The Guardian for this meeting was Lucinda Lavender. The comments are by Lucinda Lavender.
Yakuzza, myself, a candle.
Yakuzza Lethecus: a flying candle :)
Lucinda Lavender: Hi Yaku. Yes a Flying candle:)
Lucinda Lavender: found it here
--BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: aph, lightened a candle for us :)
Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: So we have made the trek to friday:)
Lucinda Lavender: Felt like a shorter week to me
Yakuzza Lethecus: fridays i am always calming down a bit, i wonder about ppl working on projects who don´t have regular hours and workdays percieve the week
Yakuzza Lethecus: for me it´s very structured
Lucinda Lavender: yes for me too..each day is structured by work, coming home, dtc
Lucinda Lavender: dtc means I made an accident with the typing
Lucinda Lavender: I like the structure I think yet I look forward to time when I can be spontaneous
Lucinda Lavender: Lately I have been reading more in the evening and find that restful
Lucinda Lavender: especially with the extra rehearsals that are in the schedule
Yakuzza Lethecus: that´s a sure way for me to fall asleep, yesterday i read to evelyn and i directly got tired after 10 minutes of reading :)
Lucinda Lavender: well the voice uses energy I think
Yakuzza Lethecus: no, it´s the reading itself, voice usually keeps me more awake
Lucinda Lavender: do you read in english? outloud?
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, sure
Lucinda Lavender: is 10 minutes of outloud english more tiring?
Lucinda Lavender: I am sure 10 minutes of outloud german would be for me..
Yakuzza Lethecus: by now i really think it´s the same either in english or german, i am a bad reader in both languages :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: of course it also depends on the immersivness of the text
Lucinda Lavender: how much you feel you are understanding it you mean?
Yakuzza Lethecus: nah, if you are in the story with the characters, coherence with the book
Lucinda Lavender: ah...immersing oneself into the plot
--BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: Have you made something for the Happiness Art project?
Yakuzza Lethecus: no, was just thinking about that before
Yakuzza Lethecus: external triggers of happiness vs being happy
Lucinda Lavender: yes...to be happy without the external triggers...just independent of things happening etc
Yakuzza Lethecus: don´t know in how far that can be related to an endgoal of no self, i usually need external event´s to make me happier :)
Lucinda Lavender: yes me too
Yakuzza Lethecus: got viewer problems, will relog
Lucinda Lavender: I think there have been times when a flash of happiness happens without warning
Lucinda Lavender: ok:)
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes :)
Lucinda Lavender: wb:)
Yakuzza Lethecus: thx
Lucinda Lavender: I had a dream this week... and in it...I was with Maxine. Listening to music
--BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: maybe at her home. We held glasses that we were swirling around to look at the sediment and how it lined up. We were looking at the sediment from below.
Lucinda Lavender: Hers was a white drink that created white lines...mine was colorless and no lines.
Yakuzza Lethecus: It´s interesting how my mind shifts when i read for example about ur dreams, i have to think of the wednesday sessions once a month last year
Yakuzza Lethecus: that i usually don´t contribute, ur discussions on color and interpretations on color
Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: maybe the topic is not that interesting...for you.
Yakuzza Lethecus: or the speaker that you brought into the kira cafe once
Yakuzza Lethecus: gosh, most subjects weren´t for me then :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s that i define a lot of subjects as very important, like aph mentioned comfort zones last guardian session, still i do not like to debate myself
Lucinda Lavender: for me looking at dreams is kind of like creating poems...a conglomeration of topics, symbols, and it all appears together expressing something
Lucinda Lavender: that is my expereince
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think we can´t speak and communicate all our thoughts, i can imagine that we can make discovery´s
Yakuzza Lethecus: i even try to go to the dream workshop when i find the time and am not falling asleep at the session like this tuesday :)
Lucinda Lavender: nodding...
Yakuzza Lethecus: sl is for me enerally a way to gain input that i wouldn´t be heading for in rl, but think it´s senseful and would like to be exposed by it
Lucinda Lavender: exposure to ideas...yes
Lucinda Lavender: when newness is coming into experience.
Lucinda Lavender: newness( maynot be the right word but...)
--BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: hihi :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: keeping the newness alive :)
Lucinda Lavender: sometimes I think the dreams reflect possible views about what is new, unfolding as a possibility.
Lucinda Lavender: at least in my mind
Lucinda Lavender: I suppose I treasure experiences and mix them together symbolically
Lucinda Lavender: and now I am drinking the colorless, sedimentless drink.
Yakuzza Lethecus: about dreams, i have only fragmented ones, there are some ppl able to dream full story lines around for example the dream workshop, mick usually is good in memorizing his dreams and writing them down
Lucinda Lavender: yes..many ways to dream...
Lucinda Lavender: waking to dreaming(surfacing of consciousness) seems like athing to practice
Lucinda Lavender: used to have the soty type dreams more than now...only sometimes now
Lucinda Lavender: probably too tired
Lucinda Lavender: story
Lucinda Lavender: little parts written down can be a starting place...as time goes on there is a familiarity with gets placed in the dream
Lucinda Lavender: with "what"
Yakuzza Lethecus: have a good start into the day luci
Lucinda Lavender: yep...I should go:)
Yakuzza Lethecus: and don´t let ur chicken starv :)
Lucinda Lavender: you too:)
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s late afternoon :)
Lucinda Lavender: ok...going right now to fill their feeder
Yakuzza Lethecus: have another coffee and make a few calls now
Lucinda Lavender: thanks:)
