[14:00] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ok shall we start?

    [14:00] Qt Core: Hi Darren

[14:00] Agatha Macbeth: Go for it

    [14:00] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes

    PavilionNo3a.jpg

[14:01] Bleu (bleu.oleander): Thank you Xiri for designing a pavilion for our project. A lovely offering.

The working group has been compiling a list of points to consider when appraising the various pavilions and choosing which one we like best. The list can be seen here:

    http://wiki.playasbeing.org/Events/PAVILION_PROJECT_2015

    [14:01] Agatha Macbeth: Aha

[14:01] Bleu (bleu.oleander): The last point on the list, SYMBOLISM, MEANING, METAPHOR, REFERENCES TO PaB TRADITIONS/HISTORY, should probably be our first point of discussion. So lets ask the pavilion designer, what inspired this pavilion design … are there textures and design motifs that have meaning to the designer, for the larger group, for PaB traditions? Xiri, what inspired you when designing your pavilion?

[14:02] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): my inspiration has been people ..so pabbers, which for me is the most important when I come to this pavilion

    [14:02] Agatha Macbeth nods

    [14:02] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

    [14:02] Bleu (bleu.oleander): :)

[14:03] Bleu (bleu.oleander): (not necessary to mind the bells for this)

[14:03] Agatha Macbeth: The bells the bells!

[14:03] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I have not thought of PaB tradition..unless gathering is considered also a tradition :)

[14:04] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) waves to stevenaia

    [14:04] Agatha Macbeth: Hello Steve

    [14:04] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I explain how I have proceded

[14:04] Bleu (bleu.oleander): hi Steve, we just started

    [14:04] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hello Steve! :)

[14:04] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I’ve tried to create a building in which myself feel comfortable to converse with others. I’ve used warm colors and wood, transparencies to let the light come in, and nature can be perceived through it. Also, it gives me the feeling of a open space but also closed space...in Adams words: “It is closed-in and not closed-in at the same time”. I’ve just played with circles and squares looking for simplicity of lines. I’ve tried to create a place that is warm, peacefull, fresh, illuminated, spacious and proportioned. Few prims are used for the building, 18, 7 for the fountain. I did buy one and have modified it just using the water fountain. And 24 cushions, 24 prims.

    [14:04] stevenaia Michinaga: waves

[14:05] Bleu (bleu.oleander): would you like to say any more Xiri?

    [14:05] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): well..not at the moment :)

[14:05] Bleu (bleu.oleander): shall we go around clockwise ... who wants to start?

[14:06] Bleu (bleu.oleander): I can if no one wants to

    [14:06] Wol Euler: I guess it's you

    [14:06] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ok

    [14:06] Bruce (bruce.mowbray): !

[14:06] Bleu (bleu.oleander): I’ll use the basic framework we have come up with to express my feelings about this pavilion.

    FEELING OVERALL AMBIANCE

I feel an overall welcoming when approaching this pavilion. It feels conducive to conversation. the site lines looking out from within and looking in from without work for me.

    BOUNDARY

your translucent screens at the four corners provides a feeling of a container and does form a boundary around the space

    STRUCTURE

the structure is a pleasing design and feels a bit reminiscent of our original pavilion.

the scale seems ok for me and the building sits well in the space. I like the textures and colors with the possible toning down of the orange tile shade just a bit … but that’s a personal preference and is affected by many variables … versions of SL viewer, wind lights, brightness settings, etc.

While I would like to thank Sun for these cushions, I don’t really like them for our purposes here, however that’s an easy fix and might be considered separately at some point. Perhaps we can agree on about 4-6 poses that provide a range of feelings, from static to animated, and from formal to casual. I don’t think we need more than about 12 cushions for the pavilion. The builders group is going to design a space for the larger meetings and there we can have more seats.

    FOUNTAIN / CENTRAL FOCAL POINT

I like the moving clouds reflection in the pool … I would prefer a gentler fountain spray with some fountain/water sound. Sound can be easily adjusted individually for loudness. But I would like the option to hear water sounds, as that give me a calming feeling and reinforces the illusion of the particles actually feeling like a fountain.

    LIGHTING / mood / brightness

When I looked at this pavilion at midnight view, I did suggest that Xiri add a light for night viewing enhancement, which she did. I think its important to view these pavilions at day and night settings … not all possible wind lights, because there are too many of those, but at least the 2 main SL ones. Night time can be a great opportunity to set a mood with lighting that is different from day light and provides some variety for those of us who use time of day lighting settings.

Thank you again Xiri ! Overall I find this pavilion very pleasing :)

[14:08] Bleu (bleu.oleander): done ... shall we go clockwise?

    [14:08] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): nice. nods

    [14:08] Bruce (bruce.mowbray): Qt?

[14:09] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thank you very much, Bleu! :)

    [14:09] Bleu (bleu.oleander): yw!

    [14:09] Qt Core: ok

[14:09] Qt Core: a less structured answer ;;-)

    [14:09] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :)

    [14:09] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ok :)

[14:10] Qt Core: in the beginning i thought the four transparent angles would disturb cam movement and placing

[14:10] Qt Core: but they are just transparent so they are nice and keep the space enclosed

[14:11] Qt Core: water sound and a more realistic water (have't noticed they were clouds...)

[14:11] Qt Core: i really like its simplicity and clean lines

    [14:11] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes...clouds reflected from the sky .... :)

[14:12] Qt Core: on a practical level i agree with less animations for the cushions and maybe a one click seating

    [14:12] Qt Core: done :-)

    [14:12] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

    [14:12] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty Qt

    [14:12] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thank you Qt! :)

    [14:13] Qt Core: Eliza ?

[14:13] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Okay I'll go... will try to be a little structured in comments but not quite as much as Bleu :)

    [14:13] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): ok:)

    [14:13] Bleu (bleu.oleander): :)

[14:13] Agatha Macbeth ponders a structured Liz

    [14:13] Bleu (bleu.oleander): hehe

[14:13] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): First I want to say that I've wanted to spend more time here than I've been able to, but did come this morning for a while and just sat in the space to gather impressions

[14:14] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): it is very much 'my' taste.. the wood tones and the rice paper feel

[14:14] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): it is modern and nonintrusive, at least the build on the whole, and the approach

[14:15] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): appreciate the dome a lot, which 'feels' musical to me

[14:15] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): as though I can hear tones in conversations

[14:15] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): which is an odd thing to say

[14:15] Agatha Macbeth: No it isn't

[14:15] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): but the best I can do to describe that there is a kind of hollow or...something

[14:15] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :) ah, okay thanks Aggers

[14:15] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): When Bleu mentioned the cushions and the orange, I nodded

    [14:15] Agatha Macbeth: YW dear

[14:16] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): the floor is a little busy for me

[14:16] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): especially since the rest is so peaceful

[14:16] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): and open, breezy, elegant

[14:16] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): do like the sound of fountain

    [14:16] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): done

[14:16] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): beautiful work, Xiri

    [14:16] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thank you Eliza :)

[14:17] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty! love the musical reference!

    [14:17] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): me too :))

    [14:17] leaping Panther (darren.islar): :)

[14:17] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I was surprised to feel the sounds too

[14:18] Bleu (bleu.oleander): now that you said it ... I can't stop hearing it :)

    [14:18] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) smiles

    [14:18] Bleu (bleu.oleander): Aggers?

[14:18] Agatha Macbeth: I think everything about it is just right...I love the colours

[14:18] Agatha Macbeth: The first two seemed functional whereas this feels more human so to speak

[14:19] Agatha Macbeth: And I love the openness

[14:19] Agatha Macbeth: Definitely my favorite so far

    [14:19] Agatha Macbeth: Done :P

    [14:19] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

    [14:19] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty Aggers

    [14:19] Agatha Macbeth: YW

    [14:19] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thanks Aga! :)

    [14:19] Agatha Macbeth hugz Xira

    [14:20] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hugz back :)

    [14:20] Bleu (bleu.oleander): Darren?

    [14:20] leaping Panther (darren.islar): yep

[14:20] leaping Panther (darren.islar): It's a nice, open pavilion and it immediately had an easing effect on me.

[14:21] leaping Panther (darren.islar): The proportions seem to be alright, the way the circles work with the squares is doing it for me

[14:21] leaping Panther (darren.islar): The clouds were a nice surprise to me when I started to look better. the doors create nice windows on the outside especially towards the private plots.

[14:21] leaping Panther (darren.islar): The cushions already have been discussed and I would prefer less fidgety animations

[14:22] leaping Panther (darren.islar): To me it might be a bit too simple, and I'm not referring to it's simplicity since I like that :) Hard to say what I really mean, maybe it is some sort of warmth I miss

[14:22] leaping Panther (darren.islar): As a builder I would like to suggest you have a look at the prims on the side, some don't add up if it comes to the repeats in textures, but that is a simple thing to adjust

[14:23] leaping Panther (darren.islar): all in all I think a good pavilion for us to use and something about it which makes it work for PaB and it's discussions very well

    [14:23] leaping Panther (darren.islar): thanks

    [14:23] leaping Panther (darren.islar): that's it

    [14:23] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

    [14:23] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty Darren

    [14:23] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thanks Darren

    [14:24] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): you're right about textures..I take note!!

[14:24] leaping Panther (darren.islar): please do, because since I knew it is getting on my nerves ;)

    [14:24] Bleu (bleu.oleander): lol

    [14:24] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): ok :))

    [14:24] leaping Panther (darren.islar): *since I noticed

    [14:24] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): lol :P

    [14:24] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I understand:))

[14:24] Bleu (bleu.oleander): hazard of being a builder hehe

    [14:25] leaping Panther (darren.islar): fraid so :)

    [14:25] Bleu (bleu.oleander): Steve?

[14:25] stevenaia Michinaga: thanks, ... I like the overall sense of space

[14:25] stevenaia Michinaga: I like the open roof and the translucency of the material there, and especially like the opening at the center (for my exit)

    [14:26] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

    [14:26] Bleu (bleu.oleander): lol

    [14:26] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :))

    [14:26] leaping Panther (darren.islar): hehe

[14:26] stevenaia Michinaga: translucent panels seems to me a bit more “modern and rigid” rather than comfortable, preference would be translucent “fabric” or  patterned screen for a similar affect

[14:26] stevenaia Michinaga: as a suggestion

[14:26] stevenaia Michinaga: The fountain seems a bit ”edgy” for me,  looks for something softer for a water container, the clouds could splash at the corners and get me wet.

[14:27] stevenaia Michinaga: I like the floor material  and the angled corners within the square base and the views from inside

[14:27] stevenaia Michinaga: Pillow poses are always a tough one, perhaps we can each choose a preference so our personal favorite aren’t left out

[14:27] stevenaia Michinaga: The quarry outside perimeter is a bit out of scale for me, would prefer a smaller grid or different edge material.

[14:27] stevenaia Michinaga: A breeze blowing through would be nice :)

    [14:28] stevenaia Michinaga: done

    [14:28] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thank Steve! :)

    [14:28] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): s

    [14:28] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty Steve

    [14:28] Bleu (bleu.oleander): Bruce?

[14:29] Bruce (bruce.mowbray): I like everything about this pavilion -- its simplicity of form, compatible colors, welcoming openness and light, its being tall enough to maneuver camera with ease, how it aligns with the landscape and the walkway to the homes -- the harmonious counterpoint (dialogue?) of circles and squares  - - -

[14:29] Bruce (bruce.mowbray): I really have no suggestions for improvement.  Well done, Xir!

    [14:29] Bruce (bruce.mowbray): [done]

[14:29] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thank you very much, Bruce :)

[14:29] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) nods re height

[14:29] Bruce (bruce.mowbray): thank you, Xir!

    [14:29] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty Bruce

[14:29] stevenaia Michinaga: and that bird....

    [14:30] Bleu (bleu.oleander): San?

[14:30] San (santoshima): ok, no wait for the bell?

    [14:31] Bleu (bleu.oleander): don't need to

[14:31] San (santoshima): congratulations Xir on making this space. the way you describe it ... what you aimed for has been achieved. it's welcoming, open, warm colours

[14:31] San (santoshima): the overall effect is something like a grand gazebo for a garden

[14:31] San (santoshima): i don't have anything new to add.

[14:31] San (santoshima): the things others have noted i would note:

[14:32] San (santoshima): textures need some fixing and refining

[14:32] San (santoshima): the floor seems busy

[14:32] San (santoshima): the circles unnecessary

[14:32] San (santoshima): cushions ... need some test runs to refine

[14:32] San (santoshima): but that has been for all so far

[14:32] San (santoshima): the fountain is the only thing, main thing i think doesn't work

[14:32] San (santoshima): for me anyway

[14:33] San (santoshima): i find too many patterns there

[14:33] San (santoshima): and it doesn't seem fountain enough

    [14:33] San (santoshima): water effects

[14:33] San (santoshima): i would prefer round

[14:33] San (santoshima): but those are really insignificant

    [14:33] San (santoshima): it's a lovely space

    [14:33] San (santoshima): that's all

    [14:33] San (santoshima): ty

    [14:33] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty San

[14:33] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thank you San!

    [14:33] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) nods

[14:34] Riddle Sideways: The group has already covered all the points :)

[14:34] Riddle Sideways: Oh, need to echo that this is beautiful, Xir

[14:34] Riddle Sideways: in the use of sqares AND circles

    [14:34] Riddle Sideways: Historically,

[14:35] Riddle Sideways: The first two sapces were rectanglar almost squares

[14:35] Riddle Sideways: even the moat

[14:35] Riddle Sideways: The third and longest was round with many circles in circles

[14:35] Riddle Sideways: This one incorporates both.

[14:36] Riddle Sideways: was is different

[14:36] Riddle Sideways: started out Being unsettling

    [14:36] Riddle Sideways: then grew

[14:36] Riddle Sideways: so is really hard to see any difficulties mixing them

[14:37] Riddle Sideways: BTW - in midnight light the 4 transparents are more like murals

    [14:37] Riddle Sideways: done

    [14:37] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thanks Rid! :)

    [14:37] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty Riddle

[14:37] stevenaia Michinaga: yes, nice lighting at night

    [14:38] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): agree....just changed

    [14:38] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): lovely

    [14:38] Agatha Macbeth: Ah yes

    [14:38] Bleu (bleu.oleander): Wol?

[14:38] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): there is some secret prim Bleu has put here to improve night light :)

    [14:38] Wol Euler smiles.

    [14:38] Bleu (bleu.oleander): hehe

    [14:38] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) grins

[14:38] Bleu (bleu.oleander): (will show you later)

    [14:38] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :)

    [14:38] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): magic?

    [14:39] Agatha Macbeth: Bleu magic

    [14:39] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

    [14:39] Riddle Sideways: :)

    [14:39] Bleu (bleu.oleander): :)

[14:39] Wol Euler: I'm sorry to end on a negative note, and I'll try to keep it upbeat, because I don't dislike this. I'd be quite happy to sit here if this were the popular choice.

[14:40] Wol Euler: however, I find it overlarge and somehow "flat", it feels like we are meeting in an empty warehouse. I find the fountain lacking in wetness.

[14:40] Wol Euler: and I'm afraid that I don't like the tiles at all. I find them uncomfortable against the softer natural finishes elsewhere. I#

[14:41] Wol Euler: I would wish them to be stone or also wood

[14:41] Wol Euler: but as I say, I don't dislike it. And since I seem to be alone in these opinions, let's just write them down as "one dissenting voice" and carry on :)

[14:41] Wol Euler: good work, Xira.

[14:42] Agatha Macbeth: Sunset is awesome

    [14:42] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): Thanks Wol! :)

[14:42] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): incorporating stone elements would be really nice actually

[14:42] San (santoshima): good suggestions, Wol

[14:42] Riddle Sideways: ty Wol, like the US court system

    [14:42] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ty Wol

[14:42] Bleu (bleu.oleander): Xiri ... or anyone have any more thoughts or questions?

    [14:43] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) thinks

[14:44] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I just really like the idea of stone instead of tile, and more breeze effects. the flowers compliment this space so well

[14:44] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I will play with some different textures this last week...to see how it 'fit' to the dissenting voices :)

[14:44] Bleu (bleu.oleander): landscaping will be the building group

[14:44] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): what do you mean by 'breezy efects'?

[14:44] stevenaia Michinaga: the roof texture is a bit strange from the outside, not quite sure what it is

[14:44] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I think this pavilion turns my attention to the outside a little more than the others have

[14:45] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): to the surroundings

[14:45] San (santoshima): not dissenting, responses and design suggestions aren't dissent

    [14:45] Agatha Macbeth nods

[14:45] stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps a blowing fabric

[14:45] stevenaia Michinaga: or russilling branches

[14:45] Agatha Macbeth: Yes that's wonderful

[14:45] Bleu (bleu.oleander): can be in the landscaping :)

[14:45] Wol Euler: yes, I would like to suggest "real curtains" for the sides, think of the opening scene of The Great Gatsby where Nick finds Daisy and Jordan lying on sofas in that open breezy room, with the huge lacey curtans blowing past them

    [14:45] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): yes

    [14:45] stevenaia Michinaga: softly

    [14:46] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): (re landscaping)

    [14:46] Bleu (bleu.oleander) is a fan of curtains :)

[14:46] stevenaia Michinaga: with a script to blow everyone out of the pavillion if the conversation need to end quickly

[14:46] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I was refering to Wol, San ..she has told herself '"one dissenting voice"

[14:47] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I may be the biggest fan of the rice paper nod

    [14:47] San (santoshima): understood

[14:47] San (santoshima): was responding to both

[14:47] leaping Panther (darren.islar): I agree with Stevenia's suggestions on the transparants and the tiles outside

    [14:47] Wol Euler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz3ln3dXBxM

[14:47] leaping Panther (darren.islar): as also to the flatness, but that seems to be essential in this design

[14:48] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I will have to review all your suggestions slowly :)

[14:48] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :) the main thing seems to be that there is a nice basis here.. the subtle curves in the wood, I really like too

    [14:48] Wol Euler nods.

[14:48] Bleu (bleu.oleander): what do you all think of cushions .... shall we choose poses at a later time after we have chosen the pavilion? let the designer come up with the pillow design but incorporate our favorite poses?

[14:48] leaping Panther (darren.islar): just trying to support suggestions made so you know how many would agree on those points

[14:48] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): everyone seems to have the same feelings about the cushions, to varying degrees

[14:48] San (santoshima): cushions we can review later.

[14:48] San (santoshima): placement is what we are seeing here

    [14:48] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) nods

[14:48] San (santoshima): since all the samples have so far ued these cushions

[14:49] leaping Panther (darren.islar): I have my own pillows, used the ones we also use for original face before and will use new ones in my new design

[14:49] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes...Adams too did not like the cushions

    [14:49] stevenaia Michinaga: I need Bleu's pose

[14:49] leaping Panther (darren.islar): nto mine San

[14:49] leaping Panther (darren.islar): I used my own

[14:49] Bleu (bleu.oleander): I changed these a bit for mine

[14:49] Bleu (bleu.oleander): and added a static one

[14:50] Bleu (bleu.oleander): easy to do

[14:50] Riddle Sideways: for you :)

[14:50] San (santoshima): can we review cushions in a separate test run? time to be determined?

    [14:50] Wol Euler: good idea

[14:50] Bleu (bleu.oleander): maybe the designer can design the pillow and we can add poses later?

[14:50] leaping Panther (darren.islar): yes, I suggest we let the cushions be for now and decide at teh end

[14:50] Bleu (bleu.oleander): design of cushions is important tho

[14:50] Bleu (bleu.oleander): poses can be changed

[14:50] leaping Panther (darren.islar): it is, it's why I created my own

[14:51] Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes me too for the next one :)

[14:51] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) is so impressed by artistry in the group

[14:51] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): how do you feel with two rows of cushions for the pavilion...I think Bleu has told she thinks one is enough

[14:51] Bleu (bleu.oleander): and I'm happy to help anyone with cushions and/or poses :)

    [14:52] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I like one row

[14:52] Bleu (bleu.oleander): do we ever have 12 people at a session?

[14:52] San (santoshima): two rows, good. circle rings, not necessary

[14:52] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): if there are other options for overflow

[14:52] San (santoshima): some people like to sit in the back row

[14:52] stevenaia Michinaga: some people like the second row

    [14:52] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ah ok

[14:52] leaping Panther (darren.islar): I like two, even if we don't use the second row :)

    [14:52] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): true

[14:52] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): 'circle rings'...you mean the wood ones below?

    [14:52] stevenaia Michinaga: snap

[14:52] Bruce (bruce.mowbray): Kori is a back row gal....

[14:52] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): actually especially shyer visitors

[14:52] San (santoshima): yes, the wood rings

    [14:52] Agatha Macbeth: 10 now, that's close :p

[14:52] San (santoshima): they are unnecessary

    [14:52] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): ok

[14:53] leaping Panther (darren.islar): as a matter of fact I thought of taking a cushion in teh backrow today :)

[14:53] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I like them ... and for me it is like a kind of chair for the cushions

[14:53] Agatha Macbeth: A la Korel

    [14:53] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

[14:53] San (santoshima): they are too blunt

    [14:53] stevenaia Michinaga: nods

    [14:53] San (santoshima): in appearance

[14:53] San (santoshima): no fineness to them

[14:53] San (santoshima): ah, i am joining Wol in the – department :)

[14:54] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): hard for me to say... it is the combination of things on the floor that feels busy to me, but no one part begs revision

[14:54] leaping Panther (darren.islar): I liek the wood rings

    [14:54] Agatha Macbeth: Me too

[14:54] stevenaia Michinaga: perhap try them flush

[14:54] leaping Panther (darren.islar): maybe a different kind of wood, but something that isn't too obvious though liek these

    [14:54] San (santoshima): yes

[14:54] Bleu (bleu.oleander): can you lift the one wood ring up to see it Xiri?

[14:54] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): or one thicker ring rather than two thin ones

[14:55] San (santoshima): or make it just one ring with two rows

    [14:55] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): now?

    [14:55] San (santoshima): nope

    [14:55] San (santoshima): not necessary

    [14:55] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ok

[14:55] San (santoshima): with the complicated fountain the floor becomes the focus

[14:55] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) is again impressed with the graciousness of feedback reception (((Xiri))) thank you so much

    [14:55] Wol Euler nods.

[14:55] San (santoshima): the fountain should be centre of focus

[14:56] San (santoshima): and the gathering around that

[14:56] San (santoshima): if there is a fountain at all

[14:56] San (santoshima): cirle is unifying

[14:56] Wol Euler: I like fountains.

[14:56] San (santoshima): square is stabilizing

[14:56] San (santoshima): doesn't work here

[14:56] San (santoshima): i ike fountains

    [14:56] San (santoshima): to

    [14:56] San (santoshima): o

[14:56] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): water element seems important to me too

    [14:56] Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes

[14:56] San (santoshima): one ofe teh best design things in sl

[14:57] Bleu (bleu.oleander): maybe add your sprinkler Eliza hehe

[14:57] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): and I like that everyone seems to keep fael's flower

    [14:57] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): hha Bleu

    [14:57] Agatha Macbeth: Yay

[14:57] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): sprinkler party fridays

[14:57] Bleu (bleu.oleander): do we need to keep the flower?

[14:57] Riddle Sideways: oooooooooooooooooo the sprinkler

[14:57] Bleu (bleu.oleander): as a nod to tradition?

[14:57] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): not need but I feel sentimental toward it

    [14:57] Agatha Macbeth nods

[14:57] Riddle Sideways: um, the flower is the spy recording device

[14:57] leaping Panther (darren.islar): my new desing won't have a flower not a fountain

[14:57] Bleu (bleu.oleander): could the flower be somewhere else?

    [14:57] leaping Panther (darren.islar): *nor

[14:58] Agatha Macbeth: Yes isn't it part of the recorder?

[14:58] Wol Euler: well the software is what makes it work. The appearance is totally fungible.

[14:58] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): but there is nothing off limits to change I think

[14:58] Bleu (bleu.oleander): or do we want to keep it where it is?

[14:58] leaping Panther (darren.islar): yeah that's the problem ... Wol, we need to talk :)

    [14:58] Wol Euler: so talk

    [14:58] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

[14:58] Wol Euler: or better, make a new one

[14:58] Wol Euler: for your pavilion

[14:58] Riddle Sideways: it likes to be the center of conversation

[14:58] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ah ok ... wheels start turning :)

[14:58] Wol Euler: I thought that was understood?

[14:58] leaping Panther (darren.islar): if the flower contains the recorder I take it you can change that Wol?

    [14:59] Wol Euler: of course

[14:59] Bleu (bleu.oleander): I thought we had to keep it ... silly me

[14:59] Wol Euler: it must be visible so people can click on it comfortably, but that is the only requirement

[14:59] Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes of course

[14:59] Wol Euler: I'*m pretty sure I did say that when we began

[14:59] Bleu (bleu.oleander): must have missed that :)

[14:59] Agatha Macbeth: Reiteration never hurts

[14:59] leaping Panther (darren.islar): oh could be, my memory isn't what it used tobe

[15:00] Wol Euler: anyway: knock yourselves out.

    [15:00] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)

    [15:00] Riddle Sideways: why?

[15:00] Agatha Macbeth: me hits herself with a hammer

[15:00] Bleu (bleu.oleander): ok so Xiri you could re-design if you want to and add it this week?

[15:00] leaping Panther (darren.islar): better not I still need to put in some work and that's hard when being knocked out

[15:00] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) hears reverberating gong

[15:01] Agatha Macbeth: That's the bell Liz

[15:01] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): wel...I will try to do my best, but it is not easy ... I am not too skilled building

[15:01] Agatha Macbeth: You're still way better than me! :p

[15:01] Bleu (bleu.oleander): we are all learning ... and willing to help

    [15:01] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :))

[15:01] Agatha Macbeth: I can't build for crap

[15:01] leaping Panther (darren.islar): people of the buildersgroup can help Xir

    [15:02] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes...for sure I will ask for help :)

    [15:02] leaping Panther (darren.islar): ok :)

    [15:02] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :)

[15:02] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) has sort of hoped that someone will have a fire pit option

    [15:02] Wol Euler: !

[15:02] leaping Panther (darren.islar): actually I have Eliza

[15:02] Bleu (bleu.oleander): fire not water?

[15:03] leaping Panther (darren.islar): in my next design

    [15:03] Bleu (bleu.oleander): oh nice!

[15:03] Agatha Macbeth: Will look like Rhi's place then :p

[15:03] Riddle Sideways: still stuck on fungible flowers

[15:03] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): well not getting rid of the water but having an ability to have fire at night sometimes

[15:03] Bleu (bleu.oleander): which will be installed on July 15th ... nice segue

[15:03] leaping Panther (darren.islar): though I think water will work better, but we'll see

[15:03] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) giggles at Riddle

[15:03] leaping Panther (darren.islar): I mean it's also to try out options

[15:03] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I wouldn't want it to replace water, personally

[15:03] stevenaia Michinaga: I often take rides on Rhi's spit

[15:03] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): but I can think of nighttime sessions where it would have felt appropriate mood wise

    [15:04] Bleu (bleu.oleander): lol steve

[15:04] leaping Panther (darren.islar): yes no water

    [15:04] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): nice to play :)

[15:04] leaping Panther (darren.islar): maybe in the final design we can make options

    [15:04] Eliza (eliza.madrigal) nods

[15:04] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): nice how the conversation is evolving

[15:04] Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes I like these sessions

[15:05] Riddle Sideways: go back to 3 levels of fountain size/height

[15:06] Riddle Sideways: gotta go, folks

[15:06] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): thank you Xiri, Bleu, everyone :)

[15:06] Bleu (bleu.oleander): so all for now?

[15:06] Bleu (bleu.oleander): thank you all!

[15:06] leaping Panther (darren.islar): that requires programming

    [15:06] Agatha Macbeth: Bye Rid

[15:06] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): byr Rid:) thanks to all

[15:06] Bleu (bleu.oleander): and thank you Xiri !!

[15:06] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): (((playasbeing))) Night All

[15:06] stevenaia Michinaga: thank you Xirana

    [15:06] Bleu (bleu.oleander): night all

[15:06] Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): thanks to you too Bleu! :)

    [15:06] Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :::claps::: indeed

Sorry I missed this. Just sat in the pavilion for a half hour. Felt good to be there. A musing on the pond boundary rectangles... Maybe calling for a circle, even within a square... something along the lines of "the essence has no edges". Maybe that's part of its wetness. "Let it be known there is a fountain / That was not built by the hands of men" (Ripple). Just lovely, Xiri! :-)
