A romp through the English countryside.  You'll laugh, you'll cry.  Two thumbs up.  xo Cal

    Hello There :)  Laggy start...

    Connected
    Caledonia Heron: hi Gaya :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
    Caledonia Heron: rezzing
Gaya Ethaniel: Hey Cal, no time no see!
Caledonia Heron: it has been a long time hasn't it?
Caledonia Heron: nice to see you also :)
Gaya Ethaniel nods and smiles at Cal
    Caledonia Heron: hey Pema :)
    Pema Pera: Hi there!
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
    Pema Pera: sloooooow rezzing today . . . .
    Caledonia Heron: me too
    Gaya Ethaniel nods
Pema Pera: the only colored object in the grey goo is the purple sea critter :-)
    Fael Illyar: Oh, hi :)
Fael Illyar should pay attention to chat too.
    Caledonia Heron: hi Fael :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
Caledonia Heron: ok, sl is getting it's act together for me :)
Pema Pera: is it slower today in general? for me it certainly is . . .
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes it has been Pema
Caledonia Heron: for me it is ....argh
Fael Illyar: it's been slow for a couple of days
    Caledonia Heron: last night also
Caledonia Heron: we will sit very still :)
    Pema Pera: :)
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles

    The heart of science...

Caledonia Heron: how is everyone today? evening?
Gaya Ethaniel: Well ty, you Cal?
Pema Pera: evening here it is yes
Pema Pera: and I'm fine, but a bit tired :)
Caledonia Heron: good! got lots done this morning already so a little flex ahead of me :)
Caledonia Heron: maybe we should make a cot for you here Pema :)
Pema Pera: it will be Friday here soon
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
Pema Pera: yeah, may as well leave my avatar
Pema Pera: write an AI script
Pema Pera: by now, with 500 sessions logged, any question should be answerable, no?
Pema Pera: with a little extrapolation
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
Caledonia Heron: one would think and, there always seem to be new nuggets to learn from
Caledonia Heron: like the resolution is getting better or something :)
    Caledonia Heron: personal resolution :)
Pema Pera: yes, spontaneity and creativity are amazing
Pema Pera: they are at the heart of science
Pema Pera: and yet people consider science "rational"
    Caledonia Heron: yes, that spark!
    Pema Pera: very funny
Pema Pera: like sports being about time keeping, because you measure at the end of a race how look it took
    Fael Illyar: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Pls say more Pema?
    Faenik: ah :)
Pema Pera: well, who wins is determined by a stop watch, but that's not the heart of sports
Caledonia Heron: I think the perspective of different sports tells you about the sport itself ... like in football you have sudden death but in baseball you have extra innings ... so much more mellow :)
Pema Pera: rationality is what decides which scientific theory is correct, as a check, but that is not the heart of science
Gaya Ethaniel: Cricket mellower still <smile>
Gaya Ethaniel: What is the heart of science in your opinion?
Caledonia Heron: yes agreed Pema, that's not the heart of science is it?
    Caledonia Heron: hey Doug :)
Pema Pera: the heart is daring to make mistakes
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
    Pema Pera: hi Doug!
Caledonia Heron: or daring to have a different idea
Gaya Ethaniel: Giving it a go?
Pema Pera: Doug is even whiter than usual, as a cloud now!
    Pema Pera: yes
Caledonia Heron: you could make your hair white too Doug :)
    Pema Pera: a brief appearance

Buggy bugs bug programs so defeature and decreature programs...

Caledonia Heron: mistakes in science are not well rewarded but necessary
Pema Pera: yes indeed, like bugs in computer programs
Caledonia Heron: are there bugs in being?
Fael Illyar: yes, can't program without them
    Caledonia Heron: hmmm
Pema Pera: Being certainly allows for all possible bugs :-)
Gaya Ethaniel: One learns more from bugs?
    Pema Pera: sure
Caledonia Heron: you can bug out :)
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
    Pema Pera: become bug eyed
    Gaya Ethaniel laughs
Fael Illyar: you learn from bugs ... to make less bugs :P
Caledonia Heron: bug in a rug
    Pema Pera: bugs you down
    Pema Pera: ah, bugger!
Fael Illyar: but sometimes something else too :)
    Caledonia Heron: lol
    Gaya Ethaniel laughs out loud
    Pema Pera: buckets of bugs . . . .
    Gaya Ethaniel: So funny...
Fael Illyar: one time a certain way to do things is a bug, other time it's a feature :P
    Pema Pera: yup
Pema Pera: then you have to defeature the program . . . .

    This side of Be...

Caledonia Heron: being is the parent directory?
    Pema Pera: Being is more
Pema Pera: like the whole tree
Pema Pera: or better the space in which the tree grows
Pema Pera: or better still all of appearance, including that of space and time
Pema Pera: we find our way step by step into Being
Pema Pera: from our relative side
    Faenik: なるほど^^
Pema Pera: but from Being's side there is only Being
Pema Pera: not just one not just many, beyond both
Caledonia Heron: lol, expansion to the nth degree :)
Pema Pera: from our side yes
    Pema Pera: :)
Fael Illyar: space ... or all trees
Caledonia Heron: [pictures being laughing at "our" side]
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
Pema Pera: Being allows everything, as such it's like a cosmic joke :-)
Pema Pera: since nothing is ever established
    Pema Pera: only appearance appears
Caledonia Heron: yeah, isn't that something

    This stuff is slippery...

Fael Illyar: time is like moving through the trees
Pema Pera: that sounds haiku like, Fael :)
Pema Pera: can you say more?
Fael Illyar: like zooming through fractals, more of same
    Pema Pera: hi Adams!
Caledonia Heron: is that your experience Fael?
    Fael Illyar: yet different
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
Adams Rubble: Good morning everyone :)
    Caledonia Heron: hey Adams :)
Fael Illyar: don't know about experience but that just came to me somehow :P
    Fael Illyar: Hi Adams :)
Pema Pera: Fractals are funny, yes, connect zero and infinity somehow
Caledonia Heron: I ask because the stuff I perceive is actually no stuff at all ... it's like nothing is there, not even me ... so that's why I ask
Pema Pera: can you say more, Cal?
    Caledonia Heron: it's slipeery Pema
    Caledonia Heron: *slippery
Pema Pera: yes, that's part of the fun!
Caledonia Heron: lol, even the word slippery is slippery!
    Faenik: なるほど^^
    Pema Pera: :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
Caledonia Heron: what I can say is that when I have an experience of what I'm guessing is a form of seeing or being I don't really exist in the perception... how nuts is that? :)
Caledonia Heron: not me, not time, not anything
Pema Pera: that's the key, Cal!
Fael Illyar: Yes, that's how I could describe the state I go into when I sit on my balcony lately.
Caledonia Heron: and that's not bad, or good, or anything... it's only that... nothing ... when I think back, I like it
    Gaya Ethaniel nods
Gaya Ethaniel: One perceives without using 'senses'... something like that
Fael Illyar: or like when you perceive when it's time to take whatever you're baking out of the oven :)
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles

Sorry Officer Time, I forgot my ID...

Caledonia Heron: do you guys have the perception of no time in your experiences?
Fael Illyar: I can't quite tell how much time has passed so ... sort of :)
    Gaya Ethaniel nods... similar
Gaya Ethaniel: Sometimes it's a fraction of a second that feels like ages...
Adams Rubble: I haven't thought about time, I don't think so anyway
Adams Rubble: May I ask what is the key, Pema?
    Pema Pera: hahaha, the key
Caledonia Heron: time puts us in position for almost everything we do so when it's not there.....
Pema Pera: well, no time, no identification, as Cal said
Caledonia Heron: I notice variations in the immersion of the experience too - to be consciously looking outside oneself or having no reference points at all .... an interesting array
Pema Pera: is this something that you experience constantly, Cal, more or less, or occasionally?
Faenik is a hairy black ball with eyes and ears.
Caledonia Heron: the 9sec is so repeated that it is at the near-surface level of my daily operations and slipping back and forth occurs randomly and more frequently it seems
Pema Pera: that's very nice, Cal !!
Fael Illyar: I sometimes slip into that state, yes.

    Fresh, spontaneous moments...

Caledonia Heron: so that makes sense to you Pema?
    Pema Pera: oh sure
Fael Illyar: sort of like perfect silence.
Pema Pera: to answer your question
Caledonia Heron: lol, he says casually :)
Pema Pera: of how it feels for me
    Pema Pera: :-)
Fael Illyar: not necessarily around me though
Gaya Ethaniel: I call it 'on and off' Cal. Pema understood what I meant.
Pema Pera: the notion is like a "fourth time" that is different from past, present or future
Pema Pera: so first you realize that there is no past or future that can be directly experienced
Pema Pera: and then you begin the see that the present is then no longer a little point hemmed in by the past and future
Pema Pera: and then it is possible for the present to become a kind of eternity
    Pema Pera: but those are just words . . . . .
Pema Pera: a kind of freshness of each moment
Pema Pera: lack of causality and continuity
Caledonia Heron: a kind of willingness of each moment
Pema Pera: lack of worry, threat, all that
Gaya Ethaniel: Do you mean in that state, one is unaware of past, present & future Pema?
Pema Pera: spontaneity of each moment
Pema Pera: well, there is no "one" left
    Pema Pera: there is awareness
    Pema Pera: nothing is lost
Fael Illyar: no filters separating them.
Faenik is a hairy black ball with eyes and ears.
Pema Pera: but it is no longer indexed tightly to the subject self
Caledonia Heron: yeah, it's remarkable that there seems like nothing yet "everything" is there at the same time
Caledonia Heron: empty and full at the same time ... ha!
    Pema Pera: of course, yes!
Pema Pera: has to go beyond both
Caledonia Heron: now that's a joke!
    Pema Pera: :-)
Fael Illyar: everything and nothing are defined by each other.
    Pema Pera: yes
    Faenik: indeed?

    If you slip time...

Pema Pera: actually debugging is a way to get into the spirit of Being, as a little step from our side
Pema Pera: daring to make mistakes
Pema Pera: and then working with them
Pema Pera: accepting mistakes as equally valuable
Pema Pera: not condemning them, not judging
Pema Pera: but appreciating them and using them as a resource
Gaya Ethaniel is new to this spiritual aspect of programming... perhaps that's why there's a website called 'zen of programming'
Adams Rubble is good at mistakes
    Pema Pera: :-)
Pema Pera: zen of programming sounds right :)
Caledonia Heron: I have a little Faenik that says if you slip time, what of it?
Fael Illyar: there could also be a reason for the mistakes. Your subconscious causing them to have you do certain things.
    Pema Pera: sure
Pema Pera: if you slip time, perhaps time slips you and you slip out of the picture :)
Caledonia Heron: lol, yes .... knowing I won't care maybe I will skip writing that monthly report :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
     could be
     could be
     (Pema's little inner Faenik)
     (Pema's little inner Faenik)
Pema Pera wonders why his inner Faenik sees double . . . .
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles

    Appearance appears apparently...

Caledonia Heron: if we and time slip each other.... we are timeless, eternal, stardust?
Fael Illyar: it's also equally important to realize that this distinctual world you perceive will keep going.
    Pema Pera: we are not
    Pema Pera: but timelessness is
    Caledonia Heron: yes
Pema Pera: perhaps will seem to keep going, perhaps not :-)
Gaya Ethaniel: mm... who are 'we'?
    Pema Pera: appearence
    Pema Pera: very free
Fael Illyar: yes, good point. The world might "end" the next second :P
Pema Pera: it never has begun
    Pema Pera: cannot even end
Caledonia Heron: it seems from these experiences that the distinctual world you refer to Fael doesn't matter...
Pema Pera: appearance appears including appearance of duration
Pema Pera: but that too is only appearance
Pema Pera: nothing comes or goes
Gaya Ethaniel ponders on 'appreciating appearances'
Fael Illyar: There is this self that is part of this world. For this self, it does matter.
Caledonia Heron: my little appearance of a brain wants to "do" something with this knowledge sometimes :)
Pema Pera: oh sure, we can play as small beings
Pema Pera: and then all kind of problems arise
Pema Pera: we are no longer free then
Pema Pera: a very complex game we get mired in, that way
Pema Pera: all kind of things begin to matter . . . .
Faenik is a hairy black ball with eyes and ears.

Know it's a dream, keep dreaming, knowing it's a dream...

Pema Pera: but when we realize we are dreaming, we can continue the dream, while being free at the same time
Caledonia Heron: yes, the movie and the light maybe
    Anderson Gravois: Namo Amitofo
Pema Pera: yes, those are some of my favorite metaphors, but have their own limitations, like all metaphors
    Fael Illyar: Hi Anderson
    Pema Pera: Hi Anderson!
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
Anderson Gravois: Hello....I didn't mean to disturb...
Caledonia Heron: sure, stories to help understand
Pema Pera: Come join us, Anderson
    Pema Pera: feel free!
Caledonia Heron: like light is a particle and a wave
    Pema Pera: yes
    Anderson Gravois: Namo Amitofo
Caledonia Heron: Hi Anderson .."Namo Amitofo" what does that mean? ( I read it as Amitofu :)
Anderson Gravois: It means Homage to Amitabha Buddha in Chinese
    Caledonia Heron: ok, thanks :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: A bodhisattva
Caledonia Heron: maybe a vegetarian bodhisattva :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hard to say...
Anderson Gravois: Amitabha is known as the Buddha of Infinite Light
Caledonia Heron: you can come in and join us if you like :)
    Anderson Gravois: Namo Amitofo
Gaya Ethaniel: Namo Amitabul in Korean
Pema Pera: Yes, of the Pure Land, the Western Paradise
Pema Pera: Namo Amidabutsu in Japanese
Caledonia Heron: have a seat - we are a friendly group :)
Pema Pera: and we have a little paradise here :-)
Anderson Gravois: RIght on....In Tibetan....Sangye O Pak May La Chak Tsal Lo
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
    Faenik: ah :)
Caledonia Heron: this is the discussion group play as being ... have you attended before?
Anderson Gravois: I have never been before
Caledonia Heron: you can read about the group at
    http://playasbeing.wik.is
.... we take the log from these sessions and post it there ... may we include your comments?

    What is Play As Being?...

    Anderson Gravois: What is Playasbeing?
Caledonia Heron: ok gang, help me out ... potentially a lot of typing ... I should make myself a notecard :)
Pema Pera: the idea is that we are already part of the perfection of Being
    Pema Pera: of All
Pema Pera: of the Universe you could say
Pema Pera: but we have forgotten that
Pema Pera: so we do as if
    Anderson Gravois: Cool
Pema Pera: we play as if we are Being
Pema Pera: and so we let Being remember that Being is Being
Caledonia Heron: yes every 15 min for 9 sec :)
Pema Pera: and that we never happened
Anderson Gravois: Reminds me of the meaning of the Mani mantra
Anderson Gravois: Om Mani Padme Hum....Homage to the Jewel in the Lotus
Caledonia Heron: and then, upon doing that, we meet here to discuss that activity, what occurs for us, what that implies and sometimes we goof around :)
Anderson Gravois: The Jewel in the Lotus is your own mind which has been enlightened since beginningless time
    Pema Pera: yes
    Pema Pera: but we forget
Pema Pera: so as Cal said:
Anderson Gravois: We just are obscured and cannot see our authentic nature correctly
Pema Pera: we regularly remind ourselves
Pema Pera: every fifteen minutes we take a break from our forgetting
Pema Pera: and for a few seconds we unforget
Pema Pera: before getting back to the job of forgetting again
    Caledonia Heron: lol, yes
Caledonia Heron: may we include your comments Anderson?
Anderson Gravois: RIght on....We have to remind ourselves of our true nature and occasionally even pretend at being our true self until we see directly
    Anderson Gravois: Of course.
    Anderson Gravois: Namo Amitofo
Caledonia Heron: fake it till you make it :)
Pema Pera: so when you chant Namo Amitofo, are you already with Amito then?
Pema Pera: or is it a wish for later?
Anderson Gravois: Oh....B R B....I am an acupuncturist in RL, and a patient has just come in...Fake it til you make it...Right on....It is already and has ever been present
Pema Pera: sure, see you later, Anderson!
    Gaya Ethaniel smiles
Anderson Gravois: Milarepa once said there are no Buddhas apart from your own mind
    Anderson Gravois: Namo Amitofo
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
    Pema Pera bows to Milarepa
Pema Pera and to Marpa, Naropa and Tilopa
    Faenik: なるほど^^
Fael Illyar waves goodbye to Anderson.

    403, 302, 451, 123, whatever it takes...

Caledonia Heron: I wonder if you could make a mind connection with acupuncture in virtual worlds... like do virtual acupuncture and obtain a beneficial result
Pema Pera: anything is possible . . . . and will be called "placebo effect" :-)
    Caledonia Heron: mmm, maybe
Pema Pera: Adams, this is all rather different than what you and I have discussed - does it make any sense for you, this differnt kind of language?
Caledonia Heron: energy has interesting properties, not fully quantifiable sometimes
Pema Pera: oh sure, there is so much we don't know yet . . . .
Adams Rubble: Yes, it has been a different language. Sometimes it felt like I was in PaB 403 when I am still in PaB 302 but it was good to listen for a session
Fael Illyar: placebo ... another misunderstood term :)
Caledonia Heron: how do you mean Adams?
    Adams Rubble: haha
Adams Rubble: Being quiet, different language or 403?
Caledonia Heron: sorry, don't get your comment
    Caledonia Heron: different language, 403
    Pema Pera: Fahrenheit 451 ?
Adams Rubble: We all have ways of talking about the experience.
    Caledonia Heron: Pelham 123...
Adams Rubble: Sometimes it clicks and sometimes not
Adams Rubble: Today I was just listening to try to understand what you are experiencing
Caledonia Heron: ah, ok ... the vocabulary thing, how we describe individually?
Pema Pera: if there is anything we said that you'd like us to go back to more slowly, we'd be happy to of course
    Adams Rubble: Yes Cal
Caledonia Heron: sure, was I obtuse? wouldn't be the first time :)
Pema Pera: not at all Cal !!!

    Standing on a bridge...

Adams Rubble: Today I am standing on a bridge after having spent a day of calm
Caledonia Heron: made sense to me but that's the thing about vocabulary and perspective.... sometimes lost in translation
Adams Rubble: So today I need to figure out how, why and whether it is a good place to be
    Adams Rubble: :)
Caledonia Heron: is on the bridge a good place to be?
Pema Pera: the place: the bridge?
Caledonia Heron: [sorry, not trying to be d'oh]
Adams Rubble: Well the metaphor would suggest no, but it is a very beautiful, wonderful place Pema
Pema Pera: which metaphor would suggest no?
    Adams Rubble: bridge
    Pema Pera: why?
    Pema Pera: bridges are beautiful!
Adams Rubble: suggests connections between places
Caledonia Heron: lol, you're going to have to spell it out for me Adams :)
Adams Rubble: Yes my bridges are lovely
Pema Pera: connections are great, no?
Adams Rubble: Yes, I am loving it Pema
Adams Rubble: We speak in different languages Cal :)
Caledonia Heron: iowie ;aowei lskdls :)

    Painted snakes, maybe painted doors...

Pema Pera: ah! Just saw your blog now, Adams: Is this a metaphor for me, that I am content to stay there but am missing what is ahead? Are the bridges telling me that it is time to leave the calm waters I was in yesterday.
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Pema Pera: (sneak preview)
Pema Pera: perhaps there is nothing ahead, Adams -- one way of looking at it at least
Adams Rubble: Let's say the next scene hasn't been written yet
    Pema Pera: yes
Adams Rubble: Yes, it would appear so, pema
    Faenik: なるほど^^
Adams Rubble: Since you are on the blog, please notice the snakes
    Pema Pera: ah!
Pema Pera: I read that yesterday or so
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Adams Rubble: Sorry Cal :)
    Caledonia Heron: ?
Pema Pera: it really is all about freedom, freedom to step over the snakes
Caledonia Heron: some snakes are good
Adams Rubble: Yes, and now I find myself on a bridge
Adams Rubble: Just beautiful scenery and bridges
Adams Rubble: Bridges are subject to wind and floods though
Adams Rubble: usually one crosses a bridge
Adams Rubble: So it would suggest that I might consider moving on
Pema Pera: PaB is a bridge from here to here
    Caledonia Heron: lol
Pema Pera: doesn't go anywhere at all
    Caledonia Heron: [pictures circle bridge]
Pema Pera: but very important to go over it
    Faenik loves wells!
Pema Pera: you moving on is you leaving a place -- how about not changing place but leaving you?
    Adams Rubble: :)
Pema Pera: a kind of relativity theory, I gues :-)
Pema Pera: Ah, Nisargadatta, glad you enjoyed that, Adams!
    Pema Pera reading Adams' blog

    Starting our goodbyes...

Fael Illyar: Well, I'll leave to visit my mother now.
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
Adams Rubble: I am finding that I can only read a little at a time
    Pema Pera: take care, Fael!
Adams Rubble: by Fael. take care :)
Pema Pera: oh sure, me too
Pema Pera: Nisargadatta is like wodka
    Adams Rubble: :)
Fael Illyar waves you all goodbye.
    Caledonia Heron: bye Fael :)
Pema Pera: a few sips are enough
Caledonia Heron: also like vodka :)
    Adams Rubble: To be savoured
Adams Rubble: Maybe a fine wine?
    Pema Pera: :)
Gaya Ethaniel needs to do some mundane RL stuff <sigh> 'Until next time. Good day to you all'
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
Adams Rubble: I found it intersting that I had no thought of leaving the bridge
    Pema Pera: bye Gaya!
    Adams Rubble: bye Gaya :)
    Caledonia Heron: bye Gaya :)

Two conversations surreally interlocked, God is knocking at the front door and big tipper ducks are headed out the back...

Pema Pera: there may be no need to leave the bridge, Adams
Adams Rubble: Yes, I understood your point
    Adams Rubble: Was just musing
Pema Pera: I think I mentioned God knocking on the front door, and us running out through the back door looking for God
Pema Pera: trying to cross bridges can be the same thing
Pema Pera: yet not trying can leave us stuck
    Pema Pera: funny thing that
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Caledonia Heron: shall we meet again to discuss this further? :)
    Pema Pera: sure!
Pema Pera: sorry, just reading Adams' blog
Pema Pera: you got a lot of mileage out of Nisargadatta yesterday!
Adams Rubble: Yes, Cal. You may already be where I need to go
    Pema Pera: congratulations!
Caledonia Heron: s'ok, it's the neverending discussion, the neverending bridge :)
Adams Rubble: Thank you, Pema. I was thinking I was
    Pema Pera: hahaha, Cal
    Caledonia Heron: maybe it's not a quest Adams, it's what's present :)
Pema Pera: that's what we were talking about earlier, Adams, you wrote it already before we talked!
Adams Rubble: Well, if it looks like a duck....
Adams Rubble: that was to Cal
Pema Pera: and quacks like an Adams
Pema Pera: it is still a duck
    Adams Rubble: haha
    Caledonia Heron: qwack
    Pema Pera: qwaq
Caledonia Heron: that reminds me of a joke
Caledonia Heron: what does a nuclear duck say?
    Pema Pera: quark
    Caledonia Heron: quark quark :)
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Caledonia Heron: ha ha
Caledonia Heron: I must have told you my lipstick joke too :)
Caledonia Heron: they come in pairs
Pema Pera: no, I guessed, sorry
    Pema Pera: ah, lipstick?
    Pema Pera: new to me
Adams Rubble: Pema, the one thing that confuses me, especially after my earlier experiences, is that I haven't felt anything
Pema Pera: feelings are side effects
Pema Pera: freedom is what counts
Pema Pera: but how about the lipstick, Cal?
Pema Pera: and why does that feel confusing, Adams?
Caledonia Heron: lol, what did the duck say when she bought some lipstick?
Caledonia Heron: ..... "put it on my bill"
    Pema Pera: hmmmm
    Pema Pera: hahaha!
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Pema Pera: how silly
Caledonia Heron: I know .... it cracks me up
Pema Pera: it should have tipped me off
Caledonia Heron: yes, a small Beak-on
Adams Rubble: Pema, it just has to do with the experience. "Feeling" it sort of reinforced earlier steps
Pema Pera wonders whether ducks are big tippers
Caledonia Heron: big tippers with flippers
Pema Pera: oh yes, I understand Adams
    Pema Pera: hehe, Cal!
Pema Pera: we all like to use experience as a kind of signal
Pema Pera: and often it is
Pema Pera: but it doesn't have to be
Pema Pera: it's only a side effect
Pema Pera: you might even say a sign that there is still friction
Pema Pera: when you see more clearly there is less friction, more calm
Caledonia Heron: less jangle, more hum :)
Pema Pera: Nisargadatta has hardly any friction!
    Pema Pera: yes
Pema Pera: well, I should get some sleep though
    Caledonia Heron: yes, indeed :)
Pema Pera: humming in my sleep perhaps
Adams Rubble: Yes, thanks. bye Pema and Cal :)
    Caledonia Heron: bye y'all :)
Pema Pera: by Cal and Adams!
Pema Pera: thanks for the log, Adams!
Pema Pera: another beautiful day on this planet with a little gem from your log!
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Caledonia Heron: :)
Pema Pera: worth reading Cal, #75 it was
    Pema Pera:
    http://rubblebornthoughts.wordpress.com/
Caledonia Heron: oki, will squeeeeze it in :)
    Pema Pera: ;-)
    Adams Rubble: :)

The next part was appended by Adams Rubble. Pema and I continued to talk about my experience. Anderson came back at the end.

Adams Rubble: Something for everyone today :)
Pema Pera: yes, I really enjoyed that
Pema Pera: the kind of flow
Pema Pera: sometimes it really feels palpable
    Adams Rubble: night:)
Pema Pera: I'm really impressed with yesterday's entry; hadn't read it yet
Pema Pera: the fact that you found something with much less friction than you had encountered so far
Pema Pera: that is very impressive
Pema Pera: does that feel different for you too?
    Adams Rubble: very much so
    Pema Pera: wonderful!
Pema Pera: then the lack of feeling is like a seal
    Pema Pera: of authenticity
Adams Rubble: that is good :)
Pema Pera: and within there you can find very many subtle shades of feeling
Pema Pera: far more ethereal you might say
    Pema Pera: or just silence
Pema Pera: as the case may be
    Adams Rubble: :)
Pema Pera: you asked in the blog
Pema Pera: now how do I open the door?
Pema Pera: after stepping over the snakes
Pema Pera: In SL there are doors that are phantom
Pema Pera: you just walk through them
Adams Rubble: and found myself on a bridge
Pema Pera: I think your doors are like that
Pema Pera: and your bridge too
    Pema Pera: totally open
Adams Rubble: Maybe that is what it is telling me?
Pema Pera: yet nowhere to go
    Pema Pera: I think so
    Adams Rubble: :)
Anderson Gravois: Hello...I am sorry to have missed the conversation
Pema Pera: it should be on your chat log, Anderson
Pema Pera: at least in your "local chat" window
Pema Pera: and you can save that
Anderson Gravois: Cool...I am very happy to have met you all. In RL I had to get back to work for a moment
    Pema Pera: sure, np!
Adams Rubble: Yes, you too Anderson :)
Pema Pera: we gather here every day at 1 am 7 am 1 pm 7 pm
    Pema Pera: every six hours
Pema Pera: so please come back whenever you like
Anderson Gravois: Awesome...I will look forward to coming back...
