Lucinda Lavender: I am also listening to a ted talk on connectomes
    Lucinda Lavender: neuroconnectivity
Lucinda Lavender: should I look for the link?
Lila Darkmatter: I may have listened to that one... connectdomes?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
Lucinda Lavender: we need not get into it just wanted to mention it
Lila Darkmatter: like dome web of connections... good talk
    Lucinda Lavender: seems so...
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, have gotten out of the TED-a-day cycle
    Lila Darkmatter: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: :) me too
    Riddle Sideways: like one-a-day vitamins
Lila Darkmatter: that one is classic, but yes strange... I think TED is no longer the big thing
    Lucinda Lavender: really? what then?
Lucinda Lavender: I mean what now?
    --BELL--

Lila Darkmatter: not sure - what are you both doing instead of TED?
Lucinda Lavender: not much...watching mysteries and nova on tv some of the time...when not singing and yogaing and dream circleing and checking on relatives
    Lila Darkmatter smiles
    Lila Darkmatter: lazy luci, hah
Lucinda Lavender: and putting email into the trash
Lila Darkmatter: I've been watching TV too... Downton, Sherlock
Lucinda Lavender: yes both of those are on Sunday evening here...and Elementary
    Lucinda Lavender: on thursday
    Lucinda Lavender: i like mysteries
    Riddle Sideways: back, sorry
Lucinda Lavender: we are just sharing about things we do when not exploring TED
Lila Darkmatter: I wasn't that fond of mysteries before, but there is something about Sherlock that I really like... and oddly, Homeland, which really wouldn't have been my taste at some point
Lila Darkmatter: maybe nice to surprise oneself
Riddle Sideways: if to watch TV Mystery is the best
Lucinda Lavender: i have heard that reading mysteries is partly about finding the truth and Justice inside the story
Riddle Sideways: the new Sherlock is pretty good
    Lila Darkmatter nods
Lucinda Lavender: yes...and I like Foyles War
Lucinda Lavender: the cautious way he listens
Riddle Sideways: in the new Lewis ones now
    Lila Darkmatter: not familiar
Bleu Oleander: 's current display-name is "Bleu".
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Bleu :)
    Lila Darkmatter: Hi Bleu :)
Lucinda Lavender: set in England around the 2nd world war and after
    Bleu Oleander: hi :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Bleu:)
Lucinda Lavender: we are talking about tv:)
    Lucinda Lavender: mysteries
Lila Darkmatter: or "what are you doing instead of TED talks", hah
    Bleu Oleander: don't watch much
Riddle Sideways: have seen a couple blu people today that didn't let you now
Lucinda Lavender: I had watched a TED Talk on Connectomes this eve
Riddle Sideways: every once in a while there is that stop and veg in front of something entertaining
Lila Darkmatter: it may seem funny but I actually chose to find time to watch a few things on TV
Riddle Sideways: had a friend do a TED talk. And well, it was not very good. How to tell her that. didn't
    Lila Darkmatter: smart, Riddle :)
Lucinda Lavender: I can understand that...
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Lila Darkmatter: why wasn't it good? hard to fit content into 20 minutes?
Riddle Sideways: like making a time slot to watch superbowl
Riddle Sideways: even though it is Seatle
Lila Darkmatter will not be doing that :)
    Bleu Oleander: me either :)
Lila Darkmatter: but I promised Storm to root for Broncos anyway
Lucinda Lavender: I have to say...that today in Seattle people are smiling and looking at each other alot...while we wait in lines, park cars, etc
Riddle Sideways: son, tells me teh ENTIRE Seattle is all #12
Lila Darkmatter: there can be a really great energy around these events
    Lucinda Lavender: pretty much
Lucinda Lavender: the children at my school are all wound up too
Riddle Sideways: and watching the new adverts
    Lila Darkmatter: really? little ones?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...wearing jerseys even
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Lucinda Lavender: and we created a take away game of blue and green /football things
    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: next is Olympics...we shall be following that as well having our own...including a ceremony with a gold necklace to wear and an interview about what they eat to get ready, and what they will compete in:)
    Lila Darkmatter: nice!
Riddle Sideways: ah Olympic readiness foods
Lila Darkmatter: we'll watch Olympics too, mostly because son is studying Russia this year
Lucinda Lavender: ie, monkey bars, throwing a ball up the silde, running, hanging from a bar for seconds etc
    Lila Darkmatter: haha, great
    Bleu Oleander: sounds fun Luci!
Riddle Sideways: competitive Monkey bars :)
Lucinda Lavender: should be:)...backwards and forwards:)
Lila Darkmatter: hm, last time I was on monkey bars was about 5 years ago! too long!
Lucinda Lavender: so I hear tomorrow we will offer some activities at the Molecule theater!
Lucinda Lavender: That sounds fun too!
Riddle Sideways: nothing more ... than to have your kids get you on the Monkey bars and ya fall
    Lila Darkmatter smiles
Riddle Sideways: or Sunday or both
Lila Darkmatter: I hope so, Luci, although there aren't plans really... just thought getting into the environment might inspire us
    Lila Darkmatter: yes Sunday
Lila Darkmatter: guardian session and Aph's session
    Lucinda Lavender: I think so!!
Bleu Oleander: will be nice to re-visit
Lucinda Lavender: yes...fond memory of seeing the play there
Lila Darkmatter: I heard from someone that people in SL play "primsionary" sometimes
Lucinda Lavender: can you say more?
    Riddle Sideways: ?
Lila Darkmatter: which sounded fun.... like pictionary or charades...
    Lucinda Lavender: how that works?
    Lila Darkmatter: but with prims
Lila Darkmatter: building and people have to guess
    Lucinda Lavender: that's cool!
Lila Darkmatter: it might be fun to play a bit more in unusual ways
Riddle Sideways: ha, would be good at that. NONE of the prims turn out like the intended
    Lila Darkmatter: hahhaha
    Bleu Oleander: lol
Lila Darkmatter: it would at least be fun.... so few of us are expert builders
Lucinda Lavender: i barely remember how to rez things
    Bleu Oleander: ha ha!
Bleu Oleander: would come back to u
Lucinda Lavender: would anyone like to show us an example?
Riddle Sideways: please don't talk like this. Bleu will have an art project for us
    Lila Darkmatter: hahah
Lila Darkmatter: we can hope :)
    Bleu Oleander: haha!
    Lucinda Lavender: :)))
    Lucinda Lavender: we can hope
Bleu Oleander: we'll have to come up with one soon
    Riddle Sideways: why?
    Bleu Oleander: why not?

Lila Darkmatter: just throw out ideas and figure out they work later
Bleu Oleander: I think that's the right order :)
Lila Darkmatter: the balloon is still near the treehouse ?
    Lila Darkmatter: little one?
Lucinda Lavender: we could go do a trila approach...
Bleu Oleander: hmmm haven't checked in a while
    Lucinda Lavender: trial
Riddle Sideways: it can be anything
    Lila Darkmatter: oh, sure
Riddle Sideways: the raw stuff of creation
Lila Darkmatter: okay so... is this a..... black box?
