The Guardian for this meeting was Eos Amaterasu. The comments are by Eos Amaterasu.

An introductory conversation with Anony Mouse ...

    Eos Amaterasu: HI Cosmic
    cosmic Ghost: hi
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Anon!
    Anony Mouse: hi!
Anony Mouse: how many people usually come to this?
Eos Amaterasu: It varies... from a couple to up to 10 maybe
Eos Amaterasu: I have "claimed" the log, which means I'll get an email with its location
Eos Amaterasu: so I can edit it for the wiki, where logs are kept
Anony Mouse: what does that mean?
Eos Amaterasu: So, btw, everything is being recorded here....
    Eos Amaterasu: Is that okay?
    Anony Mouse: oh...do i have a choice?
Anony Mouse: rather not be put on the web
Eos Amaterasu: Well, the guardian can edit your comments out, or make them anonymous
    Anony Mouse: okay anonymous
    Eos Amaterasu: anony mouse
Eos Amaterasu: terribly laggy tonight, saying words that just disappear
    Eos Amaterasu: ah!
    Anony Mouse: yea
Eos Amaterasu: "appreciate the presence of appearance" is one theme
Anony Mouse: is this a buddhist based group?
Eos Amaterasu: "appreciate the presence of appearance as a presentation of being" is a further elaboration
Eos Amaterasu: all based on the suspension that can happen for 9 secs every 15 min
    Anony Mouse: gap
Eos Amaterasu: Not fundamentally, though it seems many of the members are buddhist, or have worked with such practices
Eos Amaterasu: appreciating being as manifest in the gap
Eos Amaterasu: People have brought in various traditions, in a personal way: ST Francis of Assissi, just a few days ago an Islamic perspective, etc
Eos Amaterasu: but the personal 1st person experience's the thing
Eos Amaterasu: The bird sounds are very much like when I go on walks through the local woods, the Dingle.
Anony Mouse: how does that recording thing work
Eos Amaterasu: I don't know the details. Wol Euler scripted it. It recognizes when someone is near.
Eos Amaterasu: I'm a Playing as Being guardian, and so when I touch the center of the fountain it gives me the option of "claiming" the session
Anony Mouse: i think im gonna have to relog...seem to be a bit frozen
    Anony Mouse: brb
    Eos Amaterasu: :-(

    A gap...

Eos Amaterasu is suspended in appearance, with no occupation
Eos Amaterasu observes multiple occupations on autopilot

    Pila and Eos in Grungeology...

    Eos Amaterasu: Hi PIla!
    Pila Mulligan: hi eos
    Pila Mulligan: how are you?
Eos Amaterasu: okay.... enjoying things, with certain reality tensions, of course
    Pila Mulligan: :)
    Eos Amaterasu: How are you?
Pila Mulligan: I'm fine thanks, just came in from being active enough to work up a sweat (barely)
Pila Mulligan: so sitting kinda grungy
Eos Amaterasu: Ah yes, did some garden work myself couple days ago
Pila Mulligan: feels good, doesn't it :)
    Eos Amaterasu: phenomenally earthy :-)
Pila Mulligan: Maxine visited two volcano sites over the weekend, playing -- earlier we were talking about the earthy phenomenon of senseing the power of volcanoes
Eos Amaterasu: Yes, I saw her description: awe-some.
Eos Amaterasu: Sense of being, sense of danger; she talks of awareness of unbelievable violence that intimately part of creative force
    Eos Amaterasu: that's
Pila Mulligan: Hawaii volcanoes are supposedly not explosive, like the ones she saw -- ours are slow, and show a very obvious yin and yang -- the dense vegetation next to lava
Eos Amaterasu: I saw a video once of lava from Hawaii volcano entering and steaming the sea
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Eos Amaterasu: "beauty is that part of terror we are still able to bear"
Pila Mulligan: I can imagine -- I've seen it much less dramatically in person
Pila Mulligan: those videos are using from offshore
Pila Mulligan: I was just watching it go over the edge from above
Pila Mulligan: slow flow, nothing spectacular, but very moving still
Eos Amaterasu: like Hawai island existence itself?
Pila Mulligan: yes, the island I live on is growing every day
Eos Amaterasu: you're appreciating the presence of geology :-)
    Pila Mulligan: :)

    Eastern words playing with being...

Pila Mulligan: what do you suppose would be an accurate word for Being (in the sense used here) from an Eastern tradition?
    Pila Mulligan: Sat?
Eos Amaterasu: In a way... "Sat" as "That"
Pila Mulligan: wu chi fits nicely from Chinese
Eos Amaterasu: I would say, "that", in the sense that it 's used in "No one can describe That by saying, 'It is this'"
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Eos Amaterasu: chi flowing wu wei style?
Pila Mulligan: chi and wu wei derive from wu chi :)
Eos Amaterasu: How would you describe wu chi?
    Eos Amaterasu: Ah!
Pila Mulligan: wu wei is represented by the circle -- the undifferentiated whole of Being
    Pila Mulligan: wu chi*
Eos Amaterasu notes the amazing lag, phrases arriving asynchronously
Pila Mulligan: sorry, not wu wei :)
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: floating throug maya in harmony :)
Eos Amaterasu: So is that a description of APA?
    Pila Mulligan: no, oif Being
Pila Mulligan: oh, no, you and I were in snchrony, by lag if maya, floating ...
    Pila Mulligan: of*
    Eos Amaterasu: wu lag :-)
Pila Mulligan: I was playing with the idea of how some of Pema's acronyms could be rendered as mantras using traditional Eastern terms -- got as far as sat for Being, then stuck ... :)
Pila Mulligan: maybe om would work for Being in a mantra?
Pila Mulligan: chit could be awareness
    Pila Mulligan: om chit something
Eos Amaterasu: well, you could say "the jewel in the lotus" is aka "the being in appearance"
Pila Mulligan: chit mane padme om
    Eos Amaterasu: Sat chit ananda
Pila Mulligan: yep, that is the awareness I was thinking of
    Pila Mulligan: and the sat
Pila Mulligan: but bliss does not appear here :) yet
    Pila Mulligan: ananda
    Eos Amaterasu: Sat : appearance; chit/citta : appreciate ; ananda : presence
Eos Amaterasu: the warmth of presence
Eos Amaterasu: the feeling of other as the feeling of self
Pila Mulligan: I get chit appreciate, presence may work with ananda, but the old mantra already has intepreted meanings
    Pila Mulligan: as a mantra
    Eos Amaterasu: we be playing
Pila Mulligan: it seems to me that the phenomenological element is the distinct exception from the mantra -- but maybe I'm wrongly understaning it
Pila Mulligan: it is fun to play with these things
Pila Mulligan: well, you've served you time Eos and I need to wash up ....
Pila Mulligan: nice to visit with you
Pila Mulligan: served it well, if I may add
Eos Amaterasu: those things also apply to oneself - that's where that sense of danger comes in
    Pila Mulligan: ?
    Pila Mulligan: more?
    Eos Amaterasu: Bye Pila!
Pila Mulligan: no wait, you got me curious :)
    Eos Amaterasu: lag
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Eos Amaterasu: appreciate the presence of yourself as appearing as a presentation of being
Pila Mulligan: hmmmm ... and the sense of danger?
    Eos Amaterasu: this very solidity
    Eos Amaterasu: seeming solidity
    Pila Mulligan: :)
    Pila Mulligan: ok, thanks
Eos Amaterasu: Ciao, I should also turn in!
Pila Mulligan: see you next time, Eos -- aloha `oe
