[01:02] Adams Rubble: Hello Wol :)
[01:03] Wol Euler: good morning, adams!
[01:03] Wol Euler: asuming this is morning already :)
[01:03] Adams Rubble: It is still night here :)

[01:04] Adams Rubble: I was awake tinking about a technical/security problem and thought I'd stop in
    [01:04] Wol Euler nods.
[01:04] Wol Euler: always nice to see you, though I don't wish insomnia on anyone
[01:05] Adams Rubble: not quite insominia, just tried to fix a problem
[01:05] Adams Rubble: I am locked out of an important email account I need
    [01:05] Wol Euler: oops

[01:05] Adams Rubble: nice to see you too
    [01:05] Adams Rubble: :)
[01:06] Adams Rubble: nice to suprise you
    [01:06] Wol Euler: indeed :)

[01:06] Adams Rubble: do you get many visitors?
[01:06] Wol Euler: it varies. Seldom more than two, often none at all
[01:07] Adams Rubble: it is good of you to keep the place going :)
    [01:08] Wol Euler smiles modestly.
[01:08] Wol Euler: I just turn up and do my bit.
    [01:08] Adams Rubble: :)
[01:09] Wol Euler: how's the new year treating you?
[01:09] Adams Rubble: Pretty well I think :)

[01:10] Adams Rubble: Hello Yaku :)
    [01:10] Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning
[01:10] Adams Rubble: How about you?
[01:10] Wol Euler: good morning, yaku
[01:10] Wol Euler: I'm sick as the proverbial dog, alas; otherwise it's good
[01:11] Adams Rubble: ohh, sorry to hear that.
    [01:11] Wol Euler: thank you
[01:11] Adams Rubble: and you are here for everyone
[01:11] Wol Euler: well, it's not as though I had to leave home and walk in the rain to do this
    [01:11] Wol Euler smiles.
    [01:11] Adams Rubble: hehe
[01:12] Wol Euler: whereas going to work at noon *does* involve that, and is taken for granted
[01:12] Adams Rubble: sigh, yes work

[01:13] Adams Rubble: even though work is good there always seems to be some effort getting oneself started on getting there
[01:13] Wol Euler: I don't mind the work itself so much as being taken for granted
[01:14] Adams Rubble: well good friend, being taken for granted beats not being wanted
    [01:14] Wol Euler: ha :)
    [01:14] Wol Euler: fair enough

[01:14] Yakuzza Lethecus: whispers I experiment with an android viewer right now
    [01:14] Adams Rubble: :)
    [01:16] Adams Rubble yawns
    [01:16] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:17] Yakuzza Lethecus: you couldn't sleep I didn't go to bed yet
    [01:17] Adams Rubble: oh my
    [01:17] Wol Euler: O.O
[01:18] Wol Euler: I hope you don't have any plans for today
[01:19] Adams Rubble thinking about being taken for granted

[01:20] Wol Euler: happy new year, Hana!
[01:20] Adams Rubble: it is a compliment to one's work
[01:20] Adams Rubble: Hello Hana :)
[01:20] Wol Euler: hearing "good work, thank you" would be a more welcome compliment
[01:20] Hana Furlough: happy new year, yaku, adams, wol!
[01:20] Wol Euler: hearing "oh my god, you are raelly sick, go home and get better" would be welcome too
[01:20] Yakuzza Lethecus: Good morning Hana
[01:21] Adams Rubble: thank you Hana, you too
[01:21] Adams Rubble: yes, that would be ncie
    [01:21] Adams Rubble: nice
[01:22] Wol Euler: instead I get a quarter hour of browbeating until I cave in, and when I there they think "well she can't really be sick, else she would have stayed home"
    [01:22] Wol Euler growls.
    [01:22] Adams Rubble: :(
[01:23] Hana Furlough: hope you feel better, wol
[01:23] Wol Euler: thank you, hana
[01:23] Adams Rubble: we appreciate you here, Wol
[01:23] Wol Euler: oh that reminds me, haven't had my pills yet this morning. Back in a bit
[01:23] Wol Euler: talk amongst yourselves :)
    [01:23] Adams Rubble: :)

[01:23] Adams Rubble: talk talk talk
[01:24] Yakuzza Lethecus: Prata prata prata
    [01:25] Hana Furlough: 云々
    [01:26] Adams Rubble: cloud?
[01:26] Hana Furlough: looks like it!
    [01:27] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:27] Hana Furlough: actually "and so on..."
    [01:27] Adams Rubble: ahhh

[01:27] Wol Euler: hana, what's new in Japan?
    [01:27] Adams Rubble: usw
    [01:27] Hana Furlough: not much
[01:27] Hana Furlough: new year's celebrations were very nice
    [01:27] Adams Rubble: :)
[01:27] Hana Furlough: now it's back to work
[01:28] Hana Furlough: but we have a three day weekend, so that is good too
    [01:28] Adams Rubble: yaaay
    [01:28] Wol Euler: great :)

[01:28] Hana Furlough: how are things in germany?
    [01:28] Wol Euler: unseasonably warm
    [01:28] Hana Furlough: oh dear...
[01:28] Wol Euler: busy until thursday evening (competition)
    [01:29] Hana Furlough: oh
[01:29] Hana Furlough: hang in there!
    [01:29] Wol Euler: yeah
[01:29] Wol Euler: it looks pretty good, but here is still a huge amount of drawing to do (i.e. all three pages)
[01:31] Hana Furlough: i shall be rooting for you!
    [01:31] Adams Rubble: :)
    [01:31] Adams Rubble: me too
[01:32] Wol Euler: thank you, my dears <3

[01:32] Adams Rubble: It is really nice to see you but I am afraid I must go back to bed
[01:32] Adams Rubble: or I will be cranky tomorrow
[01:33] Adams Rubble: good night all and have a good day or eveing :)
    [01:33] Adams Rubble: namaste
[01:33] Wol Euler: sleep well, dear adams
    [01:33] Yakuzza Lethecus: Goodnight Adams
[01:33] Hana Furlough: good night, adams!
[01:33] Wol Euler: and I hope you get back online soon

[01:34] Hana Furlough: is there a theme this week?
[01:36] Wol Euler: I'm not sure.
[01:37] Hana Furlough: theme of no theme?
    [01:38] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:38] Wol Euler: themeless, themeless in the night (or morning)
    [01:39] Hana Furlough: hahaha
[01:44] Wol Euler: themeless and speechless

[01:44] Yakuzza Lethecus: Well I learned about the expression of rooting
    [01:46] Wol Euler: oh?
[01:46] Yakuzza Lethecus: No I only knew it in the context of rooting a device not rooting for someone
[01:47] Wol Euler: oh I see :) heheheheh
[01:48] Wol Euler: I wonder where it comes from, actually
[01:48] Hana Furlough: yeah, good question
[01:50] Wol Euler: just one of those expressions that one picks up in one's childhood and never examines

[01:50] Yakuzza Lethecus: Well in German we also have the expression of tief mit jemandem verbunden zu sein guess it's very close to rooting
[01:52] Yakuzza Lethecus: while verwurzelt zu sein means more to be stuck to a location
[01:52] Wol Euler: it's not quite the same. Tief verbunden is a deep soul connection, whereas rooting for is temporary and superficial, you could say it to a stranger on the bus
[01:53] Wol Euler: more like "fingers crossed" in lack of intensity
[01:53] Wol Euler: the more I think about it,the odder it seems (rooting for somebody)
[01:55] Yakuzza Lethecus: Best after all I also drücke dir die Daumen

[01:55] Wol Euler: yes, the german "fingers crossed" is "I'll squeeze my thumbs for you" :)
[01:56] Wol Euler: I always find that amusing
[01:56] Wol Euler: no, I squeeze YOUR thumbs :)
    [01:56] Hana Furlough: haha cute!

[01:56] Wol Euler: why is that lucky? :)

[01:56] Yakuzza Lethecus: Exactly the same I have no clue what that is thinking of it also makes it very strange
[01:58] Wol Euler: my dears, I will have to leave at the bell, sorry to say
[01:58] Wol Euler: work calls, and before it chores must be done
[01:59] Wol Euler: I wish you both pleasant weekends, and Yaku: get some sleep :)
[01:59] Yakuzza Lethecus: Okay have a good weekend and I have a good week after all and of course thumbs up
[01:59] Hana Furlough: i should get going too
[01:59] Hana Furlough: nice chatting with you both
    [01:59] Wol Euler snorts.
    [01:59] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:59] Hana Furlough: yes, thumbs up!
[01:59] Wol Euler: gesture fail :)
