Pema Pera: hi Korel and Santo!

    Korel Laloix: Bozho

    Pema Pera: minus Santo?

    Pema Pera: how are you?

Korel Laloix: Cozy in my sleeping bag... it is raining.

Korel Laloix: Near some thunder in the distance.

    Korel Laloix: Hear

Pema Pera: oh, that sounds very cozy, on all three counts!

Korel Laloix: The wind has died down though.

    Pema Pera: hi Santo!

    Santoshima Resident: hi Pema :)

    Santoshima Resident: hi Korel

Korel Laloix: My tent is keeping me nice and warmand dry.

    Korel Laloix: Heya

Pema Pera: and you have internet connection in your tent?

    Korel Laloix: lol... cell connection.

    Korel Laloix: USB stick thing.

    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)

Korel Laloix: So a bit slow, but good for this.

    Santoshima Resident: hello Bleu :)

Pema Pera: ah, that's nice -- lots of freedom in nomadic presence :-)

Pema Pera: Hi Storm and Bleu!

    Storm Nordwind: Hi all

    Santoshima Resident: hey Storm

Korel Laloix: It is lovely really.

Pema Pera: Korel was describing life in a tent with an SL connection :)

    Storm Nordwind: Oh!

Korel Laloix: I amanged to get both my batteries charged up today, so I have some time to just relax.

Pema Pera: Thanks for your email, Bleu!

Korel Laloix: I am up on top of Elk Mounting in the Charons Garden Wilderness... lovely

    Bleu Oleander: yw!

    Bleu Oleander: sounds very interesting!

Pema Pera: I had to think back to our encounter in Princeton, three and a half years ago

    Bleu Oleander: ah yes :)

Pema Pera: with Adams there, and Fael

    Bleu Oleander: yes!

Pema Pera: was that the first time you heard about SL?

Bleu Oleander: not the first time

Bleu Oleander: but the first time I listened seriously

Pema Pera: (how long will you stay on the mountain, Korel?)

Pema Pera: do you have other NYC trips coming up, any time soon?

Bleu Oleander: yes actually, first week in May

Pema Pera: ah, I'll be in Japan then :(

Korel Laloix: Well, the issue ten permits per night.

    Bleu Oleander: :(

Korel Laloix: But I am the only one today...

    Pema Pera: only ten?

Korel Laloix: And if there is a wait, only three days.

Storm Nordwind thinks this is where Korel is: http://i.imgur.com/1Pz41.jpg

    Pema Pera: interesting system!

Pema Pera: hi Tess and Raffila!

Korel Laloix: THat look slike it.

    Pema Pera: :-)

    Bleu Oleander: hi Tess, Raffi

    Tess Aristocrat: hi ㋡

Storm Nordwind: Hi Raffila, Tess :)

Raffila Millgrove: hello everyone. (was waiting to group so got lost in.. looking at the art history musemum..) not a "rush thru" spot.

Pema Pera: it's a great place!

Pema Pera: both the building and the exhibition

Raffila Millgrove: yes.. so much in there. will take a long time to work way thru it.

Bleu Oleander: having fun exploring with Storm's treasure hunt

Pema Pera: Storm built it, and Adams made the exhibition

Bleu Oleander: has anyone tried the hunt yet?

Storm Nordwind: I wonder if Adams still has the prototype model I made

    Tess Aristocrat: I haven't

    Raffila Millgrove: not yet.

Raffila Millgrove: what are we hunting for?

Storm Nordwind: Let me quote you from the notes...

Bleu Oleander: its a bit harder than last years

Storm Nordwind: . PLAY AS BEING TREASURE HUNT 2012 Welcome to the second annual PaB treasure hunt. The idea is to encourage people to explore our village. Go by yourself or with a friend to share ideas. Do it in one go, or in bits when you have time. This is how it works: * Solve clues. Find objects. Click on objects for next clues. * All objects are different from each other and they're all in Bieup sim. * Each clue also gives you a mystery letter. * There are 9 clues to solve, 9 objects to find, and 9 mystery letters. * The last clue is different and you'll need to rearrange the mystery letters. *There's a prize for everyone who finishes! WINNERS!! There is a Roll of Honor for avatars who have successfully completed the Treasure Hunt and have claimed their prize. Click on the Roll of Honor sign next to this Treasure Chest to find out who.

    Bleu Oleander: no winners yet?

Storm Nordwind: Touch the treasure chest to the NW of the Anniversary Tree to start

Storm Nordwind: The Roll of Honor says no winners yet - but it's only been active 24 hours

Tess Aristocrat: Where exactly is that?

Storm Nordwind: And yes it's a little harder than last years (a) because you did it too quickly last year Bleu!, and (b) people have more time before the anniversary

    Tess Aristocrat: thanks bleu

    Bleu Oleander: haha!

    --BELL--

    Raffila Millgrove: ty for lm.

Storm Nordwind: Tess, if you take the shuttle train from here, it will take you to that area! :)

    Tess Aristocrat: ;P

Tess Aristocrat: *tries to maintain composure so as not to dash off in searchof Mystery Hunt!

    Bleu Oleander: ha!

    Raffila Millgrove: lol

Storm Nordwind: We can catch the shuttle after, and I'll show you where it is

Bleu Oleander: mystery prize ... may be worth dashing off for :)

Storm Nordwind: Rumor has it the prize is just a little better than last year's

Santoshima Resident: mesh feet? for example

    Tess Aristocrat: !!!

Raffila Millgrove: what was last year's?

Storm Nordwind: It was a rather crude crown

    Bleu Oleander: ha! San

Tess Aristocrat: I have no idea.. ㋡

Raffila Millgrove: oh i saw the crown... Para wore it? it was great.

Tess Aristocrat: I just love a puzzle ㋡

Bleu Oleander: maybe if I wear my crown from last year, this year's answer will come to me :)

    Tess Aristocrat: :0

    Storm Nordwind chuckles

Raffila Millgrove: do you have all the pieces already bleu to solve it?

Bleu Oleander: yes, stuck on the very last one

Bleu Oleander throws all the letters up in the air out of frustration

Storm Nordwind: As Bleu said, part of the fun is all the horse trading trying to persuade people to reveal their secrets!

    Pema Pera: :-)

    Pema Pera: Hi Steve!

    Bleu Oleander: hi steve :)

stevenaia Michinaga: hi Pema and all

    Storm Nordwind: Hi Steve

    Santoshima Resident: greetings stevenaia !

stevenaia Michinaga: nice to see my friends

stevenaia Michinaga: how is the evening going?

Pema Pera: did you do another outside taichi today, Steve?

stevenaia Michinaga: not today, was thinking about it before the sun set, but the day is not over yet, sun is setting somewhere

    Pema Pera: :-)

Pema Pera: it sure was an amazingly warm day again, T shirt weather in March, in our neck of the woods :)

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: yes, and nicer (warmer ) tomorrow

stevenaia Michinaga: the energy outside, plants blooming, flowers showing their colors, it;s an amazing sight so early

Korel Laloix: Battery dying.... take care all.

    Pema Pera: bye Korel!

    Storm Nordwind waves

Pema Pera: have a nice sleep in your tent!

    Korel Laloix: Night....

Santoshima Resident: bye Korel, hello to the grasses

    stevenaia Michinaga: night Korel

Pema Pera: yes, amazingly early spring -- and that after a Halloween snowstorm half a year ago . . . .

    stevenaia Michinaga: sunspots, perhaps

Pema Pera: sunburns maybe too :)

Tess Aristocrat: We are under a Tornado watch at the moment

    Pema Pera: wow!

Pema Pera: are you in a safe place?

Pema Pera: (not in a tent I hope!)

Tess Aristocrat: Its warm and the winds are gusty, from the south, while there is a terrific front bearing our way.

Tess Aristocrat: haha..well, I guess it doesn't matter where you are in some of those storms ㋡

Tess Aristocrat: but no, not a tent.

Santoshima Resident: please excuse me ... g'night everybody ... take good care

    Storm Nordwind: Beware big Storms

    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

    Bleu Oleander: nite San :)

    Storm Nordwind waves

    Pema Pera: night Santo!

    Tess Aristocrat: San! take car!!

    Tess Aristocrat: e

stevenaia Michinaga: Will you be giving train rides later Storm?

Bleu Oleander: took a ride today ... very nice Storm :)

stevenaia Michinaga: or have you automated the trip

Storm Nordwind: It's all automatic. Trains leave here 24 times every hour. Just hop on board when the gates open.

    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

    Storm Nordwind: Thank you Bleu

Tess Aristocrat: *sneaks over to sit by bleu and peek at her clues..oh! blues clues ㋡

    Storm Nordwind laughs

Bleu Oleander: yw! ... no peeking!

    Pema Pera: :-)

    Tess Aristocrat: :P

Tess Aristocrat: Can this puzzle be solved over and over?

Storm Nordwind: One person last year and one this year got stuck because they were looking for the same object (like a mini-tresaure chest) in every location. But you're looking for objects in each location, and all the objects are different.

Bleu Oleander: you're a glutton for punishment Tess ...

    Tess Aristocrat: lollll

Storm Nordwind: Not really Tess. Some people don't solve it. Those that do like to give hints to others... maybe!

Bleu Oleander: for mesh feet ... maybe :)

Tess Aristocrat: no, I just want to play the game, I don't really care about the prize

Storm Nordwind: But once you've got it finished, wear your prize and wait till the next one I run.

    Pema Pera: :-)

    Raffila Millgrove: ah... a clue.

    Raffila Millgrove: prize is wearable!

    Pema Pera: (^_^)

Storm Nordwind: Bear in mind that I use viewer 1 for speed and reliability, so no mesh anything!

    Bleu Oleander: haha

    Pema Pera: another clue . . .

Storm Nordwind will keep his mouth firmly shut now ;)

stevenaia Michinaga: just downloaded Phoenix Firestorm upgrade tonight... will keep you posted

Bleu Oleander is clueless in Arizona

Tess Aristocrat: jeesh..and I am sitting here struggling (for the first time I embarrassedly admit) thru viewer 2 when I could be comfy in good ol viewer one!

Raffila Millgrove: am finally adjusting to Viewer 3.. after years in version one... it's really very decent.

    Bleu Oleander: I love V3

stevenaia Michinaga: hope anything works after the past few problems

Tess Aristocrat: *wonders if I should just skip to V3...

    Bleu Oleander: yes

Raffila Millgrove: it's nothing like viewer 2. you can make your screen.. however you like it. mine looks like viewer 1.. very tidy. no.thing on the sides. no frame. nothing.. clean and clear view.

Storm Nordwind will one day be able to afford a new computer and then he'll download v3... if SL still exists then

Pema Pera: still using Phoenix, the way I downloaded it ages ago, still works fine

Tess Aristocrat: oh! Well, that I do like

    --BELL--

Raffila Millgrove: consider it Tess. it's much different than 2.. which was ghaswtly.

    Tess Aristocrat: nods

Pema Pera: it's getting a little late here, so I think I'll get some sleep

    Bleu Oleander: bye Pema

Pema Pera: tomorrow will be a busy day with working breakfast

    Storm Nordwind: Rest well Pema

Pema Pera: great seeing you all again!

    Raffila Millgrove: bye Pema. tc

Tess Aristocrat: ditto for me..I'll have to check out the hunt tomorrow ㋡

Bleu Oleander: nite Tess ... happy hunting

Tess Aristocrat: take care dear people

    Raffila Millgrove: bye Tess

    Storm Nordwind smiles and waves

Raffila Millgrove: I think i too will buzz off.

Bleu Oleander: I'll take one more lap around the village and then sleep on the clues

Raffila Millgrove buzzes off like a little sunbug.

    Bleu Oleander: nite all

Raffila Millgrove: gl with the clues Bleu.

    Bleu Oleander: :)

    Bleu Oleander: bye all

    Storm Nordwind: Bye!
