Excused from Jury Duty reminding me that EVERY day is a gift.

Last days of the darkening of the light before the solstice. Early morning, birds chirping. Joy.

Going through the last days comments, musing a while, full of admirations. Thankful too, for "over and above" computer repairs made without price adjustments. I have my quotes, apostrophes, and delete capabilities back! :)

Grateful that I had the time, and the presence of mind, and the support of friends - to work on my presentation "Understanding Shame" -- not even due until May 16th 2015, when I will present it to a group in Circleville, Ohio. I'm feeling right now that I've collected and put into writing what I HAD to say, and that the rest will merely be honing. edited 03:08, 18 Dec 2014

Thankful to hear what what others work on...what others notice...
Appreciative of having honed the performance of messiah over many sings.
A new conductor these past two years has been a learning curve since it is body memory from
years past. The is a lot to attend to when something is done in a new way. It is a joy to know every note. A sense of mastery...for a person who does not have that in many areas.i watched the violins and thought about how they had played this, sung the long song in unity so many times...one kind of enters a zone:)
