Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Cat!
Catrinamonblue Resident: hello Bruce :)
Bruce Mowbray: sorry to be late!
Catrinamonblue Resident: you're not late, I'd say just on time :)
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: I appreciate your flexibility.
Catrinamonblue Resident: smiles
Bruce Mowbray looks for Blub and McBlubson....
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Anything big happening today?
Catrinamonblue Resident: lazy day :)
Bruce Mowbray: yeah, for my typist also.
Catrinamonblue Resident: nice to have those :)
Bruce Mowbray: He's been downloading movies and playing solitaire all day.
Bruce Mowbray: WHAT a bum he is!
Catrinamonblue Resident: lol :) mine is playing music and looking on ebay for things she can not buy
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, sometimes wishful thinking is good....
Bruce Mowbray: It can get us through the next hour -- or minute -- or so.
Catrinamonblue Resident: fun to dream
Catrinamonblue Resident: love looking at shabby chic stuff :)
Bruce Mowbray: I also talked with a friend today -- and we are planning a trip to Chicago next spring - together.
Bruce Mowbray: and it is nice to have that to look forward to -
Catrinamonblue Resident: nice
Bruce Mowbray: through the long and lonely winter.
Bruce Mowbray: yeppers.
Bruce Mowbray: I just got back from Chicago one week ago yesterday.
Bruce Mowbray: (my typist did, actually).
Catrinamonblue Resident: I'm getting my passport in order to do a bit of travelling outside the country :)
Bruce Mowbray: YAYYYYY!
Catrinamonblue Resident: :) I've been told it's about time I did it lol
Bruce Mowbray: I think my typist's passport is a few years beyond being due for a renewal.
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray makes note to check passport.
Bruce Mowbray: (although I don't plan any out-of-country trips in the near future.)
Catrinamonblue Resident: my friend is going to Cuba in a couple of weeks :)
Bruce Mowbray: but one never knows.
Bruce Mowbray: Wow!
Catrinamonblue Resident: nods :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes he is taking his cousin who has never been out of Canada!! :)
Bruce Mowbray: Didn't realized that was even legal -- or is that just for us American's?
Bruce Mowbray: Wow!
Catrinamonblue Resident: not sure :)
Bruce Mowbray: That will be a big adventure for both of them.
Bruce Mowbray: My typist went to Panama a couple of years ago.
Bruce Mowbray: It seemed like a third-world nation.
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes, my friend was in the navy so has travelled a bit, will be a good guide for his cousin :)
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, should be an excellent guide.
Bruce Mowbray: I wish them a happy adventure.
Catrinamonblue Resident: ty :)
Bruce Mowbray: any particular reason that they've chosen Cuba?
Catrinamonblue Resident: I'm sure they will have a great time, and next time I can go too ;)
Bruce Mowbray: (don't mean to be nosy).
Bruce Mowbray: Yayyyy!
Catrinamonblue Resident: not sure actually, I think it has to do with a vacation package but I'm not sure
Bruce Mowbray: yes.
Bruce Mowbray: Maybe they will meet Fidel there.
--BELL--
Catrinamonblue Resident: I think traveling could be fun and I'm really looking forward to it :)
Bruce Mowbray: Yes! I love to travel.
Bruce Mowbray: Looking forward to the adventure seems to be a large part of it. (for me, anyway).
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes, I remember planning family trips to Prince Edward Island :) a lot of fun to go there
Bruce Mowbray: My typist feels that it's important to stir up the "scene" a bit.
Bruce Mowbray: ahhhhh!
Bruce Mowbray: PEI!
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Bruce Mowbray: I've never been there -- only to Nova Scotia.
Bruce Mowbray: twice.
Bruce Mowbray: I would love to be able to live up there.
Catrinamonblue Resident: if you have a chance PEI is an amazing place to go and is different from NS :)
Bruce Mowbray: I've heard that.
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, different.
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes I plan to retire to PEI ;)
Bruce Mowbray: I wish I could go there right now!
Bruce Mowbray: oh wow!
Bruce Mowbray ponders retiring anywhere but the family farm.
Bruce Mowbray: and throws up his hands.
Catrinamonblue Resident: have no family farm to worry about :)
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: Well, no one else in the family cared about the farm --
Bruce Mowbray: literally for decades,
Catrinamonblue Resident: poor farm
Bruce Mowbray: until my typist took an interest in it, 42 years ago.
Bruce Mowbray: and he's been here ever since.
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, poor farm, then....
Bruce Mowbray: although now it's doing very well, since someone cares for it and loves it.
Bruce Mowbray: (also, my typist gets free rent!)
Catrinamonblue Resident: awesome then :)
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, awesome not having to pay rent for 42 years!)
Bruce Mowbray: Last week my typist went to Milwaukee.....
Bruce Mowbray: and he started thinking about moving there....
Bruce Mowbray: A delightful city.
Bruce Mowbray: but I'm afraid that would be too big a switch for him.
Catrinamonblue Resident: always fun to envision living elsewhere :)
Bruce Mowbray: yes.
Bruce Mowbray: He had a delightful time in Milwaukee....
Bruce Mowbray: everyone was so nice.
Bruce Mowbray: and the art museum there is to "die for," as they say.
Bruce Mowbray: Do you know about it?
Catrinamonblue Resident: lovely
Catrinamonblue Resident: no
Bruce Mowbray: It is a mobile sculpture.
Bruce Mowbray: I will find you some views.
Bruce Mowbray: just a sec, please.
Catrinamonblue Resident: here is a pic of a house on PEI, I always feel a bit sorry for houses like this

Bruce Mowbray: Yes!
Catrinamonblue Resident: that is amazing
Bruce Mowbray: Twice a day the museum opens and closes its "wings."
Bruce Mowbray: It is quite a sight.
Bruce Mowbray: Yes!
Bruce Mowbray: But what's really amazing is the collection of art works inside.
Bruce Mowbray: It truly is one of the most amazing collections I have ever seen -- or my typist, either.
Catrinamonblue Resident: very cool :)
Bruce Mowbray: http://hermitdog.com/chicago_2013/milwaukee/milwaukee.htm
Bruce Mowbray: Here's a gallery of photos that my typist posted -- of that museum.
Catrinamonblue Resident: lovely thank you :)
Bruce Mowbray: yw.... ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: A beautiful place.
Bruce Mowbray: No wonder my typist thought he might like to retire there.
Bruce Mowbray: But I'm thinking P.E.I. would be even better.
