I arrive first and wander around the pavilion. Before I can get back and get seated, Maxine and Pema arrive and have settled in. I sit down between them. We spend the first half hour or so in playful banter, enjoying each other's company

Adams Rubble: I like history but I am ready Cokie Roberts' "Founding Mothers"; little tidbits like that one appear. But Roberts is not a historian and often makes value judgments which are questionable. Still it is interesting. History not usually syudied

Adams Rubble: Not dramatically. I have just aded new interests. Come back to things I enjoyed years ago and listen with a new sense of understanding. I have only begun to appreciate opera in the last ten years
