The Guardian for this meeting was Adams Rubble. The comments are by Adams Rubble.

Wol and I sat together most of the session but were joined by Corvi. Corvi alas was distracted by RL. Travieso joined us that the very end

    We started with small talk

    Adams Rubble: Hello Wol :)
Wol Euler: hello adams, nice to see you again.
Adams Rubble: You too Wol :)
Adams Rubble: I hope life is treating you wll :)
    Adams Rubble: well
    Adams Rubble: Wol well?
Wol Euler: yes, thanks, enjoying my day off.
Adams Rubble: days off are nice :)
Wol Euler: especially as this one comes in the middle of a relaxed week: Pema on Tuesday, boss out of office yesterday, boss out again Friday.
Adams Rubble: You have a new look...nice :)
    Wol Euler smiles. Thank you.
    Adams Rubble: yaay!
Adams Rubble: The students here are glad when my typist is out (giggles)
    Wol Euler: heheh
Adams Rubble: they were nice to my typist this morning though :)
Wol Euler: well, I should hope so!
Adams Rubble: they are constructing in the space above. throwing things out the door into a dumpster 30 feet below
Wol Euler: good god. how many days of that?
Adams Rubble not sure but they said the drilling would start in about a week
    Wol Euler: o.O
Adams Rubble: nice and quiet here though :)
Wol Euler: you'll have to move your student meetings to SL
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: There are two faculty offices we can move to when it gets out of hand here
Adams Rubble: It was great you had a chance to see Pema :)
Wol Euler: yes, I'm very happy about that. It was a great day.
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble has been fortunate to have a few of those kinds of days :)
Adams Rubble gets lost in thought
    Wol Euler smiles
I had spent much of the night dreaming about and thinking about PaB. It surprised me that PaB was foremost in my mind because I have other things in real life needing my attention. Our group seems to be facing a new challenge that will for a while divide us. There seems to be nothing to do but watch it play out knowing the group is strong.
Adams Rubble: I thought much about PaB last night
Adams Rubble: I was thinking how it would be good for us to remember how much we owe to one another and when someone comes in and tries to divide us, that it is good for us to pull together especially for those who take flack standing up for the group
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: I was thinking about that too.
    We talk about leadership
Wol Euler: Pema and Artemisia and I spoke about the group, how it seems to lose focus during the times when Pema is away.
Adams Rubble: Yes, that has happened the entire time I have been here. Funny, though I don't feel it so much this time myself
Wol Euler: Perhaps that means it's a natural collection of people who have become interested in each other, not just in the prime purpose of the group.
Wol Euler: Perhaps it means that there is nobody else who has the authority or the will to direct it, though.
Adams Rubble: We have helped each other so much that is natural we begin to draw together
Adams Rubble: yes to your statement
Adams Rubble: but that doesn't mean we are not engaged
Adams Rubble: each in our own way
Adams Rubble: doing our own explorations :)
Wol Euler: indeed, and that is perhaps a reason why there is no leader pushing a single direction
Wol Euler: no Grand Unified Theory
    Wol Euler: except Pema himself
Adams Rubble: Pema, whether he likes it or not, is the reason many of us stayed here in the first place (giggles)
Adams Rubble: although I owe much to others including Storm who guided me at the beginning
Adams Rubble: Does Pema think someone else should emerge?
Wol Euler: I didn't get that impression.
    Adams Rubble nods
Adams Rubble: Storm and Gen are providing leadership at Kira
Wol Euler: And I wouldn't know who else would have the knowledge-based authority. Pema is respected and listened to here because of what he knows, and his ability to explain.
Adams Rubble: and his ability to touch us when we need it
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
I  missed the meaning of the next few lines the first time around but Wol's and my thoughts are running parallel
Wol Euler: one thing he said that made sense, is the danger of having leaders who make pronouncements.
Wol Euler: Because these can be interpreted exclusively, that "blessed are the peacemakers" can be taken to mean that everyone else is not.
    Adams Rubble: :)
Wol Euler: he prefers answering questions to speaking ex cathedra.
Wol Euler: So the question is, how do we ask him more and better questions?
    Adams Rubble: Good question :)
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: I think we explore and find out what we can until we run into difficulty :)
Adams Rubble: sometimes it is not answers we need from Pema :)
Adams Rubble: sometimes it is enough to have him look our way
    Adams Rubble: Hello Corvi :)
    Wol Euler: hello Corvi.
Suddenly an idea flashes into my head and I realize how Pema sometimes points us to Being
Adams Rubble: maybe it has something to do with Being
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Heya'll
Adams Rubble: nice pose Corvi :)
    Adams Rubble: great for PaB
Adams Rubble: I know what I am saying but it will be hard to get it into words
Wol Euler: we're in no hurry.
Adams Rubble: I am getting an insight :)
Adams Rubble: Pema has a way of getting me to look beyond myself when I am struggling
Adams Rubble: sort of like a healing touch
Adams Rubble: Hopefully I'll learn to do that myself someday
    Wol Euler: "WWPD"?
    Adams Rubble: WWPD?
Wol Euler chuckles. What would Pema do
Adams Rubble: West Willowbrook Police Department?
    Adams Rubble: ohhhh. hehe
    Adams Rubble: hmmmm
    Adams Rubble: interesting koan
    Adams Rubble jots down WWPD
    Internalized Voices, barriers to unlearning
Wol Euler: we all have internalized voices, most of them accidental and inadvertent
Wol Euler: our parents, the math teacher who sighed and said "you'll never understand this", a year of cutting put-downs from a fellow student trying to make himself feel better by standing on your shoulders
    Adams Rubble nods vigorously
Wol Euler: perhaps we might choose to internalize a positive voice, one that tells us good and useful things.
Adams Rubble: even so, your comparison makes we think we should even take those lightly
    Adams Rubble: but nice thought
Wol Euler: it could be a way of generating insight, forcing youself to look at something from a different angle
Wol Euler: rather like the difference between YS and BS
    Wol Euler: YSPS :)
Adams Rubble: it is so good to have finally stilled my long running voice that is turning out to be a collection of voices rather than the just one I thoguht it was
Adams Rubble: Yes, Pema seeing would have some value
    Wol Euler nods.
Adams Rubble: we talked about that one day in a collection of various entities seeing :)
Adams Rubble: that was the session in which Pila brought up ancestor seeing which stilled my voice
    Adams Rubble: my unwanted voice
    Wol Euler: ah!
Looking at and with our avatars
Adams Rubble: anyway we can look at ourselves from a different angle :)
    Wol Euler: wb corvi
Adams Rubble: We can do that so easily in SL with our avatars :)
    Adams Rubble: wb Corvi :)
    Wol Euler: heh, yes.
Wol Euler: perhaps that is a better example and precedent than you think. :)
Wol Euler: just as our different avs are all "ourself" seen through different lenses/bodies/genders/species
Adams Rubble: I am used to look at my RL avatar with different SL avatars
    Adams Rubble: yes
Adams Rubble: for me, important explorations
Adams Rubble: very useful in the deconstruction process :)
Adams Rubble wonders what happens if and when the deconstruction is done
Adams Rubble: When will we know it is done?
Adams Rubble: Will these different ways of looking become unnecessary then?
Adams Rubble: and possibly be another form of attachment
    Wol Euler ponders
Adams Rubble: I think it is a thought to keep in mind
Adams Rubble: but not worry about
Continuing to adjust and an example of a tragedy of someone who never adjusted
Wol Euler: I wonder whether being done is actually a possibility. I've always just assumed that it wasn't, that we would go to our deaths making little adjustments to keep ourselves on course.
    Adams Rubble: maybe :)
Wol Euler: I found that a pleasant idea :)
Adams Rubble: I don;t know if you know about the incident in washington DC yesterday
Wol Euler: at the Holocaust Memorial? yes
Wol Euler: killing to prevent a lecture on Anne Frank?
Adams Rubble: Incredible that an 89 year old man could carry so much hatred so far into his life
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: nods.
Adams Rubble: It makes me glad I got into PaB while I was till young
    Adams Rubble: still
Wol Euler: born in 1920; in his early teens as Hitler became a voice on the radio and in the papers.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: smiles.
Wol Euler: perhaps he believed? perhaps being in a worldwide movement was a way to feel less isolated and worthless?
Wol Euler: because every teen does feel that at least for some time...
Adams Rubble: but he had 60 years to have some kind of self reflection...to see reality...to be grateful...to look into a child's face
Wol Euler nods. It's a mystery.
Adams Rubble: went 89 years and missed that
    Wol Euler: yep
Wol Euler: one has to say "poor old bugger, what a sad and angry and lonely life he probably had"
Adams Rubble: it would be easier to say that had he not taken someone else from the prime of his life
    Wol Euler: yes, of course.
Adams Rubble: and spread his hatred
Adams Rubble: hard to be compassionate
Adams Rubble: although I guess I am being so in a way
Adams Rubble: right..it is a mytery
    Adams Rubble: mystery
Wol Euler smiles and nudges Corvi. You're very quiet today.
Adams Rubble looks at Corvi and smiles too
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: hmm?
Adams Rubble: and then smiles at Wol
Corvuscorva Nightfire grins at you both and whaps you with pillows.
    Wol Euler: heheheh
    Adams Rubble: :)
We think of Eliza, are joined by Traveso and then all leave
Adams Rubble thinks of Eliza too and hopes she is well
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler speaks into the camera. "Hello Eliza, we miss you and hope you're having a good time."
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Wol Euler: hello Travieso
    Travieso Sella: hi
    Adams Rubble: hello travieso
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi, Travieso.
Adams Rubble: Welcome to Play as being, have you been here before?
    Travieso Sella: thanks
    Travieso Sella: yeah, i have
    Adams Rubble: great:)
Adams Rubble: we are finishing up for this morning
    Travieso Sella: yeah
Wol Euler: unless you have anything that you wanted to discuss?
    Adams Rubble: :)
Travieso Sella: I think for once, I'm out of ideas
    Wol Euler smiles
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: phone
Adams Rubble: I am afraid I must get back to RL
Adams Rubble: Thank you everyone :)
Adams Rubble: and bye for now :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: bye, Adams.
    Travieso Sella: cya
Wol Euler smiles and nods. Enjoy the day, Adams.
Travieso Sella: okay my turn now
    Travieso Sella: cya folks
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: bye Travieso
    Wol Euler: bye travieso
Wol Euler: sorry, I was in the kitchen
    Wol Euler: enjoy the day
