The Guardian for this meeting was Scáthach Rhiarda. The comments hers.

I had difficulty logging in to SL, and arrived 10 minutes late, to find Susi already at the pavilion...

    Susi Alcott: his Scat
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Susi
Scathach Rhiadra: sorry for being late, couldn't log in
    Susi Alcott: no worry
Susi Alcott: nobody else has been here
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
Scathach Rhiadra: still the GOC should be here on time:)
Scathach Rhiadra: so how are you Susi?
Susi Alcott: that is not on GOC's hands when there's the Linden lag
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
    Susi Alcott: U
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
    Susi Alcott: ?

Scathach Rhiadra: any PaB issues or topic you would like to discuss?

    and so tothe mis-understanding.......

    Susi Alcott: well
Susi Alcott: have often pondered the name 'thing'
Susi Alcott: and even more in SL
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
    Scathach Rhiadra: how so Susi?
Susi Alcott: there's so much meaning in name
Scathach Rhiadra: yes, that is true
Scathach Rhiadra: so what does that imply if we have or give no name to something and call it 'thing'

I had taken Susi quite literally, thinking we were discussing why we call anything 'thing' or a thing.....

    Susi Alcott: well
Susi Alcott: what might be the reason to 'name' some person to be a 'thing'
Susi Alcott: that could be something very cute, but it could be also something very bad
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
Susi Alcott: that could also turn to be one's 'name' very easily
Scathach Rhiadra: like we give no value to them?

At this point we were joined by a sleepy Wol, and soon after by Fael and Adams.....

    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Wol:)
    Susi Alcott: hi Wol
Wol Euler rubs the sleep from her eyes and mumbles, "hello scath, hello susi"
    Susi Alcott: well
Susi Alcott: I can think few of my such friends who's got huge sence of humor
Susi Alcott: that it might be possible to call them even by the name 'thing'
Susi Alcott: and that would be very honouring
Susi Alcott: cuz they are 'so much'
Susi Alcott: but sure that 'name' could work out only among friends
    Susi Alcott: imo
Scathach Rhiadra: ah, how about thinking of them as 'thing' though?
    Scathach Rhiadra: is that different?
Susi Alcott: ah; that would be impossible
Wol Euler: do you mean using hte word "name" to address someone, instead of their name?
Susi Alcott: but to give the name 'thing' would tell that how much they are
Susi Alcott: = impossible to tell all good things of them
Scathach Rhiadra: Susi Alcott: have often pondered the name 'thing' [1:27] Susi Alcott: and even more in SL
    Susi Alcott: ah
    Susi Alcott: matter
Scathach Rhiadra: that is the original question Wol
Wol Euler: oh, I see. ty
Susi Alcott: well; ment that so much there's included to name
    Susi Alcott: so many things
    Wol Euler: morning Fael
Fael Illyar: Hi Wol, Scat, Susi :)
    Susi Alcott: hi Fael
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Fael:)
Scathach Rhiadra: do we not use the name thing for other objects, usually inaminate, not other people?
    Susi Alcott: yes

    The beginning of clarity.......

Susi Alcott: I'de say there's now cute misunderstanding :)
    Scathach Rhiadra: ?
Susi Alcott: didn't mean that 'thing' to be the name
    Scathach Rhiadra: ah:)
    Fael Illyar: Hi Adams :)
    Wol Euler: hello adams
    Susi Alcott: hi Adams
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Adams:)
    Adams Dubrovna: hello everyone :)
Susi Alcott: but that misunderstanding gave even more thoughts to the matter name
Scathach Rhiadra: ah, did you mean just names in general?
    Susi Alcott: yes
Susi Alcott: how parents often has difficulties to name the child
    Wol Euler: aaaah
Scathach Rhiadra: sorry, not fully awake yet this morning:)
Susi Alcott: thought that it's partly because there is so strong meanings within name
Fael Illyar: and no word can describe someone.
Susi Alcott: maybe that was good that you was not :)
    Fael Illyar: not completely
Adams Dubrovna: Once a child is born it becomes the name for the parents :)
Susi Alcott: just told about few friends of mine that are so much that could have the nick-name as 'thing'
Susi Alcott: sure that could work out only among friends
Susi Alcott: but nick-names has also the habbit to follow :)
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
    Adams Dubrovna: yes Susi
Susi Alcott: so; that would tell much of these my friends :)
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
Susi Alcott: but that thought came based on Scath's misunderstanding
Susi Alcott: so I said that it was cute
    Fael Illyar smiles at cute.

then we move to the Adam's Family.....

    Susi Alcott: btw
Susi Alcott: I think we know something such that all could know if somebody speaks about 'The Thing'
    Susi Alcott: that hand
    Wol Euler: oh yes :)
Fael Illyar is still not sure what we're talking about.
    Scathach Rhiadra: me neither:)
Susi Alcott: the topic is 'name'
    Scathach Rhiadra: aha
Wol Euler: I think this is yours, Adams :)
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    Adams Dubrovna: my family ?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: back in our childhood ther was a TV show called the Adams Family
Adams Dubrovna: Moricia couldn't make it
    Adams Dubrovna: Morticia
    Scathach Rhiadra: ah, Thing:)
    Wol Euler smiles
Wol Euler: do you know it, Fael?
Fael Illyar: Adams Family? I've heard of it. Perhaps seen some episodes.
Adams Dubrovna: There was a movie or tow
Susi Alcott: so I think that it's so well known 'person', that in case somebody would be given the nick-name 'the Thing' wouldn't be bad at all
    Adams Dubrovna: two
Fael Illyar: hard to be sure as too many series that've been shown in Finland have had their names "translated"
Adams Dubrovna: Maybe it was called the Dubrovna Family
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    Susi Alcott: lol
    Scathach Rhiadra: heehee:)
    Wol Euler: :)
    Fael Illyar: haha :)
Susi Alcott: take that misunderstanding to be cute also because it took topic to be many possibilities
Scathach Rhiadra: so a 'good' misunderstanding
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Susi Alcott: gave possibilities to play with thoughts of beings
Susi Alcott: and more of the meaning if somebody would get that 'name'
    Wol Euler nods
Wol Euler stretches and shakes herself.
Wol Euler: this was a nice way to wake up, thank you all.
Scathach Rhiadra: thank you for being here:)
Fael Illyar: See you later Wol :) Have fun!
Wol Euler: well, I didn't want you to sit alone, Scath :)
    Susi Alcott: _/\_
Wol Euler: bye for now, my dears.
    Adams Dubrovna: bye Wol :)
    Scathach Rhiadra: aww:)
    Scathach Rhiadra: bye Wol:)

As Wol leaves us, Fael moves seat to just behind the two men.....

Susi Alcott: behind every succesfull man is a woma
    Susi Alcott: woman
    Fael Illyar smiles.
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
Fael Illyar: sometimes more than one too.
Fael Illyar: ... well, also men there :P
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
    Susi Alcott: hm
Susi Alcott: very seldom the man can take care more than of one woman I think
Fael Illyar was taking some freedoms interpreting your words.
Susi Alcott: sure that woman can sometimes be also 'only' a friend
Scathach Rhiadra thinks a lot of men would like to think they can:)
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Susi Alcott: agree with Scatch, but not with those men
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
Fael Illyar: but I guess my main point is that no-one, alone, is enough for everything someone else needs.
    Susi Alcott: agree that too
    Adams Dubrovna agrees with Fael
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
Susi Alcott: but very seldom any man is willing to support any woman with all of his doings like many women can be that to man
Susi Alcott: sure people are different, but that saying means that
Susi Alcott: occured to my mind when Fael sat behind two men
Susi Alcott: thinking that Fael could be such woman to two men even
Adams Dubrovna is just very glad there are women in the world
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Susi Alcott: sure that saying means also success in publick and so
    Susi Alcott: work anyway
Fael Illyar smiles 'Well... considering some things, I'll take that as a big praise.'
    Susi Alcott: only reasonable
    Susi Alcott: knowing Fael
    Fael Illyar smiles.
Susi Alcott: so; the succesfull man wouldn't have time to do much else but succes
Susi Alcott: thinking that all can read my mind what I mean with that
    Fael Illyar: Hello Alisa :)
    Susi Alcott: hi Alisa
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Alisa
    Adams Dubrovna: Hello Alisa
    Adams Dubrovna: bye Alisa
    Scathach Rhiadra: a quick visit:)
Fael Illyar: Well, I guess it's scary when a group of people suddenly says "Hi" all at once :)
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
Fael Illyar: ... well, can be :)
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
Scathach Rhiadra: maybe we had not rezzed for her, even scarier:)
    Fael Illyar: possible, yes :)
    Susi Alcott: ;)
Scathach Rhiadra: well, I must go and get some breakfast
Fael Illyar: See you later Scat, have a nice breakfast :)
    Adams Dubrovna: bye Scath :)
Adams Dubrovna: Time for me to go back to bed
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
    Adams Dubrovna: bye all :)
Scathach Rhiadra: thank you all, see you later:)
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Fael Illyar: See you later Adams :) Sleep well!
    Scathach Rhiadra: take care, namasté)
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
    Fael Illyar waves.
