Paradise Tennant: my best example .. stopped on a day of business travlel for coffee was touring around 4 different sites. So buy a coffee and on impulse put 4 packets of sugar in my pocket. Very strong impulse .. do not take sugar would never use the packets but cannot seem to resist..

Lucinda Lavender: i was given a crystal by a teacher that I was to look into and then place on my forehead and then my heart
Lucinda Lavender: that was the whole dream
Lucinda Lavender: after i woke I went to a talk at the temple and there was a mention made of a crystal
Lucinda Lavender: tha cherishing each other is like a crystal
Lucinda Lavender: taking negativity out of the environment

Storm Nordwind: What syncronicity? First I defined it as "meaningful coincidence that can't be explained by cause and effect"
Storm Nordwind: Both parts of that are important...
Storm Nordwind: meaningful means meaningful to you personally.
Storm Nordwind: Cause and effect is important because it could be meaningful but still explainable, and that's something else not syncronicity

Storm Nordwind: The point of looking for syncronicities was that the more you noticed them in your life, the more verification the universe was giving you that you were in the right place at the right time doing the right thing

Storm Nordwind: And if they stop happening, you needed to examine what you were doing. Were you on the wrong track? Were you trying to force mental wishes/ etc

Storm Nordwind: You may have plenty of the latter but you have to look closely for the former

Storm Nordwind: Think of it like this Hana. You can go with the flow or you can try swimming against the flow. Both could have their places, but swimming against the current is trying to force your wishes onto circumstance.

Storm Nordwind: So I'd got a new job in London and needed a place to call home
Storm Nordwind: As a heathen (Germanic pagan) I'd done a pagan ritual to ask a particular heathen god to help...
Storm Nordwind: At the end of the ritual, nothing expected happened, but a different thing did, which was a heathen goddess appeared...
Storm Nordwind: My ex identified her as Ran, a sea goddess...
Storm Nordwind: I thought nothing of it except that two days later, Ran appeared to me in broad daylight in the middle of a busy London high street!
Storm Nordwind: I asked her what she wanted, and she said she wanted to help me get a new place to live.
Storm Nordwind: What did she want in return I asked.
Storm Nordwind: She said she wanted a ritual for her, like we'd done the other day for someone else - and that was all.
Storm Nordwind: So we went and did just that the next evening
Storm Nordwind: By the seashore of course!
Storm Nordwind: I remember that at the end, a meteor shot across the sky, very very slowly, and exploded silently in a green flash
Storm Nordwind: Two days later, we had found our perfect place, and we had money reserving it for us
Storm Nordwind: (We'd previously been searching for weeks)
Storm Nordwind: So was there any syncronicity in that story?
Storm Nordwind: Yes
Storm Nordwind: And there was also a fortuitous event
Storm Nordwind: The fact we got the house was NOT syncronicity
Storm Nordwind: It was cause and effect
Storm Nordwind: We agreed to a deal, we kept our end of the deal, and the goddess kept hers
