Daedalus687 Resident: Or maybe its not...i dont know enough of butterfly, I assume their body(or part of it) remains the same, they just get wings?
Catrinamonblue Resident: no they metamorph their whole being to change from caterpillar to butterfly

Catrinamonblue Resident: it is a marvelous process that fascinates me :) and I relate it to my own life and how I have changed and grown over the years.

Daedalus687 Resident: I cant quite get a sense of its size of the fly itself from the photos. Was it pretty big?
