Korel Laloix: The root for the word Cherokee is debatable even.
Korel Laloix: But most think it is the Cree word for people that dont' speak Cree.
Archmage Atlantis: There is woman in my seniors group who identifies as over 50% Cherokee

Korel Laloix: My aunts asked me for my birhtday/Christams what I wanted... I asked them to help me find out who he is.
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, this genetic exploration I've done confuses the story.......english/scotch/irish was the background I was given....but the genetics has some polish/roma/jewish....who knows
Korel Laloix: I am not sure why it is important to me, but it is become more that way as the time goes.
Archmage Atlantis: My dad was important to me.....my mom was too........no brothers or sisters though......life doesn't fit the story we learned

Korel Laloix: My half brothers left home when I was about 5, so I did not remember them much.
