The Guardian for this meeting was Gaya Ethaniel. The comments are by Gaya Ethaniel.

    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Lucinda :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Gaya!
    Gaya Ethaniel: How are you?
    Lucinda Lavender: Doing ok...
Lucinda Lavender: Last day of school for me
    Lucinda Lavender: and you?
Gaya Ethaniel: ah :) Summer starts for you then soon. I'm well thanks :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: good morning :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Gaya, hi Lucinda
Gaya Ethaniel: I read the wiki page about Dream Circle in which you wrote about a dream with collapsing building etc.
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi SophiaSharon
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Sharon :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Yes...
Lucinda Lavender: I hope it does not seem to extreme...
SophiaSharon Larnia: I love it Lucinda :)
Gaya Ethaniel: I enjoyed reading it, thanks :)
Lucinda Lavender: glad to hear it..
Lucinda Lavender: I was not sure what would come out of my head...in writing it.
SophiaSharon Larnia: thats the funnest way to write
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I was trying to trust...
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Much like meditating :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Arch, nice skin!
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Arch :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Arch
Archmage Atlantis: hello Gaya, SophiaSharon, Lucinda
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Fael
    Fael Innovia: Hello Everyone :)
Archmage Atlantis: I have lost non-human friends, and this is my mourning
Gaya Ethaniel: I'd love to hear more about how you write Lucinda in the context you mentioned before.
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Fael :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hello Fael...
Lucinda Lavender: I guess I was asking myself questions...putting myself as an explorer in the dream...so when it came to describing the dream it seemed a way to convey the story.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: as an observer?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes....
Gaya Ethaniel: It corresponds to how one would comment on dreams in the circle :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Archmage Atlantis: That is a reasonable approach
Gaya Ethaniel: Taking a different perspective or broadening a view ... :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Or not taking any position at all!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes

    --BELL--

    Lucinda Lavender: be right back
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Yaku :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Yaku :)
Archmage Atlantis: We always take a position, at least so far as I can tell.......We are sometimes blind to that position
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes we are sometimes
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi all
Archmage Atlantis: Hi, until you nod off, Yaku
Gaya Ethaniel: Sometimes by doing so, one may also impose labels on others.
    Archmage Atlantis: Very accurate Gaya
Lucinda Lavender: I think about this
Archmage Atlantis: I have been attempting to create an alt,,,,,,,,It is not working so well
Archmage Atlantis: I cannot unbe me
    Fael Innovia: Hi Yaku :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi fael
Fael Innovia: why would you have to "unbe" you to create an alt?
Gaya Ethaniel: It's a big topic Arch ... what do you mean by 'being me'?
Archmage Atlantis: Being me, it is all I have experienced in this life, to hide or mask some of it, that is not me
Archmage Atlantis: That is why I wear this skin as me, not as another
Gaya Ethaniel: hm ... outer form always changes ... does it affect 'Being'?
Archmage Atlantis: To unbe, that is to not see who I am. as a decision,
Fael Innovia: now a question... how do you avoid masking any of you? Is it possible to not mask anything?
Fael Innovia: and is it from you yourself or others?
Archmage Atlantis: I do not always see all I am, but there is no decision involved
Gaya Ethaniel: There is always a decision whether one is aware or not ...
Fael Innovia: question, why are you trying to decide that with your alt?
Archmage Atlantis: It is both, Fael
    Archmage Atlantis: More from others
Archmage Atlantis: But also from oneself
Fael Innovia: why not just be what you are with the alt too?

    --BELL--

Gaya Ethaniel: You said you can't be you in an alt, that sheds lights on how you are in your current form perhaps.
    Archmage Atlantis: Perhaps, Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel: Anyway, why limit oneself with appearances?
Gaya Ethaniel: Appearances are something to appreciate and perhaps see something different ... not something to narrow down.
Archmage Atlantis: An alt to me, is another soul
Gaya Ethaniel: Of course if you're plan to be a troublemaker by using an alt that's a different stroy :P
    Archmage Atlantis: Another being
Fael Innovia scratches her head 'what's the point of deciding something like that?'
Gaya Ethaniel nods. It's so unPaB :P
SophiaSharon Larnia: whoops sorry i moved :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Ah, PaB has rules......that can be measured......thus something can be PaB, or unPaB
Gaya Ethaniel: Don't be a troublemaker Arch! :P
    Archmage Atlantis: k
SophiaSharon Larnia: the only rules im aware of are openess to what people are saying
    Archmage Atlantis: silence is golden
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: Lucinda is thinking about the idea of the universe being made new continually in some sense.
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, me too Lucinda :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: and from a physic aspect, it really is
Lucinda Lavender: Maybe each alt is a representation of a new gift to deliver
Gaya Ethaniel: I've been thinking about that a lot recently, looking at the sky. Clouds forming and dissipating, never the same ... through how weather is affected by everything on earth.
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes like a new prism :)
Lucinda Lavender: Was just sing at work yesterday a song that goes...My mind is a clear blue sky...
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: But the cloud formations...so wonderful
    Lucinda Lavender: all about change
Fael Innovia: Arch, I think what Gaya was trying to say with unPaB was that she feels you don't fit in.
    Gaya Ethaniel: eh?
    Fael Innovia: am I wrong?
Gaya Ethaniel: You're wrong about that.
SophiaSharon Larnia: I’ve been thinking the last few days of shiva's dance as being the dance of matter (subatomic particles) as stated in the tao of physics :)
    Gaya Ethaniel giggles.
Archmage Atlantis: I do not mind leaving
Archmage Atlantis: If that is want others wish
Gaya Ethaniel: Sorry Fael ... you're usually right about many things that's why I giggled :)
Fael Innovia: No problem, I do have my moments too :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oh my
    Gaya Ethaniel: ooops
Fael Innovia: oh, he's touchy today.
Gaya Ethaniel: I meant one tries to see what appears each moment rather than having a fixed idea about something at PaB ...
Fael Innovia: I'll follow him :)
Fael Innovia: have fun everyone :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Do you have a youtube link for that song by the way Lucinda?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Arch
    Gaya Ethaniel: Bye :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Fael
Fael Innovia: Sorry about that :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: I'm sorry too.
    Lucinda Lavender: Hmmm
Gaya Ethaniel: Sharon, did you see the talk between Pema and Shekhar Kapur? Kapur talks about the image of Shiva dancing there a lot.
SophiaSharon Larnia: no where is it??
Gaya Ethaniel: Let me get it ... one moment
    SophiaSharon Larnia: thank you!!

    --BELL--

Gaya Ethaniel: It's on top of the page - http://mise-en-scene.wikia.com/wiki/..._Shekhar_Kapur
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ty ty ty
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: But in what aspect of Shiva's dance interests you Sharon?
SophiaSharon Larnia: where to start hmm
SophiaSharon Larnia: the idea that Shiva is one of the oldest figures in Hinduism
SophiaSharon Larnia: pointing to an instinctual awareness
SophiaSharon Larnia: on the nature of reality vs a rational one
SophiaSharon Larnia: and the idea of energy flowing like that ceaselessly
SophiaSharon Larnia: all part of the same system
Gaya Ethaniel chews slowly what Sharon said ... :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: the same oneness
SophiaSharon Larnia: all parts of energy being dependent in some fundamental way on eveything else
SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry about the typos :)
Gaya Ethaniel: You described really well how I see 'one' and 'many' are different aspects of same :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: i wish i could keep this picture in my mind when i interact with the world
SophiaSharon Larnia: but easy to be get caught up in it
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: Im reading this book and other, taking notes, but i dont have them with me :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: What's the title?
Lucinda Lavender: easy to get caught up in creating a position when perhaps afraid...of something
Gaya Ethaniel: I think fear goes together with that position.
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Eliza :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Eliza
SophiaSharon Larnia: tao of physics, holographic universe and the dreaming universe
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Gaya, Ya, Sharon, Lucinda... apologies
SophiaSharon Larnia: the i ching and i am that ;p
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: missed today but wanted to peek in anyway :))
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Eos :)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Eos
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Eos, a morning appearance for you :))
Lucinda Lavender: I have thought some about how explaining dream stuff ends up sounding like a position...
    SophiaSharon Larnia: lovely kimono Eliza!
Gaya Ethaniel: Thanks for the title Sharon :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Sharon :))
    Eos Amaterasu: HI SS, E, L, Y, G
Gaya Ethaniel: What do you mean Lucinda?
Lucinda Lavender: Well just to write about dream circle made me aware of hold a view
    Eliza Madrigal: Wow, Sharon :))
Gaya Ethaniel: Well, one always holds a view or another. What matters is what kind of view it is?
    Lucinda Lavender: Thanks Eliza
    Gaya Ethaniel: ty :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Yes.
SophiaSharon Larnia: appearances are distracting eh? :))
Lucinda Lavender: I hope to see my view as organic
    Lucinda Lavender: chnging
SophiaSharon Larnia: it took me a very long time to even understand what organic meant
Eliza Madrigal: Hm... organic, I like that
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: growing?
SophiaSharon Larnia: growing without being formed
    Lucinda Lavender: connecting
Gaya Ethaniel thinks one sees more and more in simple words as one matures :)
Eos Amaterasu: emerging from the field
    Lucinda Lavender: ah!

    --BELL--

Gaya Ethaniel needs to run. Have a good day everyone :)
    Eos Amaterasu: ~~
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Gaya!!
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Gaya :))
Eliza Madrigal: Seems like you all had an interesting discussion today
Eliza Madrigal: And Eos, unusual to see you on a Wed morning! :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Yes
    Eliza Madrigal: (oh, sorry bell)
Eos Amaterasu: I'm not 9 to 5-ing for the next while
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oh Eos?
    Lucinda Lavender: time to rest?
Eos Amaterasu: in between contracts/jobs, and ploughing the field a bit to see what could be turned over or turned up (organically :-)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Eliza Madrigal smiles... its a nice image
Lucinda Lavender: emerging from the field...
SophiaSharon Larnia: ive been off of work for a while now, and am just getting to that :)
Eos Amaterasu: Next week I'll be full tilt at the Alia program http://www.aliainstitute.org/program...mer/index.html
Eliza Madrigal: What will you be doing Eos, within the program... making sure things go smoothly?
SophiaSharon Larnia: very interesting Eos :))
Eos Amaterasu: I'm attending one "module" ("Embodying Power and Love")
    Lucinda Lavender: ll quietly leaving...
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Lucinda, nice to see you. Thanks for writing so much for the wiki, btw
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Lucinda :)
Eos Amaterasu: but also doing some work along the lines of turning the "Little Book of practice" into a "Little eBook of Practice"
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah!
    Eos Amaterasu: bye lucinda
    SophiaSharon Larnia: grins at Eos
    Lucinda Lavender: sure! thank you...
Eliza Madrigal is turning over the phrase 'embodying power and love'
Eos Amaterasu: Maybe an app for iPhone, iPad, Android :-)
SophiaSharon Larnia: two things that are hard for me to think belong in the same sentance
Eos Amaterasu: a practice/learning portal: the book becomes a curriculum becomes a distributed university
    SophiaSharon Larnia: sentence*
Eliza Madrigal: how interesting, and hm... yes I know what you mean Sharon. Often power sounds like 'power over'
Eos Amaterasu: From the module description: "Participants will have an opportunity to experience the energy patterns of reckless power and anemic love. "
    SophiaSharon Larnia: empowering...
SophiaSharon Larnia: on the other hand :)
Eos Amaterasu: "Then in contrast they will have an opportunity to experience power that is effective and magnetic — empowerment — and love that is enhanced and supported by the wisdom of the collective — inclusiveness."
    Eliza Madrigal: :))))
    Eliza Madrigal: Snap
Eliza Madrigal: love born of wisdom...
Eliza Madrigal: Is that introduced through meditative practices Eos, or group activity, or?
Eos Amaterasu: There is a theme of each person needing something like a meditation practice in their own personal warriorship (how to walk in th world gently yet fully aware) practice
SophiaSharon Larnia: ah! a definition of warrior
    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs :))
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm
SophiaSharon Larnia: i ve been stuck on that one
SophiaSharon Larnia: knowing i was one but not knowing how to phrase that
Eos Amaterasu: Also how to have confidence in the open journey, where there is an unfolding but you don't know ahead of time to what and where and how
    Eliza Madrigal: gentle yet decisive
Eos Amaterasu does see that SophiaSharon is indeed one (a warrior)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles, indeed
    SophiaSharon Larnia: haha
SophiaSharon Larnia: we all are to be here
    Eliza Madrigal: !
SophiaSharon Larnia: and i dont mean just this pavilion, either

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: warrior doesn't mean standing alone.... yet there is a sense of confidence in one's ground, in a way ...
Eliza Madrigal: like a footing, a stance?
SophiaSharon Larnia: being comfortable in having no footing
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eos Amaterasu: Aikido is one language for that
Eos Amaterasu: how to push, apply energy, receive it, all from "no-ground"
Eliza Madrigal: hm, leaning on/into no ground... yes there seems an initiative. I think i've often missed that part....
Eliza Madrigal: but I can't very well add aikido to the list of things to learn... heh... will have to learn from those who've learned...
SophiaSharon Larnia: i cant say im comfortable with it, find myself losing the floor ( figuratively) and distracting myself
    Eliza Madrigal: hmm, yes, relate
Eliza Madrigal: Still, sounds very exciting, what you will be a part of next week Eos
Eliza Madrigal: and so much richness in that little book :)
Eos Amaterasu: I'll be at Windhorse Farm for a day and a half at the end of the month
Eos Amaterasu: so will check the place out a bit more for the August retreat
SophiaSharon Larnia: i have several mixed feelings about the term Shambhala Warrior
SophiaSharon Larnia: hard to put in words
    Eos Amaterasu listens
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, say hello for us and let the trees know we'll see them soon (whatever soon might mean) :))
    Eliza Madrigal listens too
SophiaSharon Larnia: its a term that been used widely to mean different things
SophiaSharon Larnia: a warrior for a kind of utopia?
SophiaSharon Larnia: i suppose a utopia in physicality, if such a things could exist, i'll have to think more on this about what i mean :)
Eos Amaterasu: In a sense the term "shambhala", in referring to the myth of an enlightened kingdom, is referring to a kind of utopian vision
Eliza Madrigal: hm, I think of Shambhala as openness... so I suppose my sense is a kind of fearless openness
    SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
Eos Amaterasu: but I think it's taking that kind of vision that all human beings have as the seed
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm, nods
Eos Amaterasu: and then warriorship is first of all relating to where you are
Eos Amaterasu: (usually your current mess)
    Eliza Madrigal looks around
    Eos Amaterasu: heh heh
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hahah
Eos Amaterasu: and just relating to that
Eos Amaterasu: which means you kind of give in to that
Eos Amaterasu: you have to tolerate even yourself
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: sigh
Eos Amaterasu: so you're kind of broken-hearted
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ill say
Eos Amaterasu: and that's the start of the warrior's path
Eos Amaterasu: you are open, vulnerable
Eos Amaterasu: which means "there a whole world there for me to see"

    --BELL--

SophiaSharon Larnia thinks of starting at the end :)
SophiaSharon Larnia looks at the clock in surprise :)
    Eos Amaterasu: !
SophiaSharon Larnia: have to go :) bye for now !!!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: have fun :)
    Eos Amaterasu: Bye Sophia Sharon
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Sharon :))
Eos Amaterasu: I should also go and attend to a zillion things
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, I should go too... interesting note to set out on
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks :))
    Eos Amaterasu: bye Yak!
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye ya
    Eos Amaterasu: bye Eliza!
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Eos :)
