The Guardian for this meeting was Adams Rubble. The comments are by Adams Rubble.

Riddle was already sitting in the pavilion when I arrived. We were soon joined by Eos and later Neela, Eliza, Ninja and Yakussa

Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: good Morning, Adams
Adams Rubble: Nice to see you outside your time slot. hehe
Riddle Sideways: yeah, I don't get outside my time slot as much as you
Adams Rubble: for me some weeks more than others :)
Riddle Sideways: need to break down those walls :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: the bird feeder outside my bedroom woke me early
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: they can get very noisy :)
Riddle Sideways: like humans going early to the coffee shop, all the early birds go (with the squirrels) to the feeder each morning
    Adams Rubble: Hello Eos :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: like the old saying, the early bird wakes the sleepy heads
Adams Rubble: hehe. Yes, heard that
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Eos
Adams Rubble: we are discussing the sounds of birds
Eos Amaterasu: very relevant... I can hear them in RL constantly here at home
Adams Rubble: I have had a number of people mention to me lately they were awakened by them
    Adams Rubble: Hello Neela :)
Riddle Sideways: it is crow time here in RL. They are very noisey outside right now
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Neela
    Neela Blaisdale: Hello everyone
Neela Blaisdale: Nice to meet you Eos
Adams Rubble: anyone have anything they would like to discuss?
    Eos picks up on awakening
Eos Amaterasu: By awaken, you mean, awaken?
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I think they mean the other awaken :)
    Riddle Sideways: could be both
    Adams Rubble: could be :)
Eos Amaterasu: I like the quality of bird tweets
Eos Amaterasu: kind of sharp, and in the middle of a space
Eos Amaterasu: which can take me out of my cloud
Eos Amaterasu: and into that space
Eos Amaterasu: where I already am :-)
    Eos Amaterasu: anyway
    Eos Amaterasu: micro awake
Adams Rubble: nice thought Eos :)
Riddle Sideways: yes, awakeness seems to have a sliding scale
Eos Amaterasu: (we had a robin's nest this year in our porch rafters)
Eos Amaterasu: 9 secs is actually pretty mega :-)
Adams Rubble: We have had a number of birds nesting around our house this year
Riddle Sideways: it is very interesting watching other families growing up
    Adams Rubble nods
Riddle Sideways: you can watch a bird's family grow in weeks
    [90 second bell here]
Adams Rubble: sort of like SL Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: I really still appreciate the presence of the appearance of the fountains 90 second mist
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eos Amaterasu: Yes, a nice form
    Adams Rubble: (Here that Storm?)
    Adams Rubble: hear
Eos Amaterasu: (probably he does.. he can see for miles , mabye even hear :-)
    Neela Blaisdale: hehe
Riddle Sideways hopes the GOC will correct our speelings
    Adams Rubble: Of course!!!
Adams Rubble: If the GOC can spell correctly
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Eos Amaterasu: Part of an environment for capturing or containing or expressing that ..... 9 sec /appearance/appreciation/letting go thingy
Eos Amaterasu: Do you fnd some environments or objects more conducive to that?
Storm did hear us and replied
Adams Rubble: (message from Storm) Storm Nordwind: hahaha!!! Thank you for that precious moment! :)
    Riddle Sideways: of course, Eos
    Adams Rubble: yes Eos
Riddle Sideways: bird song and smooth rocks are conducive
Riddle Sideways: subway trains are not
Adams Rubble: Good morning Eliza :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Eliza
    Neela Blaisdale: Hi Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi everyone :)
Adams Rubble: Do you have subways there Riddle ?
    Eos Amaterasu: OM, Elia :-)
    Eos Amaterasu: Eliza*
Eliza Madrigal: Wow, Neela as brunette! :)
Riddle Sideways: oh no, I would not have them in my neighborhood
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: OM, Eos :)
    Eos Amaterasu: Absolute, hmm...
    Eliza Madrigal grins
Eos Amaterasu: I've been taking the bus lately, and find it's an interesting "transition" environment
Adams Rubble: It is often helpful to change parts of one's routine
    Adams Rubble: see everything differently
Eos Amaterasu: I think household can also convey that quality
Eos Amaterasu: I mean, that's where you'd like to live :-)
Neela Blaisdale: yes I've noticed that my commute to work can totally be a different experience depending on what I'm listening to..
Neela Blaisdale: actually becomes very enjoyable when I listen to a book by Pema Chodrun
Neela Blaisdale: actually look forward to it:)
Eliza Madrigal nods, yes she's wonderful
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: going through the same ol daily comute, but a different chapter of the book
    Eliza Madrigal: with nice company
Neela Blaisdale: yes..also read an article in VF about Ms Porter's school..sounds horrible but interestingly they mentioned that she had gone there! Made me think a lot about transitions
    [90 second bell here]
    Riddle Sideways: ty adams
    Adams Rubble: what is VF
    Riddle Sideways: Vanity Faire
    Riddle Sideways: Virtual Food
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    [90 second bell here]
Eliza Madrigal: Is moving furniture transition?
    Riddle Sideways: oh yes
Adams Rubble: It might help in seeing differently
Eos Amaterasu: Your arm moving is also transition
Adams Rubble: Some houses are too crowded to move anything
Eos Amaterasu: (more likely my arm moving :-)
Neela Blaisdale: yes moving anything can change your perspective..
    Neela Blaisdale: 8ro
Eliza Madrigal: changes the way one moves ... like a decision that sparks several others
Riddle Sideways: moving from your 'readingchair' to your 'writing desk' can be a bigtransition
Eos Amaterasu: there are moments between chat messages
Riddle Sideways: moments between that let you guess where this might go
Eos Amaterasu: sometimes there are messages inside the 90 secs
Adams Rubble: none of the birds would have guessed furniture :)
Neela Blaisdale: recently was somewhere where people spoke about the pause before speech..how one can make that more deliberate and it can be very helpful
    Adams Rubble: yes Neela
Neela Blaisdale: hard to amke it a habit though...
Eos Amaterasu: appreciating the presenting of speech
Riddle Sideways is surroundedd by people who feel they MUST fill those spaces
    Neela Blaisdale: exactly Eos!
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal catches hereslf doing the same sometimes.. even here...
Neela Blaisdale: for me less here than in RL..harder to pause in RL...
Adams Rubble: We are like the birds who filled the aair with sound this morning Riddle :)
    Neela Blaisdale: :)
Eliza Madrigal: in Rl I am far quieter than what is revealed to me in some logs :)
    Adams Rubble: Hello Ninja :)
    Ninja Easterman: hello
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ninja, nice to see you again :)
    Neela Blaisdale: Hello Ninja
Riddle Sideways: it is amusing to watch people and birds that must fill the chat connectors with long "ummmmmms"
Riddle Sideways: so they don't lose control
Eliza Madrigal: interesting... so they don't let go
Eliza Madrigal: Can one speak without filling the silence?
Riddle Sideways: maybe if we use body language
Adams Rubble: this is a discussion group, silence is welcome but not necissarilty a goal
    Adams Rubble: Hello Yakuzza :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Yakuzza :)
    [90 second bell here]
Ninja Easterman: what is conversation today eh....
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Yakuzza
    Neela Blaisdale: Hello Yakuzza
Eliza Madrigal: Ninja, transitions and silence it seems :)
Eos Amaterasu: places to fall into the 9 secs in
    Ninja Easterman: ah i see
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah
Adams Rubble: birds, audio books and furniture. hehe
Riddle Sideways: how ummmmm is no OM
Adams Rubble: and sounds of ssilence
    Neela Blaisdale: very good Riddle:)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: we are not very silent about silence
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Some have a element of silence in their movements...in speech... marvelous thing to cultivate perhaps...
    Ninja Easterman: silence treatment...
    Eos Amaterasu: monkey chant :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: *an element :)
    Neela Blaisdale: or monkey chat:)
    Eos Amaterasu: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kecak
Ninja Easterman: not much to talk about silence....lol
    Ninja Easterman: see......
Eliza Madrigal: fun to try..hehe :)
Riddle Sideways: it isfun watching the gaps
    Eos Amaterasu: mind the gap
Eliza Madrigal: purposeful gaps have a way of weaving everything else together
Ninja Easterman: blinded me with silence......
Riddle Sideways: bridging the gaps is important
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eos Amaterasu: How do you mean, Riddle?
Ninja Easterman: every one has that tune goin around in head our just me.....lol
Eliza Madrigal: Hello darkness my old friend... (You mean that one?)
Adams Rubble: we were just discussing that here in RL
    Ninja Easterman: ah lol
Ninja Easterman: blinded me with silence....
Riddle Sideways: yes, that song has bridged me somewhere else
Eos Amaterasu: enlightened me with silence...
Riddle Sideways: mostly stuck trying to remember artist's name
    Riddle Sideways: Timbuck3
Ninja Easterman: hello darkness my old freind.....lol
Riddle Sideways: oh, was thinking of "she blinded me with science..."
    Ninja Easterman: ah thats it..lol
    Eos Amaterasu: freudian slip :-)
    Riddle Sideways: ah, Thomas dolby
Riddle Sideways: strange how I could not go on until I knew the artists name
Eos Amaterasu: caught in a riddle
    [90 second bell here]
Eliza Madrigal: Silence surely contrasts what is going on my RL environment today... costumes and giggling...
Riddle Sideways: why, what is going on
Eliza Madrigal: Anime convention weekend for my kids
Eos Amaterasu: "my mom's an avatar" :-)
Adams Rubble: busy here in RL too
Eliza Madrigal: they came in very late and are leaving now...
Eliza Madrigal: Heheh Eos... this is not so far from what they do
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
