[19:25] Calvino Rabeni: i wonder what a really easy eggnog recipe is .. a couple raw eggs, some cream, nutmeg, blend it up?

[19:25] Calvino Rabeni: I tried maximalist a couple years ago .. many steps, done as part of a making ritual
[19:26] Calvino Rabeni: separating things, minding the temperature, cooling them, letting them sit .. very alchemical

[19:35] Calvino Rabeni: I wonder what it is like having this holiday season and new year in the southern hemisphere and the heat of summer? I'm so accustomed to it being dark and inward

[19:37] Paradise Tennant: I guess it would be different on warm sand beach
[19:37] Paradise Tennant: but really a winter xmas has charm too .. lots of xmas lights ... a white xmas has a magic to it
[19:38] Calvino Rabeni: yes, grilled barracuda and mai tai's might suit
[19:38] stevenaia Michinaga: every now and then I skype with a Kewi, it is strange with the seasons are 1/2 a year off


[19:39] Calvino Rabeni: I had an interesting visitor, this time is good for that. A young man who's been working in the northwest hawaiian islands.
[19:39] Calvino Rabeni: small and remote islands 1000 miles from the main island
[19:39] Paradise Tennant: smiles and listens
[19:39] Calvino Rabeni: the way to get there is to fly to a landing strip on Midway island
[19:39] Calvino Rabeni: now it's a preserve
[19:40] Calvino Rabeni: he was very eloquent about it .. and had absorbed albatross mannerisms physically :)
[19:41] Calvino Rabeni: this book shows the amazing beauty of land and sea in that area

[19:50] Calvino Rabeni: It has been quite an adventure but twin brother hadn't been able to go. He was infectiously enthusiastic.
[19:51] Paradise Tennant: you have a twin cal ?
[19:51] Calvino Rabeni: But it strained him as a poet. He wanted to write about it but couldn't convey the impression of these irridescent corals.
[19:51] Calvino Rabeni: No .. my visitors were twins :)
[19:52] Paradise Tennant: ahh wonder what that must be like ?
[19:54] stevenaia Michinaga: yes, twins can be unusual
[19:56] Calvino Rabeni: they could be genetically identical and yet one has an experience that changes things, and the other feels like the dumb or unlucky one, then those identities start to form them.
[19:57] Calvino Rabeni: so there's now the smart one, and the handsome one :)
[19:57] stevenaia Michinaga: thinking SL would be a good place to create your twin
[19:58] Paradise Tennant: i guess we do that .. we create little cartoon extensions our ourselves :))

[19:59] Calvino Rabeni: I was thinking it would be interesting to have an agreement to have 2 avatars that look aike and act like twins .. or perhaps in the future one could be an an AI, if they ever work out how to do that

[20:05] Paradise Tennant: no he is too old to operate on so if the x-rays had come back with a fracture - it would been more upsetting
