Riddle Sideways: I have not had a new computer in 5 years
Riddle Sideways: well work ones
Geoff Baily: two lifetimes
Geoff Baily: in this techy world
Riddle Sideways: son and I built this out of the best parts we could find

Riddle Sideways: it is like I can see SL in a new way
Geoff Baily: so luckyto be able to do that
Geoff Baily: more envy!!
Geoff Baily: i am told my laptop is too small for Sl when I log on, but it works!
Riddle Sideways: who told you that
Riddle Sideways: ah the reverse of envy

Geoff Baily: SL log on system flags it up
Riddle Sideways: ooo
Geoff Baily: graphics card too small, and it cant be changed
Geoff Baily: my little compute shop says the card is welded into this laptop
Riddle Sideways: most are built into motherboard
Geoff Baily: yes, bought it cheap lasr summer before I found SL!
Riddle Sideways: so we can envy others their new computer, car, house, candy jar, etc.
Riddle Sideways: reverse: tell others they should go get the latest thing
Geoff Baily: think I will have to get a new one sometime soon
Geoff Baily: yes tell them so
Riddle Sideways: but when your own software turns on you...
Riddle Sideways: telling you it needs a bigger better ...
Geoff Baily: ah you mean its the selfinterest of the software?
Riddle Sideways: something like that

Riddle Sideways: says it needs more, bigger, better
Riddle Sideways: each new version of life

Geoff Baily: and Smaller, Mobile, Faster......
Riddle Sideways: was in an airport. a TV told me I needed a such-n-such product
Riddle Sideways: I did not even know what that was
Riddle Sideways: but was not living right without it
Geoff Baily: yes I have that feeling too of losing track of the leading edge of consumerism
Geoff Baily: loosing*
Riddle Sideways: I was way off the path for some time
Geoff Baily: like a new culture each few monthe
Riddle Sideways: but lately I did tooooo much checking up
Geoff Baily: with a new language with all the acronyms
Riddle Sideways: new computer, new car, new guitar, new job, new smartphone
Riddle Sideways: all in 3 months
Geoff Baily: envy again!

Riddle Sideways: it now seems that a 90 sec hole is sooooo large

Riddle Sideways: in passing we'll find thoose wholes

Riddle Sideways: now they know how many wholes in albert hall
