The Guardian for this meeting was Gaya Ethaniel. The comments are by Gaya Ethaniel.

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey Gaya
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning
Gaya Ethaniel: Good morning Yakuzza :)
Gaya Ethaniel: How are you today?
Yakuzza Lethecus: fine, enough coffee but it´s my last day off
Yakuzza Lethecus: I was supposed to work again today but my boss got some personal issues
Yakuzza Lethecus: so I start with one of my coworkers again on tomorrow
Yakuzza Lethecus: the other 2 start again next week
Gaya Ethaniel: ah ... hope you had a pleasant day today then especially :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, I try to elaborate the thought that happiness and pleasantness is an own decission
Yakuzza Lethecus: so it will be pleasant :)
    Gaya Ethaniel listens.
Yakuzza Lethecus: but, sure it doesn´t always work that well :D
Yakuzza Lethecus: nah, but I believe that's true
    Gaya Ethaniel thinks ...
Yakuzza Lethecus: I think much about emotional control and why can it happen that for some people even watching tv or smoking or whatever can be pleasant and can we elaborate and reach those motivation systems mentally ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: obviously smoking got nicotine
    Gaya Ethaniel nods and listens.
Yakuzza Lethecus: but some people get an pleasant feeling through gambling so without any physical substances involved so a pleasant feeling must be reachable in some sense when we are getting pleasant feelings through different kinds of media or other areas' of our reality
Yakuzza Lethecus: so it's not very well elaborated for me to talk about that
    Gaya Ethaniel nods.
Yakuzza Lethecus: I just try to explain those blurry thoughts
Yakuzza Lethecus: but in the end I believe happiness is an decision" :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but how concencenessly reachable that decision is...
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes it takes some practices.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i arg that word
Yakuzza Lethecus: can you write concencenessly
Gaya Ethaniel: Do you mean consciously?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: thanks :D
    Gaya Ethaniel: yw :)
Gaya Ethaniel: I do agree there is mental and emotional parts as you described.
    Gaya Ethaniel: With nicotine etc.

    --BELL--

    Gaya Ethaniel thinks ...
Yakuzza Lethecus: thanks for correcting that too
Gaya Ethaniel: Don't worry about spelling, I understand what you're saying :)
Gaya Ethaniel: It is true ... feeling unhappy/happy is relative and depends on how much one notices ... sometimes even obviously pleasurable activities can be not so.
Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah, but correcting is important since I might learn not to make those errors :P
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Though I didn't mean to correct you :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: so interesting especially here is always the issue to feel better
Gaya Ethaniel: Just my typing ...
Gaya Ethaniel thinks ... "feel better ..."
Yakuzza Lethecus: to get a higher self awareness
Yakuzza Lethecus: and I even think about psychosomatic medicine in this context
Gaya Ethaniel: I think if I'm in pain, for example, wanting to feel better probably makes me feel worse than needed.
Yakuzza Lethecus: because there is truth that many illnesses are enforced by a lack of self awareness
    Gaya Ethaniel: What's psychosamtic?
Yakuzza Lethecus: the influence of the mind to the body
Yakuzza Lethecus: I am not a specialist
Yakuzza Lethecus: I am just curious and would even like to know more about these topics
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah ...
Yakuzza Lethecus: problem is the problem of truth, i like scientific information
Gaya Ethaniel: I actually have a book on that but haven't read it "Why Do People Get Ill?"
Yakuzza Lethecus: since there are even around second life so many lightworker
    Yakuzza Lethecus: and whatever
    Gaya Ethaniel: Lightworker?
    Gaya Ethaniel: What is lightworker?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: sry cellphone
    Gaya Ethaniel: np :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: I don´t know that much what lightworkers are but I have prejudices that they are pseudoscientific mystic healing people :P
    Yakuzza Lethecus: lol
Gaya Ethaniel: ah ... healers you mean.
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s a pretty prejudiced picture I have :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah
Gaya Ethaniel: Well I'm pretty sceptical about people who claim to be healers in SL too ...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah
Yakuzza Lethecus: my problem is that I am just curious and I like to hear about those topics without creating a clear conclusion
    Gaya Ethaniel nods.
Yakuzza Lethecus: but it's important to have heard about these issues of emotions
Yakuzza Lethecus: to learn how to talk and especially know the words to find literature and to know how to elaborate on these topics
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes I think it's an important scientific topic.
Gaya Ethaniel decides to read the book soon :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: psych is so blurry
Gaya Ethaniel: Why do you think that?
Yakuzza Lethecus: I mean I hear so many lectures about philosophy and psychology but nothing is really clear often
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: so many correlations, statistical evidences but in the special case everything CAN be totally different ...
Gaya Ethaniel: I think they are difficult studies because each of us feel/experience differently.
Yakuzza Lethecus: the funny thing is that I just believe for example that philosophy provides us with a language to express emotions and to talk about different perceptions
    Gaya Ethaniel nods.
Yakuzza Lethecus: I think about so many things, even that how to correct people by the way"
Yakuzza Lethecus: so just type something in the right way might be better then this is wrong!" do this nicotine"
    Gaya Ethaniel: Correct people?
Yakuzza Lethecus: I mean the correct use of words and might be correct people automatically
Yakuzza Lethecus: it's like here in Germany we are not supposed to say ,,was?"
Yakuzza Lethecus: when we haven't understood something
Yakuzza Lethecus: in English it's ok to say ,,what?"
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah
Yakuzza Lethecus: but parents still use ,,was?" themselves
Yakuzza Lethecus: so they show and use that while they are also forbid their children sometimes :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah ...
Yakuzza Lethecus: I know that is far away from the topic before :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: that just came to mind :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Well ... it doesn't matter :)
Gaya Ethaniel: A guardian here often says "Whatever arises, arises perfectly."
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: by the way what do you work ?
    Gaya Ethaniel: Job you mean?
Yakuzza Lethecus: when I remember you studied history ?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: or archeology ?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah
    Yakuzza Lethecus: job
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes I did that at university. Now I work for a small IT company as a designer and all sorts of other stuff thrown in :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: And how did you end up in Britain :P
Gaya Ethaniel: I came to UK to study at the university :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: I never left Germany for longer.
Gaya Ethaniel: Overseas is overrated in some sense :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Much to be found within too :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, yeah actually I believe that, it would be nice to have been somewhere overseas but that YOU have vacation doesn't make to people have time and show their true opinions and behavior
Yakuzza Lethecus: I think in that sense it's even better to get in contact to people through second life because you know them longer and they aren't supposed to be happy because they are working in a tourist place or something
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes, I've met some genuine people in SL.
Yakuzza Lethecus: ok, have a nice morning
Gaya Ethaniel: Enjoy your day off Yakuzza :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye
Gaya Ethaniel: Bye for now :)
