It was evening again, 7 pm SLT. Pia had already arrived near the tea house when I dropped out of the sky.

    Pema Pera: Hi Pia!
Pia Iger: you get a new shirt.
    Pema Pera: inside or outside?
    Pema Pera: yes, about time!
Pema Pera: I should learn to dress better :)
Pia Iger: You are fine. Outside.
Pema Pera: I like the Earth tones of your dress
Pema Pera: reminds me of sand stone
    Pema Pera: in Arizona
Pia Iger: thanks. Keep it simple.
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Friedrich Ochsenhorn: hi there
    Pema Pera: Hi Fred!
    Pia Iger: Hi, Fried.
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: how has everyone been? i’ve been hopscotching around a bit, and never in the right place at the right time
    Pia Iger: Hi doug,
    Pema Pera: Hi Doug!
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: (or always exactly where I am supposed to be)
    Pema Pera: :).
doug Sosa: oops, lost all the setting for a moment.
Pema Pera: Have you and Pia met yet, Fred?
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: i think once, in passing, but hello

After Friedrich and Doug had joined us, Dakini and Tara arrived, and suddenly there were six of us.

    Pema Pera: Hi Dakini!
    Pia Iger: Hi, Dakini,
    Friedrich Ochsenhorn: hi!
    Dakini Rhode: hi =^^=
    Pema Pera: Hi Tara!
    Tara Farmer: hey guys!
Pia Iger: Wow, one min ago I was alone here, now full house.
Tara Farmer: fried, love the do
Dakini Rhode: sorry i was a little late
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: heh. nobody told me it was blue hair day
    Dakini Rhode: hehe
    Tara Farmer: hey baby
    Tara Farmer: LOL
Pema Pera: I’ll stick to copper
Pia Iger: Tara is sinked into the wood plank.
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: pema: some would call that red
Dakini Rhode: ah pema you don’t know what you’re missing

Always ready to take up a challenge, I looked into my inventory for blue hair, and found a similar style as what I was wearing, in `ocean blue’.

Pema Pera: perhaps I’ll try :)
Tara Farmer: what the heck is that on my chest?
Dakini Rhode: what does it look like?
Tara Farmer: i think pia sees it
Tara Farmer: it looks like a piece of wood
Dakini Rhode: hmm i think your gesa needs alterations
Pia Iger: no. I just started a week agon.
Tara Farmer: pis, wanna go shopping sometime?

At this point my blue hair was being noticed.

    Dakini Rhode: Pema wow!
    Dakini Rhode: hahaha
    Tara Farmer: awesome
Pema Pera: your wish is my command Dakini!
    Dakini Rhode: o dear
Dakini Rhode: ok let’s talk about PaB
    Pema Pera: yes, let’s!
Pema Pera: are we having fun with the explorations?
    Pia Iger: thanks, Tara !
    Tara Farmer: you are welcome
Pema Pera: One thing I have noticed myself is how it is blending in more and more with other parts of my practice
    Pema Pera: like mantras
Pema Pera: or simple notions I remember
    Pema Pera: images
Pema Pera: various forms of inspiration
    Tara Farmer: have fun honey
Pema Pera: all of which only take a sec or two or often much less
Pia Iger: Tara, will try them all!
    doug Sosa: .9 sec?
Pema Pera: often I feel that there are three aspects to the 9 seconds for me
    Pema Pera: the first flash
Pema Pera: the next 1 sec
    Pema Pera: the rest
Pema Pera: but that is not always so
Dakini Rhode: i’ve noticed that too, Pema

We got into talking about the PaB practice for a while.

Pema Pera: but these three are quite distinct
Dakini Rhode: that first flash - when i first remember - is quite distinct
doug Sosa: fash, like dropping off a branch onto the ground, then accepting the new solidity, then relax.
Dakini Rhode: but if i use a timer, is not the same
doug Sosa: so funny. count nine seconds - but time is an illusion.
    Dakini Rhode: i don’t count
Pema Pera: a movie is also an illusion, yet there is a lot of information in there :)
Tara Farmer: yes, pema, how do you address that?
Tara Farmer: from a scientific standpoint?
doug Sosa: old joke i poland “difference between life and theater?”
doug Sosa: “In theater there is an emergency exit.”
    Tara Farmer: LOL
Pema Pera: perhaps there is one in life too . . . .
    Dakini Rhode: that is funny
doug Sosa: As confucius says, “the way out is through the door. how come nobody uses that method?”
Tara Farmer: is the 9 seconds an effort to make time stand still? or to “lose time”
Pema Pera: but perhaps every appearance is a door
Pema Pera: every emotion every thought
    Pema Pera: no effort, Tara
    Pema Pera: just exploration
    Pema Pera: no expectations even
Pema Pera: every appearance a friend
    Pema Pera: a friendly entrance
    Pema Pera: into Being
    Tara Farmer: I see
Tara Farmer: I think I have to go guys…I apologize for not being able to stay longer
Tara Farmer: I need to do some research before crashing

Tara started to leave, and meanwhile told us about an upcoming Europe trip. By the time she left, my computer connection crashed, and it took me a while to get back in. Doug would later send me the following missing part of the chat log.

    doug Sosa: “adieu
    Pema Pera is Offline
Dakini Rhode: oh and you can get these lovely robes at our new store (but not the blue hair)
Dakini Rhode: i guess Pema had to go, too
    Friedrich Ochsenhorn: graceful
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: i am proud to claim I haven’t spent a penny on SL yet - unless you count time!
Dakini Rhode: these robes are in your price range
doug Sosa: quick, but maybe technical..
    Dakini Rhode: they are free
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: but that was experienced, not spent.
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: oh, cool. you’re the bestest host
doug Sosa: I don’t think i would look as good in one.
Dakini Rhode: o yes you would look better
    doug Sosa: how?
Friedrich Ochsenhorn: how do i get to the store? i would enjoy browsing the selection
Dakini Rhode: these are buddhist practice robes
Dakini Rhode: i had to alter them to fit me
    Friedrich Ochsenhorn: brb
    doug Sosa: then perhaps.
Dakini Rhode: just South of here
Dakini Rhode: not too much there yet, but more to come soon
doug Sosa: I am too much of a daoist for such elegance.
Pia Iger: I will check it out some day.
Pia Iger: I feel PaB already takes much time.
Pia Iger: don’t want to hang on SL too much.
doug Sosa: use it to relax. open up. then it takes no time, even gives back time.
Pia Iger: I think I was saying nosense.
doug Sosa: and you got me to do the same!
    Dakini Rhode: it’s interesting
Dakini Rhode: this seems like being in a place
Pia Iger: I notice Dakini has quite gestures.
    Pia Iger: in this robe
    Pema Pera is Online
    doug Sosa: but always alive.

At this point I had arrived back at the tea house, and I could follow the conversation again.

Dakini Rhode: people who spend too much time in SL
Dakini Rhode: can get gestures to override the default gestures
    Dakini Rhode: wb Pema
    Pema Pera: crash
Pema Pera: and then internet connection problems
Pema Pera: glad to be back again!
Dakini Rhode: back in time for the 9sec
    Pema Pera: haha
    Pema Pera: yes
Pema Pera: arrived with the bell
Pema Pera: can someone send me the missing chat log part :-)
    Pema Pera: (predictable question)
Pia Iger: not much. we were just admiring Dakini’s robe
Pema Pera: oh, that should definitely not be lost from the log ! !
    doug Sosa: how?
Dakini Rhode: Pema, i was explaining we have a shop now
Dakini Rhode: these robes are free in the shop
Pia Iger: ok. I am logging the chat
Pema Pera: where is the shop?
Dakini Rhode: just South of here
Pema Pera: Thanks, Pia, if you can later email it to me that would be great — thanks!
    Pia Iger: sure.
Pema Pera: can we walk over, Dakini?
Pema Pera: The half hour is up
Pema Pera: so we are free to move

I was curious as well, to see the new shop. So off we went and admired the new clothes that were there on display. Ryusho Ort, the creator of the clothes, would meet us there a little later, and so we would get first-hand information from the master himself.
