Buddha Nirvana was wearing a glowing red light of some kind. It was actually very pretty, like looking into the sunset on the water. He was his own mood candle, sort of.

    Adelene Dawner: He's not rezzed yet, for me.
    Adelene Dawner: oh... yes he is... having highlight transparent on doesn't work with that glow, apparently.

    Adelene Dawner: Buddha has a bright red shiny aura thing today - it's particle based, so you might not be able to see it.

We were surprised to learn that there was little significance to Buddha's roseate glow.

    buddha Nirvana: im sure they're there, though
    Eliza Madrigal: I know what colors conjure as far as feelings, but not sure what "official" folks might say :))
    Adelene Dawner hmms and grins a little, reminded of what she was telling Pila about synesthesia the other day.

    Pila Mulligan: I wonder if there was a large survey of color and associated feelings, etc, what red would signify

(There have been many surveys, but Cailin Boyle’s book "Color Harmony for the Web” states that red signifies danger, excitement, fire, passion, blood, or fight or flight.     Pila Mulligan: and I just came from a store where a dozen teenage girls were in a group eating ice cream

    Pila Mulligan: here's an odd topic: favorite recipes -- any interest?
    Eliza Madrigal: Sure
    Pila Mulligan: I just made a creamy garlic sauce that is cool
    Pila Mulligan: take a clove of garlic and clean off the skins
    Sylectra Darwin: How about dumplings with tofu cream sauce?
    Pila Mulligan: sounds good Sylectra
    Pila Mulligan: put lime juice in the the garlic
    Pila Mulligan: fill about a third of the blender container with the lime juice
    Pila Mulligan: blend them until the garlic is mixed with the lime
    Pila Mulligan: then *slowly* add olive oil
    Pila Mulligan: with the blender at high speed
    Pila Mulligan: if you get the right mix, it is like a hollandaise sauce, very creamy
    Eliza Madrigal: Quite a lot of lime, but sounds terrific
    Eliza Madrigal: I'm surprised by that
    Sylectra Darwin: That sounds great, Pila!
    Pila Mulligan: otherwise it may be a little oily
    Pila Mulligan: it is yummy, use for making other sauces or anything
    Pila Mulligan: salad dressing ... :)

    Pila Mulligan: how about the dumplings with tofu cream sauce Sylectra?

    Sylectra Darwin: Well, you buy the veggie dumplings and steam them or saute them.
    Sylectra Darwin: You get some silken tofu and blend in the blender with some tamari or soy sauce.
    Eliza Madrigal: MM Like these...simple :)

    Pila Mulligan: yes, heated spinach for sure, but lettuce would lose its texture it seems
    buddha Nirvana: not so much, it stays intact..

    Pila Mulligan: popcorn is fun on salad when you have no croutons

    buddha Nirvana: try some tomatoes, they heat up very nicely
