    1. 1.

The Guardian for this meeting was Maxine Walden. The comments are by Maxine Walden.

This Sunday 1pm sessions seemed breezy, most folks slightly distracted, and my overview was that as a group we were still a bit affected by the weekend anniversary party last weekend.  Check and see what you think, dear reader.

    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Maxine
    Maxine Walden: ah, Steve, hi!
Maxine Walden: so nice to see you; another spiffy outfit!
stevenaia Michinaga: :) yes it seemed appropriate for bike riding
Maxine Walden: ah, bike riding, is that motorcycle bike or cycling bike?
    Maxine Walden: (a cyclist myself)

Steve produced a sleek bmx cycle and rode around the pavilion

    stevenaia Michinaga: bmx
    stevenaia Michinaga: Xrerme bikng
Maxine Walden: ah, I see !!
    Maxine Walden: Xtreme indeed!
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
Maxine Walden: you seem to be exploring all sorts of experiences with your avs
Maxine Walden: (not sure if you have one or several, with all your interesting outfits)
stevenaia Michinaga: hard to say what you are/have and what of that needs exploring
    Maxine Walden: hi, Korel
    Korel Laloix: osiyo
    Maxine Walden: agree, Steve
Maxine Walden: how are you, Korel?
Maxine Walden: nice to see you
    Korel Laloix: Tired, but good.
Maxine Walden: Ah, tired in a good way, I hope
stevenaia Michinaga: The other avatar you first met we in was a (temporary) transition between two woman :0
Korel Laloix: NOt really.. tax seasons.
Korel Laloix: So a painful good at work.
Maxine Walden: ah, steve, want to hear more
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, hard to "drop" taxes
Maxine Walden: painful good work, yes, Korel, you an accountant or your own taxes
    Maxine Walden: ?
Korel Laloix: I work for a financial management company for rich idiots
    Maxine Walden: :))
    Maxine Walden: oh, rich idiots....hmm
Korel Laloix: Sorry, that was hatefull of me.
    Maxine Walden: not at all!!
Korel Laloix: A lot of pro atheletes and other stars.
Korel Laloix: And lotery winners etc.
stevenaia Michinaga: tough choice to bear, poor and intelligent or rich and an idiot
Maxine Walden: ah...a lot of money but not always a lot of smarts I assume
    Korel Laloix: Or manners.
    Korel Laloix: Some are great.
Korel Laloix: Some are just not good human beings.
Maxine Walden: :)) oh really. Goes with the lack of smarts or the assumption of power due to money?
    Korel Laloix: Yes.
Maxine Walden: hmm, yes, actually that is sad how money can corrupt humanity...
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, sad that money alows for some to think it pays for arrogance
Korel Laloix: And the fact that there is a small part of women that will throw themselves at them, means to them that I will do the same.
Maxine Walden: oh, my, they expect that you would swoon over them, find them irresistible?
Korel Laloix: Shooting them down is a bit fun though... lol
    Korel Laloix: Exactly.
    Maxine Walden: Gosh...
stevenaia Michinaga: see Maxine, it;s that reality (or stereotype) that make me happy to be in this avatar

I had hoped to be able to get back to Steve's comment just now and ask more about it, but the flow of conversation did not seem to allow that

Korel Laloix: Everyone has something that is bad at their job, and if that is al I have to complain about.. I am blessed.
    Zen Arado: Hi all
    Korel Laloix: Heya
    Maxine Walden: hi, Zen
    Zen Arado: quiet tonight
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Zen
Zen Arado: must all be in the pub :)
Korel Laloix: SL is a bit quiet today I think.
    Korel Laloix: Good idea.
    Maxine Walden: :)
Maxine Walden: maybe we should all go for a beer?
    Zen Arado: ok by me
Korel Laloix: More in a wine mood.
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles, yes
Zen Arado: that would do too :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Susan
Maxine Walden: ah, actually me too
Korel Laloix: OR a nice marg.
    Zen Arado: Hi Susan
    iwandertoo Resident: waves to all
    Maxine Walden: hi, Iwandertoo Resident
Zen Arado: wonders why we need more meetings if we already have 4 per day
    Zen Arado: :)
Korel Laloix: THink I am going to go have a lay out in the yard... the sun just peaked out.
Korel Laloix: Take care all.... ciao
Zen Arado: enjoy the sun Korel
    --BELL--
Maxine Walden: thanks Steve, for the wineglass
    iwandertoo Resident: ty
    Zen Arado: ty Steve
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s a big one, fewer refiles needed
Maxine Walden: Sunday afternoon with wine and friends
    Maxine Walden: hard to beat
Zen Arado: prefer a cold beer atm
    Maxine Walden: :))
Maxine Walden: any topics anyone like to bring up re PaB or related items?
    Zen Arado: Hi Yaku :)
Zen Arado: red wine has health benefits though
    Maxine Walden: :)
    Maxine Walden: hi, Yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good eveing everyone
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Yak
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
Maxine Walden: we are contemplating wine and beer with friends on a Sunday afternoon/evening, Yak
Maxine Walden: but also maybe other contemplations as well
Yakuzza Lethecus: oh, yes i heard about the postive effects of red wine too, well i drink beer most of the time for dinner, but wine has more elegance
Yakuzza Lethecus: i even drink wine and beer alone
    Zen Arado: watching the Masters
stevenaia Michinaga: I find it better in social situation

I seemed to muse how to link our conversation with PaB but it felt a strain at this point so going with the flow seemed the better way

Maxine Walden: (trying to think how to segueway into PaB topics from wine in the afternoon...)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hmmm, I:m hovering
Maxine Walden: I see, Steve, maybe buzzed by wine
stevenaia Michinaga: must have been the wine earlier
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, the flow of conversation is always interesting, the conversation can turn on a word
    Maxine Walden: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: or silence can eruptt=
    stevenaia Michinaga: or
    Maxine Walden: :))
Maxine Walden: we may be having our own pub time here
    Zen Arado: play as booze
    Zen Arado: or boozing
    Zen Arado: :)
    Maxine Walden: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, i remember a picture ,,for god SAKE send booze
    Maxine Walden: :)
Maxine Walden: "...stranded in the desert/boring classroom/ etc.....send booze..." ?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Qy4iftwk5JM/SFgGp1RtpmI/AAAAAAAADVE/qXSMpZ5v-d4/s400/Send_Booze.jpg
    Maxine Walden: hahaha, Yaku, thanks
Zen Arado: scared to click on link cos I am watching TV already
    Maxine Walden: hmm
    Zen Arado: Masters Golf Tournament
Zen Arado: doesn't need much concentration
Maxine Walden: seems some of us are kind of distracted ...ah, Masters...play as master golfer
    --BELL--
    Maxine Walden: ?
Maxine Walden: maybe just nice to have gentle distraction at hand...
Zen Arado: Augusta is such a beautiful place
    Maxine Walden: hmm
Zen Arado: the atmosphere is so nice
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, distraction is handy for me to not gain a feeling of stuckness, but concentration is a problem as well

Here would have been another entry for discussion

    Maxine Walden: sounds lovely
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Everyone :)
    Zen Arado: Hi Eliza :)
    Maxine Walden: hi, Eliza!
Zen Arado: I'm doing levitation as well
Maxine Walden: We are slightly boozing, distracted, levitating....come be with us
Eliza Madrigal: I was going to ask... I see Steve in a scarecrow pose and Zen standing as if in a quick sand cushion
    Zen Arado: Masters watching...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)) Thanks Maxine
Maxine Walden: wine or beer, Eliza?
Zen Arado: a guy from N.Ireland was leading...
Eliza Madrigal: hm... what is that drink Sun recommends? haha
    Zen Arado: Rory Mc Ilroy
Zen Arado: that's for hippos :)
    Eliza Madrigal grins
Maxine Walden: a drink for hippos?
Eliza Madrigal: It is a South African fruit they may drinks out of...
Eliza Madrigal: she sent a video of ostriches stumbling around
Maxine Walden: You know, I wonder if we are still coming down from last weekend's party
    Eliza Madrigal: hmm
Maxine Walden: oh, drunk ostriches...what an image
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe, yes!
    Zen Arado: Hi Zon :)
Maxine Walden: (but here I am contributing to the levity or levitation...maybe it is difficult to come down to earth after last weekend)
    Maxine Walden: hi, Zon
    Eliza Madrigal waves to Zon
Eliza Madrigal: slow landing, yes makes sense Maxine
    Maxine Walden: :)

Zen raises an interesting point, one which may need further discussion

Zen Arado: we have a tough schedule I think with 4 meetings per day
Maxine Walden: yes, Zen, you were mentioning that earlier...care to say more?
Zen Arado: if you tell others about that they are astonished
    Zon Kwan: heya all
Maxine Walden: nice to see you, Zon
Zen Arado: once per week is difficult enough for most
    Maxine Walden: hmm
    Eliza Madrigal: yes, its impressive
Eliza Madrigal: to be honest I feel quite sober today... went to a wondeful garden exhibit today, and hung PaB on a wishing tree :)
Zen Arado: so we can't be brilliant all the time
    Zen Arado: :)
Maxine Walden: SL garden, Eliza or rl?
stevenaia Michinaga: nice up you to join me up here Zen
Zen Arado: " hung PaB on a wishing tree " not sure I get that Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: RL Maxine, Fairchild Tropical Gardens
    Maxine Walden: hmm, thanks
Zen Arado: yeh didn't want you to feel strange Steve :)
Eliza Madrigal: They have a wishing tree grove, one of many Yoko Ono has begun....
Zen Arado: so you made a wish for pab?
Eliza Madrigal: It was lovely to sit in the midst of these trees, little leaves dancing, white tags swaying with notes like "I wish for a bunny"
stevenaia Michinaga: new if I can only figure out how to do this on call
Zen Arado: ah yes I've seen that at a Tibetan temple
Zen Arado: I'm going there next weekend
Eliza Madrigal: Well, I did write Play as Being on a tag, along wth other names
Zen Arado: to see Ringu Tulku
Eliza Madrigal: I think not only TIbetans but in a few traditions
    Eliza Madrigal: interesting, Zen
    Eliza Madrigal: type of retreat?
    Zen Arado: no a course
    stevenaia Michinaga: brb
    Eliza Madrigal: ah :)

And Eliza and then Zen give two links toward beautiful 'gardens' as it were

    Eliza Madrigal: http://www.fairchildgarden.org/art-at-fairchild/Les-Lalanne/
    Zen Arado: http://www.samyeling.org/index/samyeling-course-action?id=137&course_title=Ground%2C+Path+and+Fruition
Eliza Madrigal: Is it your group learning from another group and vice versa?
    Zen Arado: oh no
Zen Arado: just two of us going to this
Zen Arado: I have a friend who likes Tibetan Buddhism
Eliza Madrigal: looks interesting, you are branching out quite a lot Zen
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bruce :)
Zen Arado: I like it too now and then
Zen Arado: I was there before about 3 years ago
    --BELL--
    Maxine Walden: hi, Bruce
Bruce Mowbray listens . . . (and nods 'hi' to all.)
    Zen Arado: Hi Bruce
    Zon Kwan: hi B
Maxine Walden: We are comparing, sharing leisurely, beauty-bringing pursuits, on a weekend afternoon/evening, Bruce
Zen Arado: golf is a very mentally demanding game
Eliza Madrigal: eventually btw, all the wishes will go to Iceland to the John Lennon peace tower (done) :)
    Eliza Madrigal: golf?
    Zon Kwan: patience demanding yes
Zon Kwan: i dont have thta much yet
Zen Arado: yeh isn't everyone watching the Masters?
    Eliza Madrigal: haha, um...
Maxine Walden: Zen is watching the Masters tournament...while being here...
Eliza Madrigal: Ohhh, it seemed a funny leap
    Zen Arado: golf as being
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: a microcosm of RL

And then to my eye we seem to begin a thread of conversation about various aspects of appearance, how we look, how things look to us

Bruce Mowbray: beauty-bringing pursuits . . . like walking in the country.
Zen Arado: you need a lot of money to join Augusta I suspect
Bruce Mowbray: gathering litter along country roads as Being.
Eliza Madrigal: mmm, yes.... or in a very cultivated, layered garden with many coves and expanses
    Zen Arado: elitist
Bruce Mowbray is a litter fanatic, you understand.
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Zen Arado: good for you Bruce
Maxine Walden: several meanderings this session it seems
Bruce Mowbray: Every litter bit hurts.
    Maxine Walden: :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Zen Arado: ouch
Bruce Mowbray: no litter on the golf course, though.
    Bruce Mowbray: (back to Zen).
Eliza Madrigal: I did pick someone's wish off the ground today, hung it back up...
    Zen Arado: no
Zen Arado: I worked on my head
    Maxine Walden: oh, Zen?
Zen Arado: think it is better?
    Eliza Madrigal: Is it?
    Zen Arado: don't know
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: think it is more like me in RL
Eliza Madrigal: Ohhh you mean your av head?
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
    Zen Arado: yes
Eliza Madrigal: zooms in... your facial hair is very close
Zen Arado: can't do much with my real one :)
Maxine Walden: took me a moment to catch on too
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: you look remarkably like you now Zen, I think
    Zen Arado: cosmetic surgery ?
Zen Arado: nah I am older than this
Zen Arado: but who wants to look old ?
    Eliza Madrigal: wise guys?
Zen Arado: can't be honest all the time
    Zen Arado: old wise guys
Eliza Madrigal: :) not sure it is about honesty...
Eliza Madrigal: but does it make you feel more at home to look similar to RL self?
    Eliza Madrigal: or RL face?
Zen Arado: yeh there isn't any rule says we have to look our RL self is there?
    Eliza Madrigal: not at all
Eliza Madrigal: we give up familiar appearance reference points perhaps
    Eliza Madrigal smiles at Bruce
Eliza Madrigal: now that can't feel comfortable
Zen Arado: looks down at Eliza
Zen Arado: you look young tho Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: yeppers, photo taken in 1996.
    Maxine Walden: :)
Bruce Mowbray: current one would frighten everyone off the golf course.
    Eliza Madrigal: =P~
    Maxine Walden: :))
Eliza Madrigal: I have to get going, feeling sleepy from the sun today but wanted to check in
    Zen Arado: ok bye Eliza
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye Eliza
Bruce Mowbray needs toget out with dog and pick up litter along country road now.
Maxine Walden: thanks for coming, Eliza. yes, I have to go in a moment as well
Zen Arado: have a nice rest
Bruce Mowbray: Bye for now, everyone.
Eliza Madrigal: Bye for now everyone :)
    Zen Arado: bye Bruce :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Maxine
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
    Maxine Walden: yes, thanks everyone
    iwandertoo Resident: thank you
    Zen Arado: bye all
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Susan
