Ok, Ok, Rl got me... And it took 2 days to get back to adding the commentry.

This morning Pema was already there ahead of me.  Being just the two of us, I wanted to appologize for missing his big Astromony thing the day before.  And to pass on that I had mentioned him to some of his aquaintences in another Virtural World that he did some lectures in a couple years ago.

It goes like this...  Michael Nesmith (of monkees, and elephant parts, etc. fame) has (with his wife "Fang"/Foreman/Victoria) a virtual world named Video Ranch (Activeworlds based universe accessed from VideoRanch.com).  I am providing shameless advertizing here, because I like it and them (come look around someday, best Wed.-Sun after 5PST).  They have chat, play, Movies (in a classic Drive-in Theater), playlist music for dancing and occasional LIVE music performances.  You need to experience LIVE (green screen projected) performers brought into a Virtual World.
this is the place Pema/Piet gave his first Lectures, meetings, events, happenings.

Riddle Sideways: They say they are upgrading studio
Riddle Sideways: but, I think september burned them out
Pema Pera: has the attendance remained about steady, the last couple years, or growing?

doug Sosa: so this morning i am doing PaB with the laptop ballanced on a box from amazon, sitting on the floor, doing yoga, with an eye on the screen.
Riddle Sideways: grew to up 100 at big concerts
Riddle Sideways: average non-concert night at about 20-30
Pema Pera: that will be hard to translate into a business model . . . .
Pema Pera: which I thought they wanted to do at some point
Pema Pera: very different scale than SL
Riddle Sideways: yes, so they said they were changing they biz model and gave us our subscription money back
Pema Pera hopes that neither Doug nor his laptop will topple during Doug'as yoga

doug Sosa: we are precarious. the balalnce is good though, since the keyboard is right over the center of the box.

People that have always had lots of money, sometimes are driven to get/have more. and sometimes they can relax into retirement easier.  If your husband is the money/name are you powered up to make a success out of a play thing.
