The Guardian for this meeting was stevenaia Michinaga. The comments are by stevenaia Michinaga.
stevenaia Michinaga: Hi Luci
stevenaia Michinaga: how are you wearing time today?
Lucinda Lavender: :) like a thin gauzy scarf.
stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Lucinda Lavender: It only covers a little of the list of to do.
Lucinda Lavender: and you?
stevenaia Michinaga: been sitting here quietly for the past hour appreciating the weight and lightness of time
Lucinda Lavender: nice!
Lucinda Lavender: actually it feels pretty light to me too.
stevenaia Michinaga: today everyone was zooming past me on my trip home, I seems out of their time
Lucinda Lavender: nods
Lucinda Lavender: I started trying to read the magic of time
stevenaia Michinaga: a good week to re- read that
Lucinda Lavender: and I only made it a little way.
stevenaia Michinaga: smiles, I think it;s like good chocolate, needs to be taken only a bit at a time
stevenaia Michinaga: let it melt in your mouth before you take more
Lucinda Lavender: ok:)
Lucinda Lavender: i feel lucky to have the time I do for this sort of thing
stevenaia Michinaga: it's not like there is a rush to understanding, either
--BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: the part that is not exactly clear is "same old world appearing moment after moment"...tho I personally look at each moment generally that way. but maybe that is what is meant...a general sense of appearance that is new.
Lucinda Lavender: It is new because...things are in motions on some level...and it is newly seen?
stevenaia Michinaga: I have not read it in a while, so I can't say I remember without re-reading
Lucinda Lavender: ok:)
stevenaia Michinaga: and I can;t say I caught all the subtlty in Pema's wording
stevenaia Michinaga: the first go-around
Lucinda Lavender: It is so great to be a playeron so many levels
Lucinda Lavender: I feel it is fascinating
stevenaia Michinaga: Probably the reason we are all here
stevenaia Michinaga: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: at least one of them
Lucinda Lavender: nodding
Lucinda Lavender: had any dreams of late?
stevenaia Michinaga: yes... thinking, had a dream about working in a lawyer's office, one of those famous tv lawyer shows making copies on a copier machine
stevenaia Michinaga: and I kept getting the copies wrong, funny thing that happened today while printing double sided, just like the dream
Lucinda Lavender: :) heard an npr bit about how important the copier has been....just today
Lucinda Lavender: such a great invention for the secretary
stevenaia Michinaga: then someone mentioned that the carpet was worn out around the copier, jsut like my cat who has been loosing hair
Lucinda Lavender: a dream of getting ready for it perhaps
stevenaia Michinaga: I think that;s about it
Lucinda Lavender: a similar thinning?
Lucinda Lavender: of cat and carpet..
stevenaia Michinaga: yes
Lucinda Lavender: car...pet
stevenaia Michinaga: cat pet
Lucinda Lavender: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: seemed like a strange dream yet has so much connection to past and future events of the day
Lucinda Lavender: was this today? the dream?
stevenaia Michinaga: this morning
stevenaia Michinaga: and the printing issue was today
stevenaia Michinaga: maybe I was thinking about it, or was the printing issue yesterday...
stevenaia Michinaga: hmmm, it may ahve been
Lucinda Lavender: mine was this morning too and my conductor was suddenly with me...I thought ...you are dead...but he held out his hand to hold saying nothing...i asked...do you need music sorted?
stevenaia Michinaga: I don;t remember, t's all a dream
Lucinda Lavender: :))
Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: it was special to dream of George because...it has been very rare
stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Lucinda Lavender: past
--BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: the realms of dreaming and waking may be thin...
Lucinda Lavender: connected
Lucinda Lavender: less impeded by distraction
Lucinda Lavender: more focussed
Lucinda Lavender: it feels that way sometimes
Lucinda Lavender: thanks for sharing the dream
stevenaia Michinaga: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I forgot how it related to reality
Lucinda Lavender: it is ok
Lucinda Lavender: dreams come when there is energy for them...awakeness
stevenaia Michinaga: certain ones seem to be remembered
Lucinda Lavender: yes...maybe when there is awakeness to view them
stevenaia Michinaga: and the time to review then
stevenaia Michinaga: them
Lucinda Lavender: clarity, attention, inspiration
stevenaia Michinaga: thre is also the aspect of time in a dream, they feel like real time but some happen in a flash completely
Lucinda Lavender: well I had best go for now
stevenaia Michinaga: me too
stevenaia Michinaga: night Luci
Lucinda Lavender: they do pass incredibly...night Stevenaia

The cat and the carpet are things that have changed...something to observe and create a hypothesis about. Perhaps about how on the physical level things loosen and and let go.
And Yet...in my dream I am offered the hand of some one who has passed on. Connection and love is how that feels. No words. My response is offering attention to music filing. (As if work needed doing..ha.. I am still experiencing/working). I do notice we are standing in the home of a family of composers. One never seen before.
Thinking now that the composer is a source...of sheer appearance perhaps?Playfully dealing with patterns and rhythms as Pema put it in 01. Awareness in the magic of time link. edited 05:21, 24 Oct 2013
