Riddle Sideways: thank you, Listener Master
Riddle Sideways: Interesting readings on the topic "Orthodoxy"
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: A favorite saying:
Riddle Sideways: "Who are You to tell me to Question Authority!"
Riddle Sideways: Thank you, San for the link to Slomo: http://www.nytimes.com/video/opinion...999/slomo.html
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: Bruce asks a very good question in the email
Riddle Sideways: (the last one)
Riddle Sideways: Do you recall when you first "questioned authority" and why you did that?
Riddle Sideways: No
Riddle Sideways: the simple answer is no.
Riddle Sideways: there seems never to have been a time that "Why do it that way?" was not part of reasoning.
Riddle Sideways: Almost certainly it was the luck of being born into such an absurd set of Orthodoxies.
Riddle Sideways: every direction one looked (really looked) there were incongruities, inconsistencies, absurdities and blind acceptance of norms that defied reasoning.
Riddle Sideways: any topic direction one looked was a 'Why continue doing that?"
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: Tradition
Riddle Sideways: Even singing along with a Fiddler balanced precariously on a roof is not enough reason to continue to live that orthrodox life style.
Riddle Sideways: or maybe it was the way the TV reported who the Merry Pranksters were
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: thank you, bye
