Hey There :)  I spent about 45 min by myself at the pavilion today.  I fiddled with my inventory, found some scripts, worked on a document ... la la la, the things that keep us busy.  While I was fiddling around I found a sleep script and put my av down for a nap, the thought being my av would be well rested should someone arrive. :)  Plus it's a little too zombie to sit there waiting, waiting.....  The sleep animation is actually kind of restful.  Breathing slows, thoughts de-jumble, strange but nice.  Fael dropped by around the 3rd bell and we had a very casual conversation about this and that.  Cal

Fael Illyar: well, at least it no longer takes the whole day to get a shape look good enough to like it enough to use :)

Caledonia Heron: I'm just vain enough to care but a big enough slacker to know when to stop :)
Fael Illyar: I care about what I look like here but only rarely get the inspiration to change things :)
Fael Illyar: I'm in this outfit because I felt like using this one for making this shape

Caledonia Heron: what is the "more" part? a better overall sense of it?
Fael Illyar: the feeling the face gives. most likely matches the outfit now :)

Fael Illyar: then, all that's left is the hardest part :P naming the shape :)
Caledonia Heron: lol .... make sure it's something descriptive ... not shape 22 or something :)
Fael Illyar: that's what it sort of says right now :P

Wondering about the autorecord project...

Caledonia Heron: how is the autorecording going?
Fael Illyar: wol has made lsl part ... I'm not sure how complete that is right now. Perhaps ready to be tested. Then I need to make the matching part for the webserver that receives the lines.

Caledonia Heron: it will come in real-time or on a delay?
Fael Illyar: slightly delay
Caledonia Heron: does lsl hand to cgi or something?
Fael Illyar: yes
Fael Illyar: buffers for a while or until buffer is full.
Fael Illyar: that's what the delay is. Reduces the number of http requests to be made
Fael Illyar: SL limits those somewhat
Caledonia Heron: sure, more efficient
Fael Illyar: maximum 25 per 20 seconds

Options on autorecord...

Caledonia Heron: seems likely we will capture 100% ... wonder if we need a backup ... like goc captures log just in case for a wile
Fael Illyar: yes, that's the plan

Caledonia Heron: is the raw file settable - like we can remove time stamps? that is a bear to do by hand
Caledonia Heron: maybe we just leave them in if so
Fael Illyar: perhaps we go for automated option.
Fael Illyar: the data will have timestamps but those can be removed for posting
Caledonia Heron: mmm, k , makes sense

Quick turnaround on the logs coming soon...

Caledonia Heron: so will people still comment the files I wonder, or just post the whole thing as a stream of data
Fael Illyar: I'd prefer keeping the comments if possible but move the log capture to automation.
Caledonia Heron: I agree, sometimes the comments reveal the flavour of the conversation
Fael Illyar: will have the logs available faster for the most impatient :P
