madrigal: she has pear and fig trees still, but doesn't grow turnips and such anymore :)
    Lucinda Lavender: nice!
    Lucinda Lavender: turnips!
Eliza Madrigal: yes.... I thought I liked turnips a little, but those, when she grew them... it was unimaginable!
Lucinda Lavender: don't experience them much on a menu...
Eliza Madrigal: the difference in flavor..
    Lucinda Lavender: good?
    Eliza Madrigal: definitely
    Lucinda Lavender: with what flavoring?
Eliza Madrigal: Well not much actually... but I'll admit that the kids didn't love them as much as I did :)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Eliza Madrigal: things lose flavor if you package them too much
    Lucinda Lavender: nodding
Eliza Madrigal: I feel a bit removed from fresh food in daily life... just a few things we're consistent about and no close farmer's market
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
Eliza Madrigal: so I love listening to you...
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ewan :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Ewan!
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Ewan Bonham: hi folks...
Eliza Madrigal: All the hard work people tried to get away from making machines, is what is a luxury now

Bleu Oleander: whispers: hi all :)
    Ewan Bonham: hi bleu
    Lucinda Lavender: Bleu hi...

Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.

Eliza Madrigal: Eden just shared some tips with me that she learned from Storm, so I'm in good shape to get my project done tomorrow :)))
    Bleu Oleander: oh very nice
Bleu Oleander: Storm has good tips
Eliza Madrigal: amazing how little tricks can save so much time
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Ewan Bonham: Oh, what is the project?
Bleu Oleander: the "Being Puzzled" art project
    Lucinda Lavender: ah!
Eliza Madrigal: there are some displayed in the square now
Lucinda Lavender: Wish I had been able to envision something for that...
    Bleu Oleander: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/Events/PaB_Art/August_2010
Eliza Madrigal: My idea only came to me this morning or last night Lucinda :)
Lucinda Lavender: I looked earlier today:)
Bleu Oleander: there's still time Luci
Lucinda Lavender: thinking about saving time...

Ewan Bonham: wondering if you could summarize your idea, Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: maybe something with plums...
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) Oh, well it comes from Maxine's time report, Ewan
Eliza Madrigal: I am thinking to do something with circles and spheres.. ala pixellations
Eliza Madrigal: but we'll see what I actually end up with
Ewan Bonham: oh, out in the square?
Bleu Oleander: that would be great Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: sounds interesting!

Eliza Madrigal: I have a board at home... it is sort of a 'dream' board...
    Lucinda Lavender: ideas?
Eliza Madrigal: it is made of hundreds of circles... metal circles....
    Eliza Madrigal: all white
Eliza Madrigal: so I tell the kids it is the 'field of infinite possibilities'
Lucinda Lavender: not a bullitin board then...
Eliza Madrigal: and we put things like fortune cookie papers on it....
Eliza Madrigal: well, it can be
    Lucinda Lavender: oh..
    Bleu Oleander: nice
Eliza Madrigal: a magnet board :)
    Lucinda Lavender: ah..
Eliza Madrigal: It is a little what I had in mind to work with for the project... almost a 'blank slate'
Eliza Madrigal: even though it is textured
Bleu Oleander: sounds like it would be great
Lucinda Lavender: did you make it?
Ewan Bonham: Something like agroup project?
Eliza Madrigal: I thought of eden's being puzzled by the phrase 'presence of appearance'
    Eliza Madrigal: yes Lucinda :)
Eliza Madrigal: people can work together on these too, sure

Eliza Madrigal: Lucinda actually came to PaB through the art as being exhibit at first!
Eliza Madrigal: not the usual doors :)
    Bleu Oleander: oh really?
    Bleu Oleander: that's cool
Eliza Madrigal: Isn't that right Lucinda? You came to a session after?
Lucinda Lavender: Well I came before but not much before...

Ewan Bonham: lucinda, i was really impressed to hear that you are in such a talented choir as well.
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah
    Lucinda Lavender: thanks Ewan:)
Eliza Madrigal: I stand corrected :) I may have met you first at the exhibit
Bleu Oleander: what choir is that?
Lucinda Lavender: OSSCS.org.Orchestra Seattle Seattle Chamber Singers
Ewan Bonham: And that type of combined art and music exhibit may also be a draw for visitors..
Lucinda Lavender: Right about our meeting...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Nice idea Ewan
Ewan Bonham: Lucinda has some beautiful YouTube links
Lucinda Lavender: it has been my way of connecting to a family heritage...
    Eliza Madrigal: yes...lovely music
    Eliza Madrigal: family heritage?
Lucinda Lavender: mom a cellist...her mom too
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh!
    Eliza Madrigal: wow
Lucinda Lavender: dad a singer...his mom too
    Eliza Madrigal: spiral continues then
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    Lucinda Lavender: Eliza's family too?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, no not really... My great grandmother played piano at church...
Lucinda Lavender: my grand ma too
Eliza Madrigal: and cultivated gardens, and sang...
    Eliza Madrigal: and prayed :)
Ewan Bonham: What a lovely life...singing while gardening..:))
Eliza Madrigal: but she was a book keeper at the school board by trade
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: she was lovely, yes
Lucinda Lavender: nice to have the memories...
    Ewan Bonham: prayerful singing..

Eliza Madrigal: hm, in some ways it was more that she cultivated presence... if that makes sense....
Bleu Oleander: what a lovely family heritage
    Eliza Madrigal: a welcoming space

Eliza Madrigal: Ewan, still with us?
Eliza Madrigal: (hope Ewan isnt stuck)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Eliza Madrigal: And you Bleu? Your family background?
Bleu Oleander: no singers I'm afraid
Bleu Oleander: a few artists though
    Eliza Madrigal: how fitting :)
Lucinda Lavender: now we have this new landscape...
    Eliza Madrigal: hmmm, yes interesting
Ewan Bonham: I will have to leave...something in rl...may be back...:0
Ewan Bonham: have a good group...:)
    Bleu Oleander: bye Ewan
Eliza Madrigal: Okay, bye for now Ewan. have a good night
Lucinda Lavender: hope to see you again...

Eliza Madrigal: Lucinda is making cider this weekend, Bleu...
    Eliza Madrigal: and plum wine
    Bleu Oleander: oh yum!
Lucinda Lavender: from a 40 year old tree...
Lucinda Lavender: they are called Stanley plums
Bleu Oleander: could go for some right now :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, forty like me... hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: Nice :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: sure:)
Eliza Madriga tries to remember if she's ever tasted anything in a dream
    Lucinda Lavender: sure...
    Lucinda Lavender: interesting idea...
Bleu Oleander: I've eaten in a dream, but don't know if I've ever tasted in a dream :(

Lucinda Lavender: my husband made 5 gallons

Eliza Madrigal: remember months ago pema said he tasted metalic, in a dream. You know, adrenaline tastes metalic, though I didn't think of it at the time

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, Bleu can get there quicker than I can... it will all be gone
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
    Bleu Oleander: interesting
Eliza Madrigal: I can't remember eating in a dream either!
Lucinda Lavender: I think I have sat at tables...but not eaten...
Bleu Oleander: I eat quite frequently in my dreams

Eliza Madrigal: really? that's so interesting.. have never thought of it really
Eliza Madrigal: what do you eat?
    Lucinda Lavender: curious...
    Bleu Oleander: mostly sweets
    Eliza Madrigal: /me grins
    Bleu Oleander: of course
    Eliza Madrigal: Of course!
    Bleu Oleander: no calories
Lucinda Lavender: remembering the heat and the ice cream...
Lucinda Lavender: from a guardian session a while back

Eliza Madrigal: My son says that if one doesn't have to eat in a video game, it isn't fun. That having to eat makes you feel like you are really there...
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
Eliza Madrigal: sort of a neat idea
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Eliza Madrigal: Please don't tell me you are making ice cream too Lucinda... I'll have to book a flight
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
    Lucinda Lavender: no:)
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
    Eliza Madrigal: >whew<

Lucinda Lavender: plum wine will take a year...
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, so you are only making it now?
    Bleu Oleander: wow
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Eliza Madrigal: then this time next year you'll have a plum wine party :)
    Lucinda Lavender: sure!
    Lucinda Lavender: you ARE INVITED
    Eliza Madrigal makes note
    Lucinda Lavender: GREAT
Eliza Madrigal: Did you look at the location of the Seattle retreat I wonder... not sure if it is near you...
Eliza Madrigal: I mean, it IS near, but how near... hah
Lucinda Lavender: I thought I heard it was vashon island?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh,... yes that's right
Lucinda Lavender: a short trip on the ferry from the downtown terminal
Lucinda Lavender: I am not too far north
Eliza Madrigal imagines living near a ferry, sounds nice

Eliza Madrigal: I'll have to rent a van, pick up Bleu on the way...
    Bleu Oleander: does sound nice
    Bleu Oleander: fun!
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Lucinda Lavender: kind of magical...
Eliza Madrigal: magical does seem the word...

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I knew how to do that at some point...
    Eliza Madrigal searches memory
    Bleu Oleander: easy
    Lucinda Lavender: build?
Eliza Madrigal: >whew< again, don't have to search memory
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
Bleu Oleander: in file menu .... then upload
    Bleu Oleander: cost's L$10
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.

    Lucinda Lavender: file?
Bleu Oleander: at the top of sl window
Eliza Madrigal: in viewer two it is 'build'... just looked
    Bleu Oleander: in viewer 1
Eliza Madrigal: there is 'upload' at the bottom of the drop down. Thanks Bleu!
Bleu Oleander: so in v2 it's under build?
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Eliza Madrigal: I'm not sure about phoenix... will have to check when I finally use that
Lucinda Lavender: found it...but my photo is not highlighted...
    Eliza Madrigal: hm...
Eliza Madrigal: and I wonder what 'bulk' is...
Eliza Madrigal: they charge you for that too :)
Bleu Oleander: I think "bulk" is for uploading a whole file of photos
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, well then it would be a good deal... same price as for one
    Bleu Oleander: never tried it
Lucinda Lavender: I have brought a photo of myself in to put on the profile, best proportion?

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, nice idea Lucinda... I'm not sure about that though. Does it matter, Bleu?
Bleu Oleander: don't know for sure
    Eliza Madrigal: hm
    Lucinda Lavender: ha! it worked
    Eliza Madrigal looks
Bleu Oleander: but I keep it at 512x512
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, not there yet...
    Bleu Oleander: or 256x512
    Eliza Madrigal: (for me)
Lucinda Lavender: how to change to 512...
    Bleu Oleander: I use photoshop
    Lucinda Lavender: ok...
Lucinda Lavender: thank you so much Bleu and Eliza...always wondered
Eliza Madrigal: Well, thanks Bleu.... now I know, though I hadn't wondered in a while
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Bleu Oleander: hehe
Bleu Oleander: well must be going
    Bleu Oleander: take care :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks for everything
    Lucinda Lavender: tacke care Bleu...:)

Eliza Madrigal: just you, me, and the chickens now...
    Lucinda Lavender: cluck cluck
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha

Eliza Madrigal: It might be fun to do something like that in the village...
    Lucinda Lavender: some chickens?
Eliza Madrigal: yes... and crops and things :))
    Lucinda Lavender: seems doable...
Eliza Madrigal: might be fun. I went to a site the other day, looking for a magnolia tree... and there were sprinklers!
    Lucinda Lavender: really..:)
    Lucinda Lavender: maybe a plum...
Eliza Madrigal: yes, very plum, plums....
Eliza Madrigal: (thinks of the English Patient film)
    Lucinda Lavender: never saw that...
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, a wonderful movie... the desert sand becomes the sheets becomes ...
    Lucinda Lavender: ah...
Eliza Madrigal: well, it is textured
Lucinda Lavender: remember hearing about it being long...
Eliza Madrigal: but beautiful, and there is part where a character is burned so badly... and she feeds him a plum
Lucinda Lavender: but it sounds lovely...to have that plum.
Eliza Madrigal: yes, that too, but well done. Minghella (sp?) was an interesting film maker...
Eliza Madrigal: Anyway, I do hope your event and weekend is perfect
    Lucinda Lavender: thank so...
