Wol Euler: nabend yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: guten abend wol
Yakuzza Lethecus: und bleu
Wol Euler: hello bleu
Bleu Oleander: hiya!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey qt
Bleu Oleander: hi Qt
Qt Core: Hi all
Wol Euler: hello qt
Yakuzza Lethecus: is there an update if storm is really taking the pavillion ?
Bleu Oleander: I think he is taking everything he made yes
Wol Euler: that's what he said he would do
Bleu Oleander: how is the new group forming Wol?
Yakuzza Lethecus: there will be a new group, not the current transfered ?
Wol Euler: to tell you the truth, I'm not sure!
Bleu Oleander: just for the group land I think Yaku
Wol Euler: was that definitely decided?
Bleu Oleander: nothing seems definite yet:)
Wol Euler smiles.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i placed the 512 to the main pab group two weeks back
Wol Euler: great, thank you!
Yakuzza Lethecus: but i guess thats changable anytime
Bleu Oleander: ty! Yaku
Wol Euler: yes, within the limit that you will be charged a full month for any period during which that tier is in effect
Wol Euler: even if you only donate it for twenty minutes, you'll still pay for a month
Bleu Oleander: yes
Yakuzza Lethecus: but i only have my 512 free qm
Bleu Oleander: right so no charge for you
Wol Euler: yes, right
Yakuzza Lethecus: i am totally new to premium
Wol Euler: I was stating a theoretical case which doesn't apply to you, in case people reading this might have the same question
Yakuzza Lethecus: i never had land
--BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: except through the group
Bleu Oleander: does it make managing group land easier if a new group is put together to run the group land or can you just buy through the current PaB group and only charge those going in on the tier?
Bleu Oleander: hi Aph
Wol Euler: hello aph
Qt Core: hi Aph
Aphrodite Macbain: Hi
Wol Euler: tier is donated rather than charged, so there is no need at all for a new group
Wol Euler: at least not for that reason
Aphrodite Macbain: NIce to see you Yaku
Bleu Oleander: ok thanks
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey aph
Yakuzza Lethecus: nice to see you :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Did you get my IM Wol?
Wol Euler: I'm not sure. Let me check
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm donating my 512 sq m to PaB
Bleu Oleander: ty Aph!
Wol Euler: no, the last thinig I had from you was our conversation on the 21st
Wol Euler: thank you!!
Aphrodite Macbain: and will rent at nother plot of land measuring 512 sq m
Aphrodite Macbain: odd
Yakuzza Lethecus: hmm, can one have multiple premium accounts ?
Aphrodite Macbain: I sent it yesterday
Bleu Oleander: with each alt
Aphrodite Macbain: no just one
Aphrodite Macbain: I gather i will have to pay a tithe on additional land
Bleu Oleander: gets pricy if you have a lot of alts :)
Aphrodite Macbain: $5 a month aint bad
Yakuzza Lethecus: well but one can sell the stipend
Wol Euler: yes, any additional land you wish to own will cost you tier
Yakuzza Lethecus: it gets virtually down to 1-2 dollar a month with a year subscription for ppl without vat
Aphrodite Macbain: I am donating the 512 I get for free with my premium membership to PaB
Aphrodite Macbain: the additional land I will pay for
Aphrodite Macbain: $5/month...
Bleu Oleander: brb
Aphrodite Macbain: Does that make sense Wol?
Aphrodite Macbain: I wonder why my previous IM didnt go through
Wol Euler: I'm not sure what you are asking. It makes no difference to the tier price you'll pay which tranche you "spend" where.
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey mick :)
Wol Euler: I got a message from Aggers just now that was from the 24th. *shrugs*
Mickorod Renard: Hiya Yaku,,guys
Wol Euler: hello mick
Aphrodite Macbain: I presume you can use this extra 512m2, no?
Qt Core: Hi Mick
Wol Euler: of course!
Aphrodite Macbain: ok
Aphrodite Macbain: good
Aphrodite Macbain: and there is nothing preventing me from buying some land for meto build on?
Wol Euler: land donation is just as good as money, and simpler
Aphrodite Macbain: kk
Wol Euler: only the fact that you'd need to pay additional tier on it
Aphrodite Macbain: nods
Aphrodite Macbain: but I am getting some land for myself too
Mickorod Renard: will you be providing a personal email link to paypal into Wol?
Wol Euler: and do remember that it goes up in fixed increments. Owning 1025 sq m is not cheaper than owning 2048
Wol Euler: yes, I will do that
Aphrodite Macbain: I was just getting the cheapest
Mickorod Renard: ty
Wol Euler: (again, talking to the recorder as much as to people present :)
Wol Euler: because others will have that question too
Bleu Oleander: hi Mick
Aphrodite Macbain: Regarding the party following the poetry bash - Savanna said she would provide the dance floor, music and all the trimmings :-)
Mickorod Renard: Bleu
Wol Euler: great
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, can be shocking to have 1qm more for 10 seconds and having to pay for double the land
Aphrodite Macbain: Hope you can come Yaku
Wol Euler: I was honestly about to say "bring the whole family" :) pity that doesn't work
Aphrodite Macbain: awww.
Aphrodite Macbain: how is the family Yaku?
Bleu Oleander: just for ref: https://secondlife.com/land/pricing.php
Aphrodite Macbain: thanks Bleu
Bleu Oleander: yw :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: the important things are fine, son was a bit ill this week but nothing serious
Yakuzza Lethecus: we all had the cold
--BELL--
Mickorod Renard: My grandaughter who seems to live with me much of the time has chickenpox
Mickorod Renard: oops
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm not sure when and how I should buy this piece of land
Aphrodite Macbain: aww. not a nice illness
Aphrodite Macbain: oops
Wol Euler: oops indeed
Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Mickorod Renard: :)
Bleu Oleander: Aph are you taking some of the PaB land that Storm is giving out?
Bleu Oleander: if so, let him know where and how much
Bleu Oleander: he'll let you know when he's ready to give it up
Yakuzza Lethecus: guess it is also a bit confusing now which group is going to get the land
Yakuzza Lethecus: we donate*
Wol Euler: actually let me clarify for the recorder and those listening at home, that you do NOT need to purchase a piece of land to support PaB in this way. You can just assign the use rights of that portion of your tier to the group
Bleu Oleander: there will be a group parcel and a few individual ones
Aphrodite Macbain: may I build on the land I assign to PaB?
Wol Euler: no
Aphrodite Macbain: that was why I was going to buy some land just for myself
Wol Euler: you will have building rights, as you do right now, but the group will need every prim available on its land for making the buildings we've been talking about
Aphrodite Macbain: so I wont be able to build unless I buy a bit of PaB land?
Bleu Oleander: Eliza will have a retreat space on her parcel and I will put up an art space on mine ... all other buildings need to go on the group parcel
Aphrodite Macbain: build something for myself I mean
Wol Euler: you will need land of your own, either owned or rented, on which to build for yourself, yes
Aphrodite Macbain: that's what I was referring to Wol
Wol Euler: well, wait, do you mean building for your private enjoyment?
Wol Euler: or for the use of us`
Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Wol Euler: ?
Wol Euler: private enjoyment on private land, we won't have the luxury of spare prims that we do now
Bleu Oleander: from what I understand the group land will be much smaller than we have now, so no individual guardian plots on it
Aphrodite Macbain: donating land for the use of PaB AND building a cabin for moi
Aphrodite Macbain: that's why I was planning to buy a small bit of land here- just for me
Aphrodite Macbain: and leaving my other alocation to PaB
Bleu Oleander: let Storm know what you want for yourself
Wol Euler nods.
Aphrodite Macbain: I have
Bleu Oleander: ok good
Aphrodite Macbain: there's a little space just left of the museum
Aphrodite Macbain: no right of the museum...
Bleu Oleander: I think Adams is going to close the museum and not taking any land
Yakuzza Lethecus: if land is given up to the lindens, will the current landscaping disapear ?
Wol Euler: possibly; in the long term very likely
Bleu Oleander: all the landscaping will go
Wol Euler: um, yes trees and suchlike belong to Storm
Bleu Oleander: trees water paths etc
Wol Euler: right
Bleu Oleander: a clean slate
Aphrodite Macbain: sad
Aphrodite Macbain: but clean
Bleu Oleander: I have many trees in my inventory as do some others i'm sure
Mickorod Renard: many tree's are free and so forth but more importantly they use up prims which we will have a serious limit of
Bleu Oleander: they may not be transferable but i'm happy to let PaB use them
Wol Euler nods.
Aphrodite Macbain: I have very many trees, bushes, gardens, flowers in my inventory
Aphrodite Macbain: I did a lot of gardening....
Bleu Oleander: so before we buy we should look in our inventories
Wol Euler: !
Mickorod Renard: yes, and look at how many prims each item uses
Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: we may need a landscaping committee :-)
Bleu Oleander: I have several pavilion like builds too ... some very similar to this from when I was making all those screens
Aphrodite Macbain: Hi druth!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hez druth
Mickorod Renard: Hi druth
druth Vlodovic: hi guys
Wol Euler: hello druth
Bleu Oleander: hi druth
Wol Euler: on a lighter note, I recently discovered a singer with a lovely voice and a very cheerful song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wr-SkkyoWL8 Enjoy during the break :)
Aphrodite Macbain: thanks!
Mickorod Renard: yes, it would be worth comparing your pavilions prim usage with this one,,it could save lots
Mickorod Renard: thanks Wol
--BELL--
Bleu Oleander: this one is not so much
Bleu Oleander: 61 plus pillows, fountains, torches
Bleu Oleander: probably about 100 or so prims
Mickorod Renard: lovely Wol. interestingly enough I played this to my 14 month old gson and he loved it so much he wouldnt give me the phone back
Bleu Oleander: each trellis has 15 (x3)
Wol Euler: awwww :)
Wol Euler smiles.
Aphrodite Macbain: lovely voice
Wol Euler: isn't it? It's like rubbing your cheeks against a peach-coloured angora sweater :)
Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Aphrodite Macbain: hmmmm
Bleu Oleander: nice!
Wol Euler: and she does it all herself, all the instruments, all the voices.
Wol Euler: there's another video of her doing it live, setting up the eight or ten sound loops that make up the song
Aphrodite Macbain: smart , a good singer and beautiful!
Wol Euler: indeed :)
Bleu Oleander: wisteria trees are 14 prims each ... just clicking around for reference
Wol Euler nods.
Mickorod Renard: I think the pergoda is bigger than we think
Mickorod Renard: I cant find the prim count on it
Aphrodite Macbain: It sits in an area 64x64 M2
Bleu Oleander: click on it to edit it
Yakuzza Lethecus: well if storm takes it, it doesn´t matter too much
Wol Euler: the figure I have in mind is 600 for everything related to the playgoda
Bleu Oleander: it fits nicely on 64x64
Wol Euler: true, yaku, but it gives us a target to work towards in the new one
druth Vlodovic: get a big circle with spots on it, then we can just ask peopleto sit on the spots and have a i prim pagoda
Bleu Oleander: lol
Mickorod Renard: things could be simplified and resized thouh
Aphrodite Macbain: a spotty pagoda
Mickorod Renard: thats a thought Druth
Bleu Oleander: I have made some simple versions of this that you are welcome to use until you decide what you all want
druth Vlodovic: I have seen something interesting,it is a cushion that whenever someone sits on it it makes another,so you always have one more seat than people
Bleu Oleander: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: sounds like a fairy story plot
Aphrodite Macbain: like the purse that always has money in it
Wol Euler: mmhmm, those are pretty common in clubs
Mickorod Renard: I remember big panic's over a church I used to go to..it needed so much money spending on it..i said abandone it as the church is the people not the building
Wol Euler: but they do dictate sitting positions
Bleu Oleander: I don't think you'll need anything close to 600 for the pagoda
druth Vlodovic: it has the advantage that you are never arrogant or under resourced in your gathering size prepes
Wol Euler smiles.
Aphrodite Macbain: I hate to be told how to sit
druth Vlodovic: :-P
druth Vlodovic: just wear clean underwear
Wol Euler snorts.
Mickorod Renard: has anyone seen fefonze lately?
--BELL--
Bleu Oleander: bye Aph
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye aph
Mickorod Renard: bye Aph
Wol Euler waves.
Aphrodite Macbain: byeee
Mickorod Renard: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: no sadly not in a long time, but i am so seldom in sl
Wol Euler: not in ages
Mickorod Renard: mmmm sounds like he has dropped out :(
Wol Euler: he hasn't been in SL at all since July 2013
Mickorod Renard: wow
Yakuzza Lethecus: wb druth
druth Vlodovic: ty
Mickorod Renard: I could swear I had seen him more recent than that,,mmm time flies
Yakuzza Lethecus: i got to log out now as well, good night everyone
druth Vlodovic: I have had a problem w my laptop for a while now
Wol Euler: bye yaku, enjoy the week3end
druth Vlodovic: bye yak
Mickorod Renard: bye Yaku,,regards to your family
Bleu Oleander: nice to see you Yaku
Mickorod Renard: so whats happened to Ags, is she ok?
Wol Euler: just busy, I think; she does come in from time to time
Wol Euler: I had an IM from her on the 24th
Mickorod Renard: thats cool
Wol Euler: (arrived today :)
Mickorod Renard: yes, I saw a message from her recently
Bleu Oleander: why does it take so long?
Mickorod Renard: saying would get back after the dust settles sort of
Wol Euler: bad luck; lag; my not being around earlier :)
Wol Euler smiles.
Bleu Oleander: :)
Mickorod Renard: so, tell me about the poetry sessions?
Mickorod Renard: is that sunday?
Bleu Oleander: bye all, take care
Mickorod Renard: bye Bleu
Wol Euler: I thought it was a special event for the PaB birthday, rather than a repeating theme session kind of thing
Wol Euler: but maybe I am wrong
Wol Euler: dunno
Mickorod Renard: mm I dont know
druth Vlodovic: it is intended as the april 1st birthday celebration
druth Vlodovic: or part of it
Mickorod Renard: would you know , does it have to be live mic?
druth Vlodovic: it might be interesting to do a regular "poetry" session
druth Vlodovic: no, but it would be good to be able to hear voice
Wol Euler: those who wish to can use voice, else type or cut-and-paste
Mickorod Renard: he he ...you havnt heard my voice yet
Wol Euler: or there are notecard readers
druth Vlodovic: you can type the poem, or get someone elseto read it, or read it yourself, sortofmultimedia
Mickorod Renard: ok,,maybe I had better write something up
Wol Euler smiles.
Mickorod Renard: :)
druth Vlodovic: just watch some of Vincent Price's movies and practice
Wol Euler: heheheh
Mickorod Renard: he he
druth Vlodovic: I can't make it due to work, soI am making aph read something for me
Mickorod Renard: thats nice
Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: okay, m'dears, I am going to move on. It's been a long week
Mickorod Renard: I seem to be plagued with various crisis and that always puts an end to my plans but I shall try
Wol Euler: goodnight, take care, stay safe
Wol Euler: _/|\_
Mickorod Renard: bye Wol,,I must go too
druth Vlodovic: 'night wol
Mickorod Renard: where are you from Druth?
druth Vlodovic: Ottawa
druth Vlodovic: you?
Mickorod Renard: ahh ok,,UK
Mickorod Renard: Stratford upon Avon
druth Vlodovic: lol, well, "from"is either Toronto, Eastern Ontario,or Wales and Scotland, depending on your definition of "from"
druth Vlodovic: do you go to the plays a lot?
Mickorod Renard: he he ..well i suppose same applies to me too
Mickorod Renard: parents were Welsh
druth Vlodovic: neat
druth Vlodovic: ever been?
Mickorod Renard: oh yes lots
druth Vlodovic: I'd ask which area but I haven't been since I was 14 or so
--BELL--
Mickorod Renard: I can be in wales in an hour or so
druth Vlodovic: oh, sorry, there is a place called Stratford near London Ontario
druth Vlodovic: I had you on the wrong side of the pond
Mickorod Renard: My Parents were from North wales,
druth Vlodovic: it is a big Shakespeare theme tourist town
Mickorod Renard: no worries, an easy mix up
Mickorod Renard: yes for sure,,and his plays are on here all year
druth Vlodovic: recycling, you wouldn't want to have to just throw away a good name
Mickorod Renard: he he
Mickorod Renard: I have been to Canada a couple of times
druth Vlodovic: which part?
Mickorod Renard: Toronto...victoria and....
Mickorod Renard: it will come
Mickorod Renard: starts with M
druth Vlodovic: Montreal?
Mickorod Renard: yep
druth Vlodovic: interesting town
druth Vlodovic: possibly our most "city" like lol
Mickorod Renard: to be honest i didnt spend time in Montreal
Mickorod Renard: but a while in Toronto
druth Vlodovic: sounds like quite a tour though, those places aren't next door to each other
Mickorod Renard: diferent times for diferent reasons
Mickorod Renard: In Toronto though I had time to explore
druth Vlodovic: I'm planning a tour of Italy
Mickorod Renard: yes?
druth Vlodovic: maybe see the guy in the big hat, not sure
Mickorod Renard: I have been a few times
druth Vlodovic: you ever been?
Mickorod Renard: yes
druth Vlodovic: any suggestions?
Mickorod Renard: he he
Mickorod Renard: thats a tall order
druth Vlodovic: "don't drink the water, and watch for funny coloured food on roadsides"
Mickorod Renard: stay away from the dodgy areas'
Mickorod Renard: keep your valuables safe
Mickorod Renard: the rest is nice
druth Vlodovic: I hear that a lot, but I lived in Mexico City for a year once and hardly anything happened to me
druth Vlodovic: everybody kept saying how much nicer it was than NY for that sort of thing
Mickorod Renard: I used to spend a bit of time there..these days I tend to do the tourist cities
Mickorod Renard: well..i think you just need to be worldly wise and all should be well
druth Vlodovic: how about the police there? are they safe, or do you have to watch out for them?
Mickorod Renard: I have always found them good
Mickorod Renard: italy is a big tourist place and they wouldnt want to jepardise that
druth Vlodovic: what about "must sees"
druth Vlodovic: ah, so i should just go grab a tourist book
Mickorod Renard: well,,i can only say what I have done
Mickorod Renard: venice is wonderful to see
Mickorod Renard: rome too..full of great stuff
Mickorod Renard: florence i thought was ok,,just tick of done that
Mickorod Renard: I likes assisi but maybe that was just me
druth Vlodovic: what is nice about assisi?
Mickorod Renard: I want to go and see the amalfi coast
Mickorod Renard: Just the st francis thing,,and there is some reasonable art in the churches there too,,the counrtyside is pretty
druth Vlodovic: I suppose it'd be good todevelop an interest in catholic history while visiting
druth Vlodovic: I'm moreancient rome lol
Mickorod Renard: maybe..I am not catholic..and it can be sombre and oppresive i think
--BELL--
Mickorod Renard: Rome is good..but naturally touristy
Mickorod Renard: as is most places that one tends to go
Mickorod Renard: I would like to go naples and maybe island of Capri,,but another day
Mickorod Renard: The lakes in the north are nice
druth Vlodovic: I am ok with crowds, but then I'm canadian and probably don't know what a crowd actually looks like
Mickorod Renard: how long you staying for?
druth Vlodovic: we're doing Rome and such
druth Vlodovic: just a week or so
druth Vlodovic: stillhammering out details
Mickorod Renard: ok..i think you will enjoy it much
druth Vlodovic: ah, I should go, dosupper and get ready for work
druth Vlodovic: thanks mick
druth Vlodovic: have fun
Mickorod Renard: I have travelled much,,all my life,,I am becoming a bit ..anethetised
druth Vlodovic: lucky :)
Mickorod Renard: bye have fun,,c u soon
