2008.09.12 19:00 - A Quiet Friday Evening

I was five minutes late to the pavilion, but no one was there when I arrived. Doug appeared about five minutes after I did, dissapeared, and reappeared a minute later.

Adelene Dawner: Hi Doug :)
doug Sosa: hi, i seem to be unstable, let's see if i can hold...
Adelene Dawner: :)
doug Sosa: of course i meant my 'puter, not me :)
Adelene Dawner chuckles.
doug Sosa: do you find this "space" as delightful as I do? I come to it as if i were going to a real place.
Adelene Dawner: It's nice. Not quite my taste in architecture, but that's okay. I come for the company in any case. ^.^
doug Sosa: i guess it isn;t y taste, but it is so surrounded by nature. i love the birds.
Adelene Dawner: The sounds are nice, yes. I keep meaning to add sound to my place.
doug Sosa: hm.. envious of having a place.
Adelene Dawner: Don't you have a guardian plot?
doug Sosa: nope.
doug Sosa: sory for long delay. my machine is acting up..
Adelene Dawner: s'ok.
Adelene Dawner: Anyway, yeah, all guardians can get a plot of land through PaB... just talk to Storm, I think.
Adelene Dawner: It's good fun, making a home here.
Adelene Dawner: I'm mid-remodel myself.
doug Sosa: how much time did it take?
Adelene Dawner: It's not done yet, but the basic switch from open-air area to cave took like two days.
doug Sosa: that's a lot of digging!
Adelene Dawner: ^.^
doug Sosa: can you explain ^,^ to me?
Adelene Dawner: It's an emoticon - a japanese style one, intended to be looked at as is, not turned like :) is. It represents two happy eyes separated by a small nose.
doug Sosa: ah, i thought maybe "astonishement"
Adelene Dawner: Nope, that'd be O.O
doug Sosa: you're good :)
Adelene Dawner: :)
doug Sosa: nice sitting quietly with you though dinner is ready and I must say bye.

Fifteen minutes later, Stevenaia arrived.

Adelene Dawner: No worries. It's been quiet anyway. You didn't miss much.
