Wol Euler was guardian for this session.

    Alessa Tzal: Good moaning :)
    Wol Euler: heheheh
Wol Euler: same to you, m'dear
    Alessa Tzal: How is one?
Wol Euler: cheerful, but a weather-related headache this morning
    Alessa Tzal: Aww
Wol Euler: perhaps a walk will clear that up
    Wol Euler: and one?
Alessa Tzal: Just got up, still yawning
    Wol Euler: heheheh
    Wol Euler: have some coffee
    Alessa Tzal: I am!
    Wol Euler: me too :)
    Wol Euler: buongiorno qt
    Qt Core: Hi Alessa, Wol
    Alessa Tzal: Mornin QT
Alessa Tzal: Have you seen Bryn's new thing yet?
    Wol Euler: not yet, no
Alessa Tzal: I'll try and take a lot at that today
    Wol Euler nods.
    Qt Core: brb :-(
Wol Euler: those are pretty tough-looking boots, A.
Alessa Tzal: Yes I love em
    Wol Euler grins.
Alessa Tzal: Trying to remember who they're by
Alessa Tzal: Ah, someone called Aditya Shippe :p
    Wol Euler: oh, *her*
    Wol Euler: or him
Alessa Tzal: Oh you know her
Wol Euler: never heard of it :)
    Alessa Tzal: Hmm
Alessa Tzal: The names some people give themselves in Sl eh
    Wol Euler: yup
Wol Euler: so, what's on the agenda for today?
    Qt Core: back
    Wol Euler: wb, qt
Alessa Tzal: She seems to have a shop on the Marketplace, but there doesn't seem to be anything in it!
    Alessa Tzal: Weird
Qt Core: inportant news from Italy: this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPrKYs2iDKQ) won Saremo Festival last night and, oh, yes, we have a new cabinet too ;-)
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
    Qt Core: *Sanremo
Wol Euler: the order is important :)
Alessa Tzal: Adi Cat it's called
Wol Euler: bah, cannot be viewed in germany because etc etc
Alessa Tzal: Ah wait, lemme sign in
    Qt Core: :-(
Wol Euler: eh, happens all the time

    --BELL--

    Alessa Tzal: Nope, still nowt
Qt Core: yes, but then you would not discover an artist you may like and not give them money, well done
Wol Euler: do you know that in the USA, a child who illegally downloads ten songs faces a bigger fine than a doctor who amputates the wrong leg of a patient?
Alessa Tzal: No, but I can believe it
Wol Euler: because amputation only hurts a person, and who gives a shit about people, right? But illegal downloading hurts a CORPORATION.
    Alessa Tzal: Exactly
Qt Core: maybe this work, audio from the festival itself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xf5GCevJ8E
    Alessa Tzal: Gotta love priorities
Wol Euler: qt, that owrked! thanks, listening
Qt Core: sorry, terrible audio, the voice is inaudible
Qt Core: fate is against me :-)
    Wol Euler: hhehehehh
Alessa Tzal: I hear it ok, who is she?
    Qt Core: Arisa
    Alessa Tzal: Ah
    Qt Core: brb again
Alessa Tzal: Reminds me of the opening of that song by the Verve
    Wol Euler nods.
    Wol Euler: nice
Wol Euler: even without vocals :)
    Wol Euler: "bittersweet symphony", alessa?
    Alessa Tzal: That's the one
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Alessa Tzal: Something about I can't change I can't change I can't change etc :p
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: so not a david bowie composition
    Alessa Tzal: Semms so
    Alessa Tzal: Seems so too
    Alessa Tzal: Ch-ch-changes
    Wol Euler: got it :)
    Alessa Tzal: Yeh I'm good

    On to more serious matters.

Alessa Tzal: Did you get anything out of the theme session last night?
    Qt Core: back
    Alessa Tzal: WB QT
    Wol Euler: wb
Wol Euler: I took it as a vote of confidence in PaB and the practices
Wol Euler: nobody said "that was worthless"
Wol Euler: which perhaps may only be peer pressure
Alessa Tzal: Not sure confidence is really the issue, more that people have differing perspectives
    Alessa Tzal: Blind men...elephant...etc
Qt Core: while it is powerful i don't think that pab members are affected a lot by peer pressure
Wol Euler: I would hope not, but it's always a possiblilty
    Wol Euler smiles.
Alessa Tzal: The marines would call it pier pressure ;)
Wol Euler: I had wondered whether anyone would suggest closing it down
    Alessa Tzal: 0.0
Wol Euler: because there is a lot of comment about how it's lost its purpose

    --BELL--

Alessa Tzal: I doubt muchly that was ever on the agenda
Alessa Tzal: Look how many turned up for one thing
Wol Euler: it had crossed my mind
Alessa Tzal: Wollie the pessimist :p
Alessa Tzal: Ah wait, when you say 'closing it down' did you mean just the pauses or the whole of PaB?
    Wol Euler: dunno
    Alessa Tzal: Hmm
Wol Euler: say perhaps converting it from a lab-that-nobody-uses-as-lab into a straightforward chat session
Alessa Tzal: I think it can be both
Qt Core: sometimes i feel like sessions lack guidance, keeping them on the topic (and avoiding too much "just chatting"), regardless of the origin of the topic, predetermined on a schedule or just choose at meeting start... but then some other times topics comes out just from that "just chatting".
    Alessa Tzal: Agreed QT
Alessa Tzal: Meaning out of chaos
Qt Core: (btw, guilty of much of that just chatting ;-) )
Alessa Tzal: We can't all be philosophers can we?
Qt Core: but somewhat we should
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: I think that people feel that we should be philosophizing more, and wish that somebody else would take the lead to make that happen
Alessa Tzal: Maybe we need Rhi here more? <wink>
Qt Core: forced to be better when we can't push ourselves to
    Alessa Tzal: (just a suggestion)
Qt Core: haven't seen her in a while
Alessa Tzal: Oh she's still going strong bless her
    Wol Euler nods.
Alessa Tzal: Actually I think Eliza is really good at drawing interesting stuff out most of the time
Wol Euler: yes, gods bless her :)
Wol Euler: she's pretty much taken over from Pema as the guiding light
    Alessa Tzal: :)
Alessa Tzal: A role she performs well
    Wol Euler nods.
Alessa Tzal: The mother of PaB
    Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: from a dictatorial pov we can require that people use webcams to monitor what they do during the 90 secs</wink>

    <wink> <evil laugh="">
    --BELL--</evil></wink>

    <wink><evil laugh="">
    Alessa Tzal: :p
    Alessa Tzal: Right, shopping calls
Wol Euler: the NSA knows that anyway
Wol Euler: bye Al, happy hunting
    Alessa Tzal: Knows what?
Wol Euler: what you do during hte pause
    Alessa Tzal: Ah
    Qt Core: have fun, bye
    Alessa Tzal: Probably
    Alessa Tzal: Bye bye dears
Qt Core: i've recently found the answer to every question which answer isn't 42: http://i0.wp.com/stixblog.com/wp-con...14/02/data.jpg
    Wol Euler: ah!
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
Qt Core: today i went grocery shopping at 9am, it is almost a nice experience, few people (usually being there by choice so not (too) sad looking and knowing what they are doing where they are going) low traffic, a lot of parking space and the shelves are full
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: early morning feels differnt, that's true
Wol Euler: there's no shopping in Germany on sundays though, except in the train station and gas stations
Wol Euler: well, and some bakeries are open until noon
Qt Core: i try not to do much shopping on sundays, but i felt asleep all afternoon yesterday
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: I approve of that! clearly you needed it.
Qt Core: yes, i was extremely tired only for having gone to the gym to subscribe and pay for it ;-)
Qt Core: don't know how i'll survive my first session tomorrow evening
    Wol Euler giggles.
    Wol Euler: good luck!
Qt Core: (i'm fearing a little to exactly know how mich in a bad shape i am)
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: keep your eyes on the prize, as it were
    Wol Euler: the end result
Qt Core: but yesterday i had a great shopping session too, to refurbish my gym clothing that was old or... too big, i had to drop (;-) one or two X from the size i used
    Wol Euler: yay :)
    Wol Euler: already some progress.
Qt Core: (and way more choice too)</evil></wink>

    <wink><evil laugh="">
    --BELL--</evil></wink>

    <wink><evil laugh="">
Wol Euler: I read that one of the reasons people drop out of health programs is that they are disappointed at how slowly it goes
Qt Core: oh, yes, people starting dieting or going to the gym in springs to be good looking in the summer, that has to be the spring of the year before at least
Wol Euler: they want --- yes
Wol Euler: it took years to become that shape, it's going to take a while to get out of it too
Wol Euler: patience :) perhaps learn to meditate while on the machines? :)
Qt Core: that could be a good idea, i usually end up calulating the time untill session end in % and in fractions
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: a friends congratulated (and pushed) me the gym: "go, it is good for you, it is nice and fun and yuo'll meet people too", we don't really agree on the last two points ;-)
    Wol Euler: heheheheheh
Wol Euler: s/he may be right!
Qt Core: i usually did it with the same happy spirit i have while at the dentist and usually don't wear the glasses, so people are just moving things not to collide with ;-)
    Wol Euler laughs.
Wol Euler: well, try changing that spirit :-P
Qt Core: (i'm not really that shortsighted but that is the idea)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: we'll see, now up to one of the few physical activity i enjoy, cooking
    Wol Euler cheers!
Wol Euler: enjoy the day, qt, and good luck at the gym
    Qt Core: ty:-) bye
    Wol Euler: bye!</evil></wink>
