Adelene Dawner: Hi Steve ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: is the fountain going to rezz or is it safe to sit there
Adelene Dawner: I hid it, go ahead ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: reminded me I must tend to Laundry in a bit
stevenaia Michinaga: Hi Pema
Adelene Dawner: Me, too.
Adelene Dawner: Hiya Pem ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: pema's here let;s let him do it
Pema Pera: Hi Adelene and Steve!
Adelene Dawner: hehehe
Pema Pera: do what?
stevenaia Michinaga: hello, we were jsut looking for someone to do our laundry
stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Pema Pera: I actually like doing the laundry
Pema Pera: (with a machine, that is)
Pema Pera: nicely relaxing to fold all my T shirts . . .
Pema Pera: rather than looking at a computer screen :)
Adelene Dawner: Trade ya. ^.^
Pema Pera: Hi Buddha!
stevenaia Michinaga: I have some sort of folding genetic defect
Pema Pera: sounds dangerous Steve,
Pema Pera: I hope it doesn't affect the protein folding in your genes . . . .
stevenaia Michinaga: intend of treasurering and nurturing it
Pema Pera: on ours?
Adelene Dawner: Steve: http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-...olding-machine
Pema Pera: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I'd rather have them folded out of love, not by some machine
Adelene Dawner shrugs, nods.
stevenaia Michinaga: what part of the world are you in pema?
Pema Pera: in Manhattan
Pema Pera: at home, for a change
stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Pema Pera: sorry, distracted by the blue spire arising
Pema Pera: wonder what is happening . . . .
Adelene Dawner grins.
stevenaia Michinaga: what are you making Ade?
Adelene Dawner: I've been playing with a new script - check out what happens when you bump into it a few times. ^.^
Pema Pera having second thoughtst about bumping into blue obelisks . . . .
buddha Nirvana: i read today that 40% of the earth is quartz
Adelene Dawner glitters. ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: ok, you knocked it over
stevenaia Michinaga: it makes you all glittery, Ade?
Adelene Dawner: Storm's facelight makes the glitter hard to see :( but when you bump into it, you glitter for a while. :)
Pema Pera: ah!
Pema Pera: I see
Pema Pera: it rubs off?
stevenaia Michinaga: appearance rubs off
Adelene Dawner: Something like that ^.^
Pema Pera: appears to rub off
Adelene Dawner nods ^.^
Pema Pera: Buddha, I keep seeing many messages about all your activities in SL
Adelene Dawner is pleased with the smoothness of the color change, too. ^.^
Pema Pera: is it mostly guiding meditations, or also lectures or other activities?
Pema Pera being mesmerized by the now green obelisk . . . .
Pema Pera: Hi Neela!
stevenaia Michinaga: hello Neela
Pema Pera: so nice to see you again!!
Adelene Dawner: 'lo Nee ^.^
Neela Blaisdale: Hi everyone
buddha Nirvana: hi neela :)
Neela Blaisdale: Good to see you all too!
Neela Blaisdale: What is the green obelisk?
Adelene Dawner: Almost exactly what it appear to be, though a bit flakier than it looks at first glance ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: a very pleasent distraction
Pema Pera: [19:10] Pema Pera: Buddha, I keep seeing many messages about all your activities in SL [19:10] Pema Pera: is it mostly guiding meditations, or also lectures or other activities?
Neela Blaisdale: :) the wisdom of Sqee
Pema Pera: (Buddha seems to have returned to nirvana again....)
Neela Blaisdale: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: Ade, I have 2 spots in my Wednesday log for Suees comments, unfortunately I didn;t log the meeting and they don;t appear in the auto-log, can you fill them in or get them to me from your log?
Pema Pera: maybe we should make squee a guardian?
Adelene Dawner: Sure, Steve. And I've been thinking for a while that it'd be nice to have a listener for him, Pem.
Adelene Dawner: So he goes in the logs.
Pema Pera: how's life, Neela?
Neela Blaisdale: A little hectic lately
Pema Pera: do you find a few seconds here and there to stop and take a deep breath, in the hecticness, with or without the 9-sec?
buddha Nirvana: sorry, im back from my travels..
Pema Pera: :-)
buddha Nirvana: its mainly led meditation,
Pema Pera: back into samsara?
buddha Nirvana: then a reflection on 'right understanding'
Neela Blaisdale: yes but sometimes I find it's hard not to get caught up in automatic behaviors
buddha Nirvana: f'arid so
buddha Nirvana: 'fraid so*
buddha Nirvana: ah, its not so bad
Pema Pera: oh yes, that is the hardest thing, Neela . . . . what do you find to be the best method to prevent that?
Neela Blaisdale: remembering to breathe...
stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Neela Blaisdale: brings me back to the moment
Pema Pera: yeah, that's why a 15-minute clock is perhaps a good idea . . .
Pema Pera: . . . although I myself try to roughly remember the 15-minutes intervals myself
Neela Blaisdale: yes, maybe I need to set my phone alarm for that for a while
Pema Pera: yeah, I've thought about that too, but then you have to remember to turn it off in public
Pema Pera: or you can use the vibrator mod
Pema Pera: mode
Neela Blaisdale: so it becomes automatic to do that...if I could make the stopping automatic
Pema Pera: but then you have to check each time whether it was a phone call or a hole in your habits :-)
Pema Pera thinking about particle effects in RL every 15 minutes
Neela Blaisdale: unless you use a different sound... will ahve to explore that...maybe just 1 beep or so
Pema Pera: interesting idea!
stevenaia Michinaga: brb, a Laundry
Pema Pera: or an oldfashioned hour glass . . . .
stevenaia Michinaga: afk
Pema Pera: Steve even took a folding posture . . .
Neela Blaisdale: Also I use the red dots...which are little tiny paper dots that I have placed in view particularly in places likely to induce stress..like my computer at work
Neela Blaisdale: so when I see one I remeber to stop
Pema Pera: ah, what a neat idea!
Neela Blaisdale: someone I spoke to about this wondered if she could put one on a person who caused her some stress:)
Neela Blaisdale: also I sometimes wearing a particular object, like a ring or so that is designated a reminder also
Pema Pera: :)
Neela Blaisdale: anything red is particularly good since we already associate that with stopping
Pema Pera seeing Neela with his mind's eye walking around with a red paint gun . . . .
Adelene Dawner: hehehehe
Neela Blaisdale: :)
Neela Blaisdale: not a bad idea......
Pema Pera: and a yellow one and a green one, I s'pose
Neela Blaisdale: the rainbow gun
Pema Pera: I think I'm going to try to get some early sleep tonite.
Neela Blaisdale: well certain colors make people feel certain ways
Pema Pera: Good seeing you all!
Adelene Dawner: 'night, Pem ^.^
Neela Blaisdale: Night Pema good to see you
Pema Pera: bye everybody, bye obelisk, bye Squee
buddha Nirvana: nite pema
Neela Blaisdale: now we have a red obelisk:)
Adelene Dawner: Yep, it slowly changes colors at random.
Neela Blaisdale: interesting it changed to red while we were talking about this;)
Adelene Dawner: ^.^
Adelene Dawner glitters all over Neela. ^.^
Neela Blaisdale: :)
Neela Blaisdale: feels like we're one with the obelisk:)
Adelene Dawner: ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: or the obelick is one of us, like Squee
Adelene Dawner: It's even prettier without other light - I have about 8 or 10 of these in my cave now. ^.^
Neela Blaisdale: :)
Neela Blaisdale: the Crystal palace
Adelene Dawner: Perhaps. :)
buddha Nirvana: nice, you have a cave?
Adelene Dawner: I had my friend Gentle over, and she wants to show them to a friend of hers who has an art gallery in SL - might be that my cave isn't the only place to find these, soon. ^.^
Neela Blaisdale: do you have a photo of it Ade?
Adelene Dawner: Nope... you can come over, though, if you want. Landmark's in my profile ^.^
Adelene Dawner just built it earlier today - still in progress, actually. ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: chrystal has an aura like me
Neela Blaisdale: Don't see it in your profile Ade, think I have it anyway in my inventory
Adelene Dawner: hmmmm
Neela Blaisdale: a new place?
Adelene Dawner: It's there - first one under 'picks'.
Neela Blaisdale: Yes noticed yur aura Steve
stevenaia Michinaga: and Buddha's
stevenaia Michinaga: I ahve a pic of us and the crystal from earlier, I;ll put it on your log when it;s up
Adelene Dawner: ^.^
Neela Blaisdale: brb
Adelene Dawner: wb, Nee :)
Neela Blaisdale: :)
buddha Nirvana: does anyone here feel they dont want to sleep sometimes?
Adelene Dawner nods....
stevenaia Michinaga: I sleep little, but don;t mind it
Adelene Dawner: Not recently, tho.
Neela Blaisdale: I seem to really need sleep
stevenaia Michinaga: I can;t say I fear anything about sleep
Neela Blaisdale: Always mind when I don't get enough
Neela Blaisdale: is that what you mean Buddha, afraid to sleep?
Adelene Dawner: Right now, I'm not keeping a sleep schedule at all - when I wnat to sleep, I do, when I don't, I don't. It's working well.
buddha Nirvana: not for any particular reason, just feel they would rather not sleep
Neela Blaisdale: do you find you cycle like most peoples day or is it different?
stevenaia Michinaga: I do enjoy being awake more, and I do enjoy naps
Adelene Dawner: Me? It's related to a normal day-cycle, but not much - I go anywhere from 3 to 20 hours between 6-to-10-hour sleeps.
buddha Nirvana: my schedule is pretty poor
Neela Blaisdale: poor in what way?
buddha Nirvana: its just out of sync with the rest of the country. but i supose, as adelne said, it suits me
Neela Blaisdale: where do you live Buddha?
buddha Nirvana: im in the U.K
buddha Nirvana: near London
Adelene Dawner nods at Buddha. "It's been severl days since I've slept at night, but I don't consider my sleep schedule 'poor' at all."
Neela Blaisdale: so it's about 3 am for you?
buddha Nirvana: just approaching 4
buddha Nirvana: Me too adelene, i get around 8 hours a night
Neela Blaisdale: yours and Ade's approach is interesting, must try it sometime
buddha Nirvana: i guess i meant poor, in that im not sleeping at the same time as most
Neela Blaisdale: Ah...
Adelene Dawner: Just make sure you get blackout curtains before you start, Neela.
buddha Nirvana: hehe
Neela Blaisdale: :) and turn off the phone
Adelene Dawner didn't, and... well, let's just say 48 hours of no sleep is not a good thing.
Mano Arabello: hi
buddha Nirvana: im lucky, i have a church steeple that blocks out any sunlight
stevenaia Michinaga: hello Mano
Neela Blaisdale: Hi Mano
buddha Nirvana: Hi mano
Mano Arabello: I´m from Brasil and you??
buddha Nirvana: U.K here Mano :)
stevenaia Michinaga: US here

Adelene Dawner: Mano, we record our chats here, and post them online; do you mind being recorded?
Mano Arabello: how I can get a money
Mano Arabello: ??
buddha Nirvana: not sure mano, sorry
Mano Arabello: ok
stevenaia Michinaga: this is a talking place, not a money place
Mano Arabello: ok
Neela Blaisdale: Mano I've just sent you a note about our meetings here
stevenaia Michinaga: opps, so did I
stevenaia Michinaga: enjoy your Second Life
