We started with my demonstrating the different ways that guardians can organise the pavilion's seating and pool.

Storm Nordwind: Sometimes the sessions here are very small. Sometimes they are very busy
Nymf Hathaway: yes I have experienced both
Storm Nordwind: When I built this place I got a list of all the attendances for the previous months
Storm Nordwind: So I knew the size and the number of seats we needed
Storm Nordwind: But the previous place was quite enclosed, not open
Storm Nordwind: And some people did not like the openness!
Storm Nordwind: Others did not like sitting so far apart from each other
Storm Nordwind: So I gave them seating choices
Storm Nordwind: But I kept the openness
Nymf Hathaway: In my experience... you can only do your best, but there will always be people who do not like the change
Storm Nordwind: That is true
Nymf Hathaway: I think you did a wonderful job for Kira and PaB...do you work on the MICA projects as well?
Storm Nordwind: I have done any work for MICA, at least not yet
Storm Nordwind: But thank you for your kind words!
Nymf Hathaway: well as you might know I ran a forum group for two years...and with 2 sims in they end... building a beautiful setting for everyone to like is hard

Storm Nordwind: With the cosy setting of the cushions, you get steam cleaned every 15 minutes. :)

It seemed a good place to ask a question about the effects, if any, of changes in one's outer world on one's inner world, and perhaps vice versa.

Storm Nordwind: I wonder if moving house helps shake your perception of what is real, like Play as Being does. What does anyone think?
Mickorod Renard: i have been trying to sell my home for two years now,,and i have realized I have been putting many aspects of my life on hold,,waiting for the sale

Fefonz Quan: moving house mostly takes so much effort and small details, nothing else seems real :)

Mickorod Renard: I must enjoy the moment,,and the future will sort itself out
Storm Nordwind: Yes. I realised this when I had to fill out a form for the American Embassy. They wanted to know all my addresses since I was 16 years old

Storm Nordwind: Bear in mind that means in the last 40 years for me
Mickorod Renard: and me..ish
Storm Nordwind: And I found that, in that time, I had had 28 different addresses!
Fefonz Quan: yes, the american embassies are so weird in that

Storm Nordwind: If you include the first 16 years, 40 addresses in total
Mickorod Renard: I think I have had 8 in that time
Fefonz Quan: so i think you are not attached for homes, we cleared that :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: i try to stay in contact with many totally different but also exploring groups

Yakuzza Lethecus: while i obviously also like the classical western philosophy event´s with giles or on thothica and open habitat

Yakuzza Lethecus: oh, that also leads me in being curious abou psychologie and my own ontogenesis
Yakuzza Lethecus: but that is a real complicated field and i didn´t found many good places for that in sl so far
Yakuzza Lethecus: developmental psych isn´t really covered here

Storm Nordwind: I was listening to a BBC radio programme last night (the Moral Maze), and they were arguing about a topic without really defining the basic terms. People trap other people in words like that
Mickorod Renard: yes,,u have me trapped already
Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah, i even talked to an old friend about my relativly new interest in philosophy and he just told me that philosophy is crap and he was just thinking about discussiong if i am really here
sophia Placebo: the thing is about tv shows , defining terms can take all the show time unless the host was smart enough to ask very specific questions

I had noticed that when the quarter hourly message for a 90 seconds pause was broadcast, and vapours erupted from the central spout, there was no longer a sound cue.

Storm Nordwind has just noticed that Moon's 15 minute bell has gone. I will have to make a quick replacement.

So while others carried on chatting, I sent a message to Moon Fargis, the creator of the original bell. He very kindly sent me a replacement and I was able to install it in the pavailion.

Mickorod Renard: Yak, i get the impression that philo is good for opening up your mind to alternative ways of thought,,i dont think it would be productive to stick to one method
Yakuzza Lethecus: right
Yakuzza Lethecus: it is funny now i know that philosophy is so much more and splitted into so many fields but when i talk to others here is still see that even the term philosophie is forbidden and connotated with prejudices

Mickorod Renard: philo ends up in much debate and arguement,,wheras here we like to not put up barriers,,in my opinion
sophia Placebo: knowladge is an endless ocean ,unless one knows where is he aiming to , most likely he would never reach a shore
