    Eden Haiku: Hey Yaku :))

    Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning eden

Eden Haiku: Any topic on your mind this afternoon?

    Yakuzza Lethecus: nothing in specific

Yakuzza Lethecus: how to bring a new topic to life artificially ?

Eden Haiku: So we can share a bit of silence if you like ;)

    Yakuzza Lethecus: ok

--BELL--

Eden Haiku: How was your day at work?

Yakuzza Lethecus: a coworker collapsed, she was brought away by the ambulance

Eden Haiku: Oh, sorry to hear that.

Yakuzza Lethecus: i hope she’s fine and that it isn’t too serious
Yakuzza Lethecus: they didn’t know what’s wrong

Eden Haiku: Oh, that is worrisome. Do you know her well?

Yakuzza Lethecus: we are only 4 employee’s in the company

Yakuzza Lethecus: and i usually bring her to her daughters home after work, so yes we know each other well there

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi storm

Eden Haiku: Hope she will be ok.Hi Storm!

    Storm Nordwind: Hi there :)

Eden Haiku: Yaku was sharing that a coworker collapsed at work today.

Storm Nordwind: Oh dear :(

Eden Haiku: How are you this morning Storm? Early for you ;)

Storm Nordwind: It is early, yes. But how could I resist my friends here ;)

Eden Haiku: How sweet of you to say ;))

Eden Haiku: It is raining here, the rain brings a peace the birds enjoy noisily, responding to the birds in SL!

    Storm Nordwind smiles

Yakuzza Lethecus: i have nice weather around here

Eden Haiku: Noisily is not the right word though...happily rather.

Storm Nordwind loves the rain when he knows it will eventually stop!

Yakuzza Lethecus: http://www.flickr.com/photos/yakuzza...67731/sizes/l/

Eden Haiku: Right, they are saying it will clear up this afternoon ;)

Yakuzza Lethecus: this was yesterday afternoon

Yakuzza Lethecus: just a webcam shot

Eden Haiku: Oh pictures Yaku, thanks!

Storm Nordwind: Where are you Yaku? ;)

Eden Haiku: A view from your window?

Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, from the window where i am sitting

    Storm Nordwind: Wonderful

Eden Haiku: Yaku lives a fairlyland!

Eden Haiku: Smooth hills and cows. I love cows!

Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, if you live here it's normal and you come even up with more negative thoughts :P
Yakuzza Lethecus: cattle

Yakuzza Lethecus: they never saw the bull :P

Yakuzza Lethecus: :)

Eden Haiku: That was a citygirl’s point of view yes.

Storm Nordwind has lived in all sorts of places

Eden Haiku: having fond memories of my uncle's farm when I was a kid.

Eden Haiku: Was a worshipper of cows even then...Their eyes are so quiet...

Eden Haiku: Still cool in Colorado today?

    Storm Nordwind: Currently 10 degrees

    Eden Haiku: Brrr

Yakuzza Lethecus: at least with sun ?

Storm Nordwind: It's fine :)

It's the 8cm diameter hailstones that are the problem! :)

Eden Haiku: Hailstones, wow!

Storm Nordwind: Fortunately not this morning
--

    BELL--

Eden Haiku: Loves the mist in the pond

Eden Haiku: On my first PaB session, Mick told me that we meditated when the mist appeared so I was concentrating real hard not to miss it ;))

Storm Nordwind wonders whether or not, one day, to surprise everyone with an acrobatic fountain :)

Eden Haiku: What would that look like Storm?

Eden Haiku: Maybe you can give up a glimpse this morning?

Storm Nordwind: The spray going up and down and around - in time to music maybe

Eden Haiku: Oh you would have to script it first...:))

Storm Nordwind: no no - a special artistic and engineering feat - far too difficult for the spur of the moment - honest

Storm Nordwind: :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: i just hope sl stay’s alive at all

    Storm Nordwind: vry true

Eden Haiku: Are there rumors of SL eventually going down?

Yakuzza Lethecus: at first only the fact that they fired 100 employees

Eden Haiku: Caught a tweet this morning that said: people are still on Second Life?

Eden Haiku: They did? Oh that is worrisome...

Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, i have to admit even last year when i joined i didn’t think of finding places like this

Yakuzza Lethecus: i thought sl is a dead thing with crappy graphics

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi eliza

Eden Haiku: Me neither. I had no idea. I thought it was all about shops.

Eliza Madrigal: Hi :) Sorry to be late!

Eden Haiku: Eliza

Yakuzza Lethecus: you’ll never be late :)

    Eden Haiku: Eliza, good morning!

Eliza Madrigal: Good Morning :))

Eden Haiku: You just missed Storm, he might have crashed...

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I see... hope the weather there is not terrible again?

Eden Haiku: It seems cold at least...

Eliza Madrigal: Cold in June... hmm

Eliza Madrigal: And you Eden, are you all prepared now?

Eden Haiku: Yaku was sharing about Second Life firing out about 100 employees recently. We hope our world won't collapse!

Eden Haiku: All packed, not at all :) Still a lot to do...

Eliza Madrigal: :) Packing is funny... one of those things one continually thinks they are finished with but it seems never...

Yakuzza Lethecus: will you stay connected to the world ?

Eliza Madrigal: Sorry to hear about SL employees though...

Eden Haiku: What complicates things is I have to leave the house welcoming for my boyfriend when he will be back jet-lagged from Paris in a week before he joins me, then leaving things here cause I will be back to greet my friends from India who will spend 3 days in Montreal before going to their French course in Quebec City. Fun but lots of juggling!

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes those are joyful stresses, but still stresses :)

Eden Haiku: Yes, Yaku, I have Wifi connection in the country house. (Well, as I learnt later in the day, there is a glitch with the Internet connection over there, might take a while...Very annoying!)

Eliza Madrigal tries to imagine Eden not using the ipad... hehe....

Eden Haiku: Though I'm a bit concerned because it is another server company and I have to install the wifi gizmo myself...

Eliza Madrigal: Do you have techie friends there, Eden?

Eden Haiku: Picturing myself laying on the moss with my cat and iPad.

    Eliza Madrigal: Hey, Storm :)

Eliza Madrigal: ooooooooh :))

    Yakuzza Lethecus: wb storm

Eden Haiku: Welcome back Storm! Did you have time to script a spectacular fountain for us?

Eliza Madrigal: haha... paintings of our time will have computers and cell phones.... "girl lounging in hammock with ipod..."

Storm Nordwind: Hello again - forgot to turn the fan on and overheated

--BELL--

Yakuzza Lethecus: at least linden labs announced that there will be an client for iphone and ipad "soon"

Eden Haiku: Well Eliza, it seems I am their techie friend, so I will have to count on Apple Care if there is any glitch.

    Eliza Madrigal smiles

Eliza Madrigal: That seems a terrific thing, Ya... especially as people are constantly running around, etc

Eden Haiku: But maybe our techie friend here would know something: if the modem is from another company, it should be working with my Macs still?

Eden Haiku: I don't even know how these devices talk to each other ;)

Yakuzza Lethecus: usually it should :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: if u use wifi there you might have a router there which communicates with the external or build in modem

Yakuzza Lethecus: :P

Eden Haiku: Yes, the thing is we are getting a new router with wifi. In past years, we were only conncted through cablelines, no wifi.

Eden Haiku: That was before iPod and iPad, things change ;))

Eliza Madrigal: :))

Eliza Madrigal: What is this place like for you, Eden? Another sacred spot?

Eden Haiku: Ah yes, an artists village. Wonderful place, with so many friendly people!

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, so it isn't that you are hiding away.... just changing settings....

Eliza Madrigal: (though sometimes hiding away is fun) :)

Eden Haiku: Yoga centers, coffee shops, international art symposiums.

Eliza Madrigal: Ah! heart of a town then...

Eden Haiku: No no, really a village,. We are close to the river and it is in the middle of forest.

    Eliza Madrigal: Sounds lovely

Eden Haiku: The art symposium is held every 2 years by a local artist in the forest. Installation art. Let me look for a link ;)))

Eliza Madrigal: In the forest? wow... yes thanks

Eden Haiku: http://jardinsduprecambrien.com/accueil.php

    Storm Nordwind: Good afternoon Zen

Zen Arado: Hi all

Eden Haiku: Did not find the English page but there must be...Hi Zen!

Zen Arado: sorry I'm late

Yakuzza Lethecus: hey zen

Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zen :)

Eliza Madrigal: I love this picture on the front though... blending...

Eden Haiku: Not much pictures though...No techies in this village as you see...:)

    Eliza Madrigal: haha

Eliza Madrigal: Still, a village that recognizes the 'need' for art as expression of nature...

Eden Haiku: I saw the most wonderful art exhibit there in this symposium, an artist from a nearby town. Danielle Lagace. She created an installation with branches and black roses embroidered with quotations from one of our great mystic saints from the 17th century Marie de l'Incarnation.

--BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: She's the only artist link I clicked on just now!

    Eden Haiku: http://www.expo.umontreal.ca/exposit...passees62.htm#

Eliza Madrigal: oops... not... the artist is tricia middleton (sorry) [and also sorry bell]

Eden Haiku: Link is with Universty of Montreal but we saw it first in the little gallery in the village.

Eliza Madrigal: wonderful way to spend the Summer, Eden

Eden Haiku: She also uses lots of quotes from "Women running with wolves' of Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

Eden Haiku: Yes, hoping I will find time to write a bit :-)

Eliza Madrigal: Only recently am I learning how much that book has influenced so many!

Zen Arado: she seems quite feminist

Eliza Madrigal: I remember that I gave a copy of that book to a neighbor who looked at me like I was crazy...

Eden Haiku: Feminist in the most wonderful way Zen, I'm sure Jan would appreciate the wild woman archetype!

Eliza Madrigal: yes :))

Eden Haiku: Gave so many copies of that book too ;)

    Eliza Madrigal: :))

Eden Haiku: Did you ever hear her tapes Eliza?

Zen Arado: embroidery on the outside...repressed agression, anger and pain on the inside

Eliza Madrigal: No... never thought to look, Eden

Eden Haiku: Got them through Sounds True. She has the most wonderful storytelling voice!

Eliza Madrigal: Thank you :) Making note...

Eliza Madrigal: Zen, say more?

Zen Arado: just quoting from the description Eden gave

Eliza Madrigal: Ah :)

Eden Haiku: http://bit.ly/bm9Jvh (link to the Sounds true catalogue.)

Eliza Madrigal: ty

    Zen Arado: about Danielle Lagace

Zen Arado: I cheated...used Google translator

Eliza Madrigal: That's not cheating, but smart :)

Eden Haiku: Yes, she creates objects with traditional women's tools like pins and embroidery and she evokes the soul.

Zen Arado: I like to try to read French tho

Zen Arado: and then check with translator

Eden Haiku: Very smart!

Eliza Madrigal: I had a wonderful mentor for a few years, who brought me back into a love of traditionally 'female' arts.... she is a poet and gourmet chef, and writes about food equisitely...

Zen Arado: good way to learn

Eliza Madrigal: until then I think I subscribed more to the notion of the english patient quote of "a woman who sews should never admit it"

    Eliza Madrigal giggles

Zen Arado: I had to sew a rakusu 2 years ago

Zen Arado: found it difficult

Eden Haiku: :The English Patient" is such a great novel. I love Michael Ondaatje. The "tact of words" he says...
Eden Haiku: Rakusu?

Eliza Madrigal: I've not read anything else of his... that list gets long :)

Zen Arado: the little bib thing Zen students wear after you take the precepts

Eden Haiku: "Running in the family" is especially good.

Eliza Madrigal: Ah, if small probably more difficult to sew... and to get it just right?

Yakuzza Lethecus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakusu

    Eliza Madrigal: ty Ya

    Zen Arado: ty Yaku

Zen Arado: ys and the teacher is quite fussy about the stitching

    Zen Arado: Hi Bleu

Eden Haiku: Ty. I always like to ask when the person is sitting right next to me..

    Bleu Oleander: hi all :)

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi bleu :)

Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: bye eliza

Eden Haiku: Yes, Eliza, I will just be a little slower to post the log but don’t worry, I will :)Finally did it right away from home as things do not seem to run smoothly with the new router over there, as I checked by phone with the server...)

Eden Haiku: wow

Bleu Oleander: funny, huh!

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey luci

Eden Haiku: Thanks, one feels better with one's own multiple personnalities syndrome looking at you :)))

Zen Arado: Hi Luci :)

Bleu Oleander: :)

    Bleu Oleander: hi Luci

    Storm Nordwind: Hi Lucinda

Eden Haiku: Any idea how she does that Storm, so I can copycat her?

Lucinda Lavender: Hi All!

Eden Haiku: Hi Lucinda, good morning.

Eden Haiku: Would you Bleu, sweet you@

    Lucinda Lavender: Good Morning!

Storm Nordwind: It's quite easy, but I'll not give away her trade secrets

Eden Haiku: We could get a lot of trafic in PaB if we all multiply!!!

Storm Nordwind: Hmm... sadly that won't work!

Eden Haiku: It is not only funny it is also very beautiful Bleu with your avatars in blue playing maracas, it is gorgeous!
