Raffila Millgrove: had my first visitor already, some strange chap. I gave him our info card and main lm.. so maybe he comes by to see us someday. he really liked the park anyway so that was nice.
Storm Nordwind: Thank you so much for sending the note as invitation Raffi. I've taken the opportunity for a quick visit already. :)
Paradise Tennant: actually think building is the most addictive part of sl :)
Storm Nordwind: But the strange chap wasn't me, at least I don't think so!
Raffila Millgrove: yeah I got to remember to move the chairs back as I moved to chat with him.. that sofa puts you on the ground if you are solo seated. lol
Raffila Millgrove: but it's lovely if two sit. I really didn't know him well enough to take the couch with him. haha

Raffila Millgrove: I do have a merry-go-round that's small so I will put up bouncy castle, merry go round and other play stuff as the year passes.

Raffila Millgrove: I don't know about you guys, but I have never missed a chance to get on an SL train. they are so fun.
Storm Nordwind: It's my contribution to the tree
Raffila Millgrove: and this is one of the coolest ones.

Raffila Millgrove: Sl Japan--the big 20 sim one--it used to have a subway.. it was phenomenal to travel by it.
Storm Nordwind: very nice, yes
Aphrodite Macbain: really? was it high speed?
Raffila Millgrove: yes.. very realistic with stations below ground. I think the economy.. set them back a lot.. in SL Japan. much fewer stores and so many open spaces now.

Raffila Millgrove: well that was a mainland type Japan.. It took me 3 weeks when I first came to walk the whole thing. They had arrows to keep you on track.

Raffila Millgrove: oh I walk every step thru every sim.. and look at it all. it was so thrilling. I met many people.. who invited me to drink and so much fun.

Aphrodite Macbain: First I will go to Malta and then Venice

Raffila Millgrove: ooh really.. in Venice you take this course?
Aphrodite Macbain: That's my plan and I'm sticking to it

Storm Nordwind: There's a school of thought that says that the more synchronicities happen in your life, the more a confirmation it is that you're in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing.

Aphrodite Macbain: she is really a wonderful artist and teacher- I'm glad you looked at it
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm planning to organize an exhibition of botanical art here in Vancouver so all this feeds into that

Raffila Millgrove: it's all water color.. it's so hard to work in it.. I keep thinking there is a pen/pencil. .something to create line.
