    Riddle Sideways: oh Hi O
    oO0Oo Resident: Hiya Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Welcome eLiza and sTorm
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Riddle, oO0Oo, Storm

Riddle Sideways: Eliz, very nice kamona
Storm Nordwind: Thank you. Two polite people were waiting for the other to sit! :)
Eliza Madrigal: thank you so much :)
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Storm, Eliza :)
    Riddle Sideways: :)
                     --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: seems just a couple days ago it was daylight at this time now it is night
Eliza Madrigal: tad easier to wake in the day :)
Storm Nordwind: And in SL, it is the reverse
Riddle Sideways: same ol things, except for point of view

Storm Nordwind: The transition between day and night, night and day, has the scary sounding geophysical/astronomical name of "The Terminator" :)
Storm Nordwind is such an old geek
Riddle Sideways: :) but not an old greek
Eliza Madrigal: wow... why so intense :)
    Eliza Madrigal: ::::dramatic music:::::
    Storm Nordwind rolls the drum
Storm Nordwind: come back drum! I didn't mean to roll you that far!

Riddle Sideways: last night was watching a peaceful scene labeled a Convergence
Riddle Sideways: 2 far away planets
Riddle Sideways: getting close to each other
Riddle Sideways: ah, but from our POV
Storm Nordwind: All is not as appearance seems
    Riddle Sideways: sometimes
Eliza Madrigal: beautiful... Jupiter/Venus... this month has been amazing for night sky gazing
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
Riddle Sideways: was time to re-visit or makeup myth stories of Jupiter and Venus getting together
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Storm Nordwind: We did it last year in the Molecule Theater :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Riddle Sideways: that's right
Riddle Sideways: funny that the mind goes through lots of calculations
Riddle Sideways: when the eyes report a simple sight
Riddle Sideways: 2 mere points of light
    Riddle Sideways: are they close?
Riddle Sideways: no they are far
Riddle Sideways: but due to .... oh bother
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    oO0Oo Resident: ;)
oO0Oo Resident: perhaps a lot of neurons and brain cells get tickled
                     --BELL--
Storm Nordwind says to himself, do they twinkle? If not they are planets, not points of light but small discs...
Eliza Madrigal: well then bringing that in to more usual daily environment/room... throws other views into question
Riddle Sideways: and Venus looked bigger then Jupiter, but the sci. notes in the brain say no Jupi is so much bigger
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Blu
    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)
    Storm Nordwind: Good morning Bleu!
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Bleu :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
thank you for hosting session yesterday
    Bleu Oleander: yw!
Riddle Sideways: then looking thru google skymaps on the dumpphone showed Jupiter much bigger then venus
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: and the eye said no, just look!

oO0Oo Resident nods... have had certain facial muscles talking to me like that recently
Riddle Sideways: the smile muscles ?
oO0Oo Resident: How did you know?
    Riddle Sideways: :)
oO0Oo Resident: They been messaging you?
Storm Nordwind: We know because they speak louder than a whisper
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
oO0Oo Resident: they are stretching as we speak
    Riddle Sideways: almost instant message
Riddle Sideways: life is serious business and then those smile muscles show the world you are happy (by themselves)
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
Riddle Sideways: happened just the other day in the grocery store
oO0Oo Resident: Hey! come back here!
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
Eliza Madrigal: smiling in the marketplace?
    oO0Oo Resident: grocery Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: speelign is optional and highly overrated
Bleu Oleander smiles as she goes back to the kitchen for a second cup of coffee

daugther named this kitten 'Minnie'.  Now she is biggest of the three.
Riddle Sideways smiles at this mis-named kitty
Riddle Sideways: just heard loud crash upstairs
Riddle Sideways: seconds later she is in the room
    Riddle Sideways: looking "who me"
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
Storm Nordwind: Check for the smug or startled look
Riddle Sideways: does that smug look all the time
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
oO0Oo Resident: Yes.. looking around.. listening intently for some other intruder.

Bleu Oleander: anyone need some art shows to see?
    Bleu Oleander: http://lindenarts.blogspot.com/p/lea...-exhibits.html
    Riddle Sideways: thanks
    oO0Oo Resident: thanks Bleu!
Storm Nordwind: Always so much wonderful art to see in SL
    Eliza Madrigal: ty Bleu
Bleu Oleander: very fun ... yw!
    Bleu Oleander: particularly liked Harter's
Storm Nordwind: Beyond Studio 33 and UWA, I barely have chance to see more.
    Eliza Madrigal: interactive exhibit?
    Bleu Oleander: and Betty's
                     --BELL--
Storm Nordwind: These look great. Must make the time to visit. Thank you Bleu
Bleu Oleander: it might be fun to go as a group
Riddle Sideways: oh well, today was going to be a work day

Storm Nordwind makes a note to try and find a way to force "Teleport" buttons to bring up the view of his choice and not just the latest slow one
Eliza Madrigal: may inspire you :)
Eliza Madrigal: what do you mean Storm?
Riddle Sideways: tp buttons with pics?
Storm Nordwind: When you click teleport on a webpage which uses "secondlife://" protocol, it loads your latest SL viewer. But I don't want a v3 viewer to visit these places. They're too slow. But I can't find the way to force them to load up viewer 1.
    Eliza Madrigal: ooohh
Bleu Oleander: ah didn't realize that
Eliza Madrigal: nor I... background knowledge...
Eliza Madrigal: instead of arriving and stomping foot
    Bleu Oleander: haha
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
Storm Nordwind: Every time you install a new viewer it overwrites something somewhere that does this. Haven't found the way to write it back yet!
Bleu Oleander: yet is the key word :)
Riddle Sideways: ah, that geeky registry value thang
    Storm Nordwind: yes.
    oO0Oo Resident: lol

Eliza Madrigal: star map with folks on different traveling speeds
Riddle Sideways: that looks like they are close to each other
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Eliza Madrigal grins
Storm Nordwind is no longer a geek. Just give me the solution and I'll use it for art!
Riddle Sideways: maybe another cof-o-cuppee and we'll be at your speed
Eliza Madrigal: so we might well be astonished to ever line up views
Bleu Oleander goes back for a third cup
    Eliza Madrigal: eek
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
Eliza Madrigal will have to chase Bleu throughexhibit
Storm Nordwind: Wow so many wonderful Studio 33 notices this morning
    Bleu Oleander: haha
Riddle Sideways: is amazing that we all 'look' like we are right here
    Eliza Madrigal: exactly
Riddle Sideways: thnking we are close together
    Eliza Madrigal: where is 'we'
    Bleu Oleander: I'm here
Storm Nordwind: Where isn't 'we' - and why not?
Riddle Sideways: happy to be together, if only this brian would slow the calculations :)
Eliza Madrigal: Riddle noticed last week that when in portion of meditation where one considers those closest in proximity... those sitting in SL came to fore
Storm Nordwind checks his friends list for a Brian
Storm Nordwind: Yes Eliza, I was just remembering that
Eliza Madrigal: noted that too... sort of a 'hm'
Storm Nordwind: Should I change the script?
Riddle Sideways: was just in IM trying to get fc to come back and we start to discus we and remember we don't discuss we here
    Eliza Madrigal giggles

    oO0Oo Resident: more coffee anyone?
    oO0Oo Resident: ;)
    Bleu Oleander: lol
    Eliza Madrigal: why not :)
    Bleu Oleander: sure
Storm Nordwind: mmm... Sumatra please, with heavy whipping cream...
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    Eliza Madrigal faints
    Bleu Oleander: whoa
Storm Nordwind finishes his last slurp and proffers his cup for more
Eliza Madrigal: it is nearly not morning... coffee may be calling today
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: seems the people closest can easily be in this pavillion
Riddle Sideways: and it is just starting morning here
    Bleu Oleander: close is relative
Riddle Sideways: but not in SL
Riddle Sideways: again the brain/brian gets in there to calculate close-ness
What a mind-trip it is to stare at the spelling of the word "close".  As a stand-alone word.  Hmmm, a verb or adjective changes how it is pronounced.  Blocked or Nearby?  Without context the brian spins upon itself.  A beautiful thing :)
                     --BELL--
oO0Oo Resident: close relatives.. that is the feeling
Bleu Oleander: :) Brian the brain
    Alfred Kelberry: mr. storm :)
    Alfred Kelberry: hi :)

Eliza Madrigal: :) many articles being written on the wrongness of being closer/more open online than in RL, but I certainly don't feel that it is the case... not like one is replacing the other because before online, surely disconnect felt between people/hinderances to sharing... can't help but think of Scot Peck's "carass and grandfaloon" (sp?)
Alfred Kelberry: *notes the glowing ribbon*
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Boxy :))
    Bleu Oleander: hiya boxy
Riddle Sideways: hey boxy puppie, who should note the red ribbon :))))
    Alfred Kelberry: :)

Alfred Kelberry: i first noted mr. storm
Alfred Kelberry: then the rest of you
Storm Nordwind: It's the Peppy Puppy! :))
    Alfred Kelberry: then the ribbon
    oO0Oo Resident: Bonjour Boxy :)
Alfred Kelberry: right, now i can see the box too :)
Riddle Sideways: the order of note-nesses
Alfred Kelberry: i liked your email, eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: to WG? thanks Boxy
Alfred Kelberry: especially when you send in an addition in a few minutes :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) which is usually
Alfred Kelberry: um, i think it was. yes.
    Alfred Kelberry: cute
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Storm Nordwind loves those additions
Eliza Madrigal is a clown not by choice but by calling
    Eliza Madrigal: =p~
    Storm Nordwind: Classic. Frame that!
Alfred Kelberry: fresh, continuing mind, without patches or rewriting :)
Eliza Madrigal dreams of someone who will come in after and polish it all up before framing
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
Eliza Madrigal: as though in step the whole time
Eliza Madrigal: though that wouldn't be wabi sabi :)
Riddle Sideways: Bleu, can each have more then one quote up?
    Alfred Kelberry: absolutely not!
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
    Bleu Oleander: why not?
Bleu Oleander: short on quotes atm
Alfred Kelberry: um... i'm not sure, really

oO0Oo Resident: Eliza, what are the arguments against being closer online.. and can you explain carass and granfaloon please?
Riddle Sideways: if one of you does not already have a quote up, Eliza's would be a good one
    Alfred Kelberry: agreed
Alfred Kelberry: car ass. yes, i'm curious.
Eliza Madrigal: well the term grandfalloon is Vonegut... but Peck described the feeling of obligation to bond with for instance, neighbors...
Eliza Madrigal: whether or not there seemed a natural connection... some sort of societal model...
    Bleu Oleander loves Vonegut
    Storm Nordwind: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokononism#Terminology
    Eliza Madrigal: thank you Storm
    Bleu Oleander: hiya Yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Yau
    Eliza Madrigal: Yaku*
    Riddle Sideways: hiya yak
    Storm Nordwind waves to Yaku
    oO0Oo Resident: Hallo Yaku :)

Alfred Kelberry: i sort of heard abotu this guy
    Alfred Kelberry: yaku :)
Riddle Sideways: the cat's cradle guy?
Eliza Madrigal: so there is more opportunity now to connect on various basis ...
Alfred Kelberry: if he wrote the cat's cradle 2k years ago, he could be jesus by now
Eliza Madrigal: not that I think we should forget the other
Bleu Oleander: Cats Cradle one of my favs
Eliza Madrigal: and sometimes of course there are overlap.... neighbors who are nice company, etc
    Eliza Madrigal: *overlaps
Alfred Kelberry: i think it's a common cocept to be kind to your neighbor
oO0Oo Resident puts an arm around Boxy
Bleu Oleander: tell that to homeowners associations :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes, kind to everyone :) especially boxies
    Eliza Madrigal laughs Bleu
    oO0Oo Resident: lol
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Riddle Sideways: would tell you the topic yaku, if was known
oO0Oo Resident: All we know is that Riddle is working
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    oO0Oo Resident: ;)
Bleu Oleander: how can we know anything?
Alfred Kelberry: maybe it's more common in a social oriented societies
Riddle Sideways: ah yes, pay checks are nice
                     --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: neighbors like Jupiter and venus
Eliza Madrigal: maybe it is about streams... streams of ideas and basis for connection... even about callings and choices
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Alfred Kelberry: *thinks: cute costume*
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello san
    Santoshima Resident: hello :)
    Alfred Kelberry: san :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi San
    Santoshima Resident: hey ((boxy))
    Santoshima Resident: hi everyone
    Riddle Sideways: Hi San
Eliza Madrigal: cute bow, Boxy :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi San

    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: why are the parrots on your shirt, san? :)
Santoshima Resident: it a free shirt from Animania
    Alfred Kelberry: ah
Bleu Oleander: where would you be if you were a parrot?
Storm Nordwind: Better than just flying around in everyone's hair - would be my guess
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
Riddle Sideways: use to get shirts from the free box
    Santoshima Resident: up and up
Santoshima Resident: a very favorite film : the parrots of telegraph hill
Santoshima Resident: [hope i'm remembering the name]
    Bleu Oleander: yes!
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
    Alfred Kelberry: never heard
Alfred Kelberry: "A homeless musician finds meaning to his life when he starts a friendship with dozens of parrots."
Santoshima Resident: or something like that ...
    Alfred Kelberry: ^.^

the ribbon text does not appear in the chat text, so Riddle seems daft to blurt out refs to Adelene.
    Riddle Sideways: missing Adelene
    Eliza Madrigal: nods
Riddle Sideways: should invite to bday parties
    Alfred Kelberry: whose birthday?
Eliza Madrigal: nice idea to reach out to those who have been here along the way!
    Riddle Sideways: *anniversy party
Santoshima Resident: the eternal day that is birth day
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
Eliza Madrigal: not sure we still have all the emails but those who have SL accounts perhaps could make a note invite
Eliza Madrigal: texture invitation and note of appreciation for participation
Riddle Sideways: like facebook's 'find your friends'
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: points of light
Bleu Oleander: oops missed a step ... parrots to bdays?
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Riddle Sideways: was that a step?
    Eliza Madrigal: more coffee bleu?
Alfred Kelberry: better to use emails. sl note can get lost easily. and they may not even log in that often.
Bleu Oleander is having attention gaps today ... perhaps a 4th cup
    Santoshima Resident: parrots = celebration
Eliza Madrigal: Riddle mentioned Adelene due to ribbon, arising from parrots
Riddle Sideways: Adelene and threeD lions that use to be here

    Bleu Oleander: http://www.arizonarealestatenotebook...ced-lovebirds/

Eliza Madrigal: ah, these we have in mass... the smaller green parrots... gather and chatter in shrubs and trees, hardly seen until they fly away but certainly heard
