Aubergine Mint: oh, you mean all of Playasbeing?
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: hmm, isn`t it when no sense of time, we have passed timewall... ;) by going and goming back?
    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: Hey Wol :) great hat
    Qt Core: hi Wol

    Aubergine Mint: hi Wol
Wol Euler: it's hair, actually :)

    Liza Deischer: hi Wol
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello again :)
Agatha Macbeth: Who is GoC tonight?
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: when it feels its gone about 10 min, and notice its gone one hour.. ;)

Eliza Madrigal: yes... Tuesdays are open right now
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Yaku
    Qt Core: hi Yak
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ya :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Liza Deischer: hi Yaku
    Cosmicflower Ushimawa: hello
    Aubergine Mint: hi Yaku
Agatha Macbeth: Where have all the guardians gone.....
    Eliza Madrigal: hehhe
Wol Euler: long time passing ...
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Okay question... do manners come with enlightenment?
Aubergine Mint: define manners and enlightenment
Eliza Madrigal: Can one be perfectly liberated and still run over others....
Wol Euler: I'm inclined to say "no"
Eliza Madrigal: Hm, well yes might have to do that Aubergine
Wol Euler: that perfect liberation would preclude behaving in a shitty way
    Wol Euler: to other beings
    Eliza Madrigal: seems to me...
Agatha Macbeth: S-sorry, just reading Gilles' GN
Eliza Madrigal: I guess there are lines between cultural definitions of what manners are ...
Liza Deischer: there are stories in Buddhism in which teachers behave not well
Liza Deischer: but do it with a purpose
Liza Deischer: problem is, they don't tell us
Agatha Macbeth: Perhaps manners come with civilisation...
Qt Core: maybe manners would leave place to simple respect
    Eliza Madrigal: True, Liza
Agatha Macbeth: Whatever that is :)
Liza Deischer: I think your fight Agatha
Qt Core: manners for manners lead to stupid "rites"
    Liza Deischer: right
Agatha Macbeth: Who wants a fight?
    Liza Deischer: not me :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Me either :)
    Wol Euler: :)
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: Yes, I would say also with respect of others free will, what can be more good manner?
    Liza Deischer: mudwrestling :-)
Liza Deischer: it is a it of a strange thing
Liza Deischer: on one hand in Buddhism you have a great respect for you teacher
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mick
    Wol Euler: hello mick
    Qt Core: hi mick
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Guys
    Agatha Macbeth: Yo Mick
Liza Deischer: at the same time Tibetans can argue in a why we think is impolit
    Cosmicflower Ushimawa: Hello
    Aubergine Mint: hi mick
    Liza Deischer: hi Mick
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I attended a teaching today in which a person I technically agreed with was arguing in an unecessary way ... not making much room, etc...
Eliza Madrigal: It caused me to think about natural grace a bit
Eliza Madrigal has not attended nor seen traditional tibetan debate. more you can say, Liza?
Mickorod Renard: sometimes I stop myself when i realise i am doing that too,,its funny how oblivious we can be to our own traits
Liza Deischer: Smetimes we seem to think that we need to be nice and polite when we get enlightened
Liza Deischer: (if that ever happens)
Eliza Madrigal: and one's message might be lost if delivered badly... so also a matter of skill
    Liza Deischer: could be
    Wol Euler: cough Gilles cough
    Agatha Macbeth: Indeed :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Liza Deischer: Gilles?
Eliza Madrigal: if you are going on and on about love while stomping on someone's hand.. hm...
Wol Euler: a person who used to attend, who was famous for arguing fiercely
    Liza Deischer: ah
Agatha Macbeth: Depends whose hand it is Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: on getting all stressed out talking about effortlessness....
Liza Deischer: the one that ended in my lap yesterday
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Agatha Macbeth: What ended in your lap Liza?
Liza Deischer: (still have fur in my mouth :-))
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: hmm, I think eaven if people are enlightened, they need to storm sometimes. When it raises up naturally
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Wol Euler: yes, him :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Eh?
Wol Euler: gilles presents most often as a werewolf
Eliza Madrigal: Cosmic, yes I completely agree with you... thinking about the lines...
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: there are lots of beings who are so willing to love sun shine
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: but what then when thunder
    Wol Euler: hello fefonz
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Fef
    Eliza Madrigal: Hey Fef :)
    Wol Euler: and hello ara
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ara, too
Agatha Macbeth: What was Gilles doing on Liza's lap might i ask?
    arabella Ella: Hiya
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Ara
    Qt Core: hi fef, ara
    Wol Euler: being bitten :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Ara
Eliza Madrigal: Maybe he likes blondes
Liza Deischer: the problem is, it is hard for us to know what really happened
    Fefonz Quan: Hi everbody :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Who bit whom?
    --BELL--
Liza Deischer: was je just impolite
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Fonz :)
Agatha Macbeth: Better late than never :)
    Fefonz Quan: exactly :)
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Liza, he was astute and impolite :) It can be a regular thing in SL discussions actually...
Agatha Macbeth: Sounds like fun tho! :)
    Liza Deischer: hi Ara, Fonz
Eliza Madrigal: something I watch myself for... if a subject I feel invested in comes up and I go on and on over people, etc.
    Fefonz Quan: Hi Liza
Agatha Macbeth: Lot of group notices flying around tonight....
    arabella Ella: Hiya Liza
Mickorod Renard: well I am doing that sometimes too Eliza
Liza Deischer: You could be very right
    Agatha Macbeth: (Hard to concentrate)
Eliza Madrigal: the lines are funny, Mick... guess that's why I wondered what others' thoughts/observations were
Liza Deischer: Mick, to me there is a difference when a teacher is around
Mickorod Renard: when engrosed in ones own subject its not always easy to step back during the intensity of enthusiasm
arabella Ella: may i ask what lines you are talking about?
    arabella Ella: chat lines?
Eliza Madrigal: 'good' to be passionate
Liza Deischer: as a student you don't argue that easily with teachers
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, Ara I was asking what others thoughts were on enlightenment and manners at first...
Wol Euler: [13:20] Eliza Madrigal: Okay question... do manners come with enlightenment?
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Wol
    Wol Euler: yw
Eliza Madrigal: Then we started talking about manners in general I guess...
Eliza Madrigal: guess it is contextual in large part
Mickorod Renard: I think manners are something aquired,,but not always used in a natural way
Liza Deischer: I think so too Eliza
Agatha Macbeth: Manners are different things in different cultures...
Liza Deischer: If i understand it right, it was a buddist setting with a teacher
Mickorod Renard: people learn that it can be advantagious to have manners
Agatha Macbeth: And different standards too
Eliza Madrigal: yes... well that's what sparked my thinking
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: hmm, and also I think there comes a variety of beings state of awareness
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: some people might be like a "battle fields" only by them selves
Eliza Madrigal: Cosmic said something which reminded me of 'wrath' discussions we've had... that there are appropriate times to be ill-mannered, too :)
Agatha Macbeth: Yep I've known some of them :)
Liza Deischer: Normally, in a buddhist setting, you don't be impolite with a teacher
Eliza Madrigal nods @ Cosmic.. haha
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: and still we can be enlightened
    Liza Deischer: yep
Eliza Madrigal: yes there seems a different between knowing protocols and being well-mannered/gracious, too
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: if someone do use help against , then its better raise a thunder
    Eliza Madrigal: *Difference
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: or turn head to see something else and take 1000 steps foward ;)
    Wol Euler: hello alf
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Alfred :)
Mickorod Renard: it may not be natural to suppress ones feelings, and wrath may be the best option in some cases
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Alf
    Liza Deischer: hi Alf
Fefonz Quan: Considering 'wrath', i thought one point is that good manners and 'being 'nice' are two different things
    arabella Ella: Hi Alfred!
    Qt Core: hi alfred
    Eliza Madrigal: Yes, true Fef
Alfred Kelberry: sorry, i lag badly
    Aubergine Mint: hi alfred
Alfred Kelberry: good to see you all
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Alfred
    Liza Deischer: true Fonz
Alfred Kelberry: special greetings to fef :)
Eliza Madrigal has often been nice as a way of avoiding something when it might have been more compassionate to be wrathful
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: hmm, good manner is also let be, let others be like they want
Alfred Kelberry: i'd hug you, but i don't have the animation :)
Agatha Macbeth: Been gardening again Alf?
    Cosmicflower Ushimawa: hmm,
Alfred Kelberry: same old tulips, ara :)
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: avoiding for example an argue, and being nice
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: well, if feeling there is something need to take in light
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: I think its beter let it out
Liza Deischer: That's very western to avoid discussion
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: when it comes natural way
    Liza Deischer: being too polite
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Agatha Macbeth: True Liza :)
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: but that feeling of "trying" to be nice
    Alfred Kelberry: /hug
Agatha Macbeth: Who are you hugging Alf?
Mickorod Renard: avoiding ignition in heated moments is usually seen as a good option
Cosmicflower Ushimawa: tels something that need to do a bit work with the issue, kind of be brave to say
    Alfred Kelberry: /hug Fefonz
Alfred Kelberry: er.. trying to hug fef :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh, ok :-)
    Fefonz Quan: Yes
Alfred Kelberry: wol gave me this hug thingy :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: (Sorry I asked....)
Wol Euler: the hug-ee has to stand and face you first, alf
Eliza Madrigal: Doesn't fef have to arise to be hugged?
Fefonz Quan: for me Alf is a white cloud anyway :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hug-ee!
Alfred Kelberry: why, aga? a perfectly legitimate question :)
    Eliza Madrigal giggles... interesting
    arabella Ella: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: ROTFLMAO
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
    Agatha Macbeth: Sorry :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Just me.....
arabella Ella: that is so sweet ... except for the fact that Alfred is still a cloud for me
    Alfred Kelberry: aw..
Eliza Madrigal: sweet to be hugged by a cloud
    Agatha Macbeth: A hugging cloud?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Liza Deischer: I can see you Alf :-)
Fefonz Quan: yes, that was a nice cloudy hug :)
Eliza Madrigal: 'I see you' Alfred
    Liza Deischer: and your tulips
Alfred Kelberry: i hope you all can "see" me, though :)
Agatha Macbeth: A cloud with tulips, better yet....
Fefonz Quan: (looks like someone saw 'Avatar')
Liza Deischer: well, by now we know you're there :-)
arabella Ella: we feel your presence Alfred definitely
Agatha Macbeth: slaps herself silly and tries to regain composure
    --BELL--
Alfred Kelberry: fef, yes, indeed. although, i did not think of it :)
Alfred Kelberry: mmm.. good time to calm down, look around, and appreciate being here with you :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ommmmmmmmmm
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
arabella Ella: or just appreciate Being
    Liza Deischer: :-)

    Alfred Kelberry nods
Fefonz Quan: play as bing :)
Alfred Kelberry: aga is certainly in a playing mood :)
