    Agatha Macbeth: Hello recorder
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello QT
    Qt Core: Hi Agatha
Agatha Macbeth: Wasn't sure if anyone was coming
Qt Core: wasn't sure if myself was coming ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
Agatha Macbeth: Well Wol is travelling, so won't be here
Qt Core: hoping is something happier than last trip
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes
Agatha Macbeth: It's a sad situation I guess
    Agatha Macbeth: Can't be easy
Agatha Macbeth: Certainly lots of snow here
    --BELL--1315
Qt Core: i've only saw the digital kind this year, nor really asking for the real one
Agatha Macbeth: What's the weather like there?
Qt Core: started to rain a few hours ago, until then cold and sunny for many days
Agatha Macbeth: Sunny here too for the most part, unusually mild too
Qt Core: it was perfect weather for smog and pollution
    Agatha Macbeth: Ick
Agatha Macbeth: We never seem to have fog here any more, odd that
    Qt Core: same here
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe smokeless fuel worked in that respect
Qt Core: i quite like the fog, the real wet one, not the dry smoggy one
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I did too :p
Agatha Macbeth: I guess south of Italy is warmer than the north?
Qt Core: there was a pic, somewhere in the web, a few days ago showing all the Po valley under the fog, but the metro area of Milan free as the coty is warmer
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
    Qt Core: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Always thought Po was a strange name for a river :p
Qt Core: didn't remember the origin, a funny note, Po is pronunced as po, the abbreviation of poco (little, most in the sense of "a little of"... and still is the biggest and longer river in italy
    Agatha Macbeth: Hmm, how perverse
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe a joke by someone
Qt Core: speaking about language, in these days i'm (again) thinking about one of the mysteries (for me) of english language: you, as why it is used both for the sigular and plural 2nd person and how it affects the corresponding ideas
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh yes true
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi K
    Qt Core: Hi Korel
    Korel Laloix: heya
Agatha Macbeth: Well very different to japanese, which has about eight words for you I think :p
    --BELL--1330
Agatha Macbeth: It certainly helps that english only has one
Qt Core: and it don't even change between being the subject and the object in the phrase...
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes, right
    Agatha Macbeth: Invariable
Agatha Macbeth: Dunno why people stopped using thou really
Qt Core: how one should get it when in a group of more than two one says "you" ?
Korel Laloix: A lot about English escapes me as well
Agatha Macbeth: Well usually if referring to more than one we say 'you people'
    Agatha Macbeth: To avoid confusuion
Qt Core: (that is a problem if there are more than three prople involved even with having a plural form ;-) )
Korel Laloix: or around here we say "ya'll"
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, difficult to be specific
Agatha Macbeth: There are languages which do the same in every person, I think chinese does
Agatha Macbeth: Language is an odd thing in many ways
Agatha Macbeth: I think half the words we use we don't actually need
Qt Core: if i understood it right in chinese there are no tenses, and they says that those are not necessary if you add today/yesterday/tomorrow to the phrase
Agatha Macbeth: I believe so yes
Qt Core: or whatever time indication you need
    Agatha Macbeth: No plurals either
    Agatha Macbeth: How's things K?
Korel Laloix: Great... graduation and graduatino party tomorrow.
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh wow
    Qt Core: !
Korel Laloix: Starting new job in February after a good graduation trip... smiles
Agatha Macbeth: So all's well then?
    Qt Core: !!
Korel Laloix: Spending a lot of time with my new gf... grins.. things or good.
    Agatha Macbeth: I'm glad
    Qt Core: nice
Korel Laloix: Feeling very blessed at the moment for sure.
Agatha Macbeth: About time things went well for you
Korel Laloix: They always have been well reallly... we at least after 6th grade at least.
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Korel Laloix: One of the things I am going to do a lot more of is gett better at my formal Tsalagi and Bode'
    Agatha Macbeth: What's Bode?
    Korel Laloix: Bode'wadmimwen
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh my
Korel Laloix: My second language after Tsalagi
Korel Laloix: Also known as Potawatomi.
Agatha Macbeth: So you have three then?
Korel Laloix: I did not speak English until I went to kindergarten.
Agatha Macbeth: Bit like a lot of welsh people
Korel Laloix: But English is my primary lanague for sure.... just not my native one.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes it gets about
Korel Laloix: I find it useful if nothing else.
Korel Laloix: And there are things I can say in English that I can't in Tsalagi.
Korel Laloix: Especially on the tech side of htings.
Agatha Macbeth: And vice versa no doubt
Korel Laloix: Not so much, but yes.
Korel Laloix: I want to formally lean to read and write Tsalagi and Bode' now.
Agatha Macbeth: They have their own alphabet?
Korel Laloix: I grew up speaking a bit of a mixed up mess of English, Tsalagi, BOde' and Spanish.
    Agatha Macbeth: Oy
    Agatha Macbeth: Confusing
Korel Laloix: Tsalagi has a sylibary, not an alphabet
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, right
    --BELL--1345
Agatha Macbeth: One symbol per sound?
Korel Laloix: Yes, did you get my texture?
    Agatha Macbeth: Thanks
    Qt Core: yes, ty
Korel Laloix: That was developed by Sequoia.
Agatha Macbeth: Lot like japanese kana
Korel Laloix: Bode' is done in english letters.
Korel Laloix: How have you all been donig recently?... been a while since I had any time on here.
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I'm fine thanks
    Korel Laloix smiles
Agatha Macbeth: When were these symbols first written?
Qt Core: not so great, health issues both personal and in the family
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Korel Laloix: I think in the 1830s.. but let me look that up.
Korel Laloix: Oh sorry to hear that... hope not that serious
Korel Laloix: 1821 was when his sylibary was first published I think.
Agatha Macbeth: And they had no written language before that?
    Korel Laloix: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sequoyah
    Agatha Macbeth: Thx
Korel Laloix: Nothing standard or unified.
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Qt Core: some seems taken straight from the llatin alphabet but having nothing to share with its latin sound
    Agatha Macbeth: Interesting
Korel Laloix: There were other attempts at alphabets, but the nature of our langauge lends itself more to sylibary.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes
Korel Laloix: Evidently like Sanskrit derived language.
Agatha Macbeth: Mostly open syllables, again like japanese and polynesian
Korel Laloix: I have an ex from Pune in INdia and we talked about the similar feel of Hindi and Punjabi sylibaries to sequioa's.
    Agatha Macbeth grins
Agatha Macbeth: You seem to have exes everywhere
Korel Laloix: I was thinking about that the other day as well.. lol.. frowns
    Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
Korel Laloix: Celeste lives in Tampa.
Agatha Macbeth: You get about eh
Korel Laloix: I just seem to be attracted to none-mainstream types.
    Agatha Macbeth: You too? :p
Korel Laloix: Sama was Russian. Matti was Irish. Reebah was Comanche/Argentine....
Korel Laloix: Or should I use is vs was?
Korel Laloix: Another part of Englihs I can't nail down.
Agatha Macbeth: Cultural diversity is a great thing
Korel Laloix: And all of my gfs have spoken more than one language as well.. rare for US people.
Agatha Macbeth: Aha, a pattern is developing...
Korel Laloix: Ru and my current gf M are the only sort of TV stereotype white girls I ahve ever dated... so not common for me either.
Agatha Macbeth: Variety is the spice of life as they say
Korel Laloix: True.. but not looking for variety now.. I am feeling the draw to find someone to spend the rest of my life with... and failing at it horribly... lol
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Agatha Macbeth: The trick is to keep trying
Korel Laloix: Probably.. sort of gave up for now.. in a frivolous two-way rebound relationship... so not going anywhere long term.... lol
Korel Laloix: M has twin daughters my age as well.. so this really is not healthy on any level.. but great fun at least.
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe get your career on course first and let the rest fall into place later?
Korel Laloix: That is sort of my plan...
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh, sounds smart
    --BELL--1400
Korel Laloix: I am blessed with so many oportunties at the moment.
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe your dynamism attracts opportunity to you :)
    Korel Laloix: I hope so....
Korel Laloix: I am having to decided which job to take.. and I know a lot of people that can't find one.
Korel Laloix: So something to keep in mind.
Agatha Macbeth: A happy situation I guess
Korel Laloix: Stress in its own way.
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Qt Core: you may send someone you know asking for the job you will not take,
Korel Laloix: I am pretty sure I know what I am going to do.... have to get a background check done and that sort of creaps me out though for this one I am really looking at.
Korel Laloix: I am doing that already.
    Qt Core: :)
Korel Laloix: If I go with the office manager job then I willa ctually be doing the hiring.
Korel Laloix: That will be strange to see from that side.
Agatha Macbeth: I can believe it
Korel Laloix: We will see what happens.. lots to think and pray about for sure.
Korel Laloix: Any big transitions for ya'll? smiles
Agatha Macbeth: Hope it all works out for you
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Zenny
Zen Arado: 's current display-name is "Zen".
    Qt Core: Hi Zen
Agatha Macbeth: You look very dapper I must say
Zen Arado: Hi Aggers, Qt, Korel
    Korel Laloix: Fun glasses.
    Agatha Macbeth: John Lennon
Zen Arado: oh someone wants to tp me somewhere
    Korel Laloix: ciao
Agatha Macbeth: Probably need a DJ :p
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Zenny
    Qt Core: bye
Korel Laloix: Had to look up John Lennon... lol.. never could stand the Beetles.
Agatha Macbeth: Well that was short and sweet
    Agatha Macbeth: Kids eh
Korel Laloix: Just not my thing... smiles
    Agatha Macbeth pokes you
Korel Laloix: Dead before I was born
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh, right
    Qt Core: Bach too ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: 1980 I remember it well
    Korel Laloix: I was -6.
    Korel Laloix: lol
Agatha Macbeth: Ah well, enjoy it while you're young cos it don't last!
Korel Laloix: More of an Elvish sort of girl anyway.
    Korel Laloix: And pink floyd
Agatha Macbeth: By Elvish you mean Elvis?
    Agatha Macbeth: :p
    Korel Laloix: oh... lol.. yes
    Agatha Macbeth grins
Agatha Macbeth: He was part Cherokee too I think
Korel Laloix: Saw the Hobbit movie the other day... rubbing me the wrong way linguisticly.
    Agatha Macbeth: Ha
Korel Laloix: Was kind of fun...
Agatha Macbeth: I read the book 40 years ago erk
    Korel Laloix: How was it?
    --BELL--1415
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I loved it
Korel Laloix: Making a non-school reading list now for myself.
Agatha Macbeth: Then graduated to LOTR
Qt Core: haven't seen any of the two hobbit movies, quite unsure there is material for three movies
Agatha Macbeth: I always prefer books to films anyway
    Qt Core: me too, usually
Agatha Macbeth: Not sure why, easy enough to put a DVD on
Korel Laloix: I am not a big moview person really.
Agatha Macbeth: But just prefer a book
Korel Laloix: Most of the movies I have ever watched has been because soemone I cared about wanted to watch them.
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe I'm just old fashioned
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes, true that
Agatha Macbeth: I never watched so many films as when I was married
Qt Core: i'm a pathological tv channel surfer, can't stay focused for so long ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hah
Agatha Macbeth: I never watch TV any more
Korel Laloix: I more like to go to something live,.... even if it is horrible.
Agatha Macbeth: The inane adverts are enough to put me off
Qt Core: a couple good things are still around, i'm down at a 2/3 hours a week
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
Agatha Macbeth: All your time is in the kitchen QT?
    Qt Core: :-) no
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, i just get that impression sometimes
Qt Core: i'm doing quite less cooking in past years, just for surviving more than for the joy of making and eating it
Korel Laloix: Weith so much live entertainment around here, really no reason but money to not go see someone actually perform.
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
Agatha Macbeth: There are some pretty good musicians in SL
Qt Core: if there are no ties keeping you from going around
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes that helps
Agatha Macbeth: Glad you turned up actually during a session instead of at the end for once K :p
Agatha Macbeth: I always feel so bad about leaving you on your own
Korel Laloix: Well, I was 20 mins late.. smiles.. but getting better at it.
Agatha Macbeth: Early by your standards heh
Agatha Macbeth: Boxy was the best for that
Agatha Macbeth: Would always appear 5 minutes from the end
Korel Laloix: Have not seen him in ages... hope he is OK.
    Agatha Macbeth: Me too <sigh>
Agatha Macbeth: I do miss him
Agatha Macbeth: So many old friends no longer here
Korel Laloix: Sl is good for that.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
    Agatha Macbeth: Sadly
Korel Laloix: Past my 8 years in SL mark back in October.. wow.. lots has changed.
Korel Laloix: Only one friend from back then still in SL.. and not often.
Agatha Macbeth: I can believe it
    --BELL--1430
Agatha Macbeth: I remember you said your original av wouldn't rez properly any more or something?
Korel Laloix: My origional AV I could not figure out how to make it female.. but kept for a while.
Korel Laloix: So started a new one... then that one just died.
Korel Laloix: The inventory all went away.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I remember something odd happened to it
Korel Laloix: Then I took a break... and made Freud.
    Agatha Macbeth: Right
Agatha Macbeth: Jeez, just think how many days old your original would be now
    Agatha Macbeth: 8 x 365
    Agatha Macbeth: Almost 3000
Agatha Macbeth: That's a rare club
Korel Laloix: I know a few older.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I met one over 4000 once wow
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder how old Governor Linden is now?
    Agatha Macbeth: 4127 erk
Korel Laloix: Have I taken you on the SL history tour?
Agatha Macbeth: No, I keep meaning to go on that!
Agatha Macbeth: Never seem to get round to it
Korel Laloix: We can do that sometime.. just let me know.
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe we could do it in a party for PaB or something?
Agatha Macbeth: Like a historical outing
Korel Laloix: If you like.. I did give the tour a couple of times.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, will definitely have to do that
Agatha Macbeth: But right now folks, I need to be moving on
    Korel Laloix: ciao bella
