Wol Euler: and thought that we've had one common kind of virtual space for .. dunno how many years now, just a sec

Wol Euler: I meant common as in shared, not specifically this or even SL
Wol Euler: because what I was thinking of was telephones

Wol Euler: when I talk to you on the phone, we are in a kind of common space, where we are very closely connected (and everyone else is excluded)

Wol Euler: which you can watch happening if you see a person who is in a phone call. They will use body languages, hand gestures, will pick up and wave papers, as though the other person were present
Wol Euler: because in a way they *are* present
Wol Euler: in that space of the phone call world
Alessa Tzal: Right
Wol Euler: so virtual worlds, virtual connection is as old as my late grandmother :)

Korel Laloix: I am still not good at understanding things like that... poetry and the like still does no t reall sink in for me ... at least in the language
Wol Euler: that may simply take time, Korel :) I was in my mid-forties before poetry started making sense to me

Korel Laloix: i get waht people are trying to say, but rhyming still elludes me... not sure if it just my bad English understanding or what.

Korel Laloix: There usually are poetry readings at powwows adn the like.
Korel Laloix: And books availabe.

Korel Laloix: but usually in English or Spanish vs native
