Adams Rubble was the guardian and the brief comments are Rubblized

Wol was at the pavilion waiting for me, working on the autologging project with Fael (working remotely) when I arrived

    Wol Euler: hello adams
    Adams Rubble: Hello Wol :)
Adams Rubble: I seem to have a blue ball following me over my head
    Wol Euler: yep :-)
Wol Euler: that's the future, everyone will want one.
    Adams Rubble snorts (like Storm)
Wol Euler: or rather, everyone will get one whether they want it or not.
    Adams Rubble: ah
Wol Euler: it's the "listener" part of the autologging.
    Adams Rubble: ah
    Adams Rubble looks up nervously
    Wol Euler: lol
Wol Euler: we left out the "bolt of lightning" and "bursting waterballoon" effects.

As if in response to Wol's statement, all of the sudden my camera was out of control and it was wandering around the nearby countryside. When I stood up to bring it back, the camera instead tp'd me to tnat spot. I finally had to tp back

    Adams Rubble: Hmmm. technical problems
    Wol Euler: oh?
Adams Rubble: My camera just flew away and then when I stood up, I went with it
    Wol Euler: oh, how odd.
Adams Rubble looks up more nervously
Adams Rubble: It's a rainy morning here, maybe that is it :)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Adams Rubble doesn't have her mind in gear yet
Wol Euler: no worries, in fact I should apologise in advance because I'm IMing with Fael about the logging database.
    Adams Rubble: Ah, PaB work
    Adams Rubble looks up again
Wol Euler: yep, it is taking much more time and effort than I expected, even after writing the spec.
    Adams Rubble: wow
Adams Rubble: I just noticed your hair when you stood up, it is very nice
Wol Euler: thank you :-) an old favourite, one of hte first prim hairs I bought.
Adams Rubble: Ah, I am partial to my first too but it takes up too much prim space and makes me crash :(
    Wol Euler: not good.
Wol Euler: you really do need a new computer, then :-)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Wol Euler: I want to sneak a listener into the Hall for the 8am session, I'll brb.
    Adams Rubble: OK

I watch the blinking shadow of Wol run away into the distance, wait awhile, and then returning to the pavilion

    Adams Rubble: wb Wol
    Wol Euler: ty!
Adams Rubble: It is very quiet here this morning
Wol Euler: the 1am session was quite funny. Nobody was in the mood for a seriuos discussion, so we danced the manbo and chatted frivolously.
Adams Rubble: Hmm. Sort of the same as the 1 pm discussion yesterday
Adams Rubble: It is funny, I attended a whole bunch of serious discussions before that
Adams Rubble: I know that I seemed to have insights yesterday morning and then my mind seems to have taken a vacation
    Wol Euler: lol
Wol Euler: vacations are good. Not for every day, but once in a while ...

I brought up my dream activity last night

Adams Rubble: I had all kinds of image-thoughts last night sleeping and I was watching all the levels of thought
Adams Rubble: But usually I remember and this morning I don't remember much
    Wol Euler: lucid dreaming?
Adams Rubble: One interesting scene though
Adams Rubble: I was watching a red pepper grow (interesting stuff huh?)
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
Adams Rubble: and then I opened my eyes and poof, it disappeared
Adams Rubble: It makes sense but I was bitterly disappointed
Adams Rubble: I couldn't get the scene back
Wol Euler: yeah, I can imagine.
Wol Euler: we could go all symbologist and ask what you associate with red peppers ...
Adams Rubble: I think the ikmagery stuf may be realted to using this AV yesterday
    Adams Rubble: haha Wol
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Adams Rubble: I owe that to you :)

Wol makes an observation which sounds right

Wol Euler: so was **** perhaps dreaming as Rubble?
Adams Rubble: hmmm. maybe. That hadn't occured to me. One of the levels
    Adams Rubble: yes, probably
Wol Euler: I do dream as Wol, in this body.
Adams Rubble: I was watching myself dream as Rubble
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Adams Rubble: But if that is the case, and I think it is, then I was definetly aware of the difference. I was watching myself watching Rubble dreaming. That is why I am thinking of levels
Adams Rubble: I don't usually think of levels
    Wol Euler nods
Adams Rubble: I wonder why now
Wol Euler: as you say, possibly related to the conversation last night, which also had a few levels
Adams Rubble: The pepers were beautiful :)
    Adams Rubble: peppers
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Wol Euler: :-)

And then it dawns on me...I am dreaming on three levels, maybe four (Being watching?)

    Adams Rubble: Ah, something else
Wol Euler: and the Adamses and **** have been doing all kinds of growing.
Adams Rubble: Did you see Pema's email yesterday
Adams Rubble: This may be realted to that
    Adams Rubble: related
Wol Euler: yes, but I have to admint that I don't remember any details.
Wol Euler: Eye fires up the laptop ...
Adams Rubble: I am working some more on trying to get a personal feel for Being
Adams Rubble: Pema made various suggestions on the three levels of me, avatar, self and inner person
Adams Rubble: So last night I must have been looking at the three levels
    Wol Euler reads, and nods
Adams Rubble: For the first time since being a child, I felt myself out of my body lookig at myself sleeping
Wol Euler: Z self is "the one that was there when you are born and die"?
    Wol Euler: ah!
Adams Rubble: yes, and just referred to it as the inner person
Adams Rubble: So I was looking at my physical self
Adams Rubble: Then I probbaly looked at my "self" and now I may remember
Adams Rubble: and then through Adams' eyes
Adams Rubble: but then the physical self opened its eyes
Wol Euler smiles. I was just about to ask that.
Adams Rubble: and Adams' seeing was gone
Adams Rubble: and maybe it was Adams who was bitterly disappointed
Adams Rubble: Now, all I have to do is figure out whether that says anything about Being. hehe
    Wol Euler chuckles.
Wol Euler: I think (reading Pema) that "Z self is not Being" is true as expressed, like a univesral joint is not a car.
Wol Euler: but definitely part of Being, if it is a ... what to say?
Adams Rubble: Yes, if one substitutes Being with God, that becomes very clear
    Adams Rubble: to me
Wol Euler: I thnk that sane, authentic, "normal" people are part of Being, and the psychopaths and mass murderers have become detached from Being.
Wol Euler: which is why they are able to be so cruel
Adams Rubble: Again, if one subsitutes God, that becomes very clear
    Wol Euler nods
Wol Euler: there is in Holocaust literature the concept that the Shaoh happened "while God slept"
Adams Rubble: I think that conection with Being by z-self is what I belive at the moment
Adams Rubble: I have heard that Wol
Wol Euler: Z being the core and basis, as it were.
Adams Rubble: That would be a metaphor for God being absent
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: or the doer having absented himself from God
Adams Rubble: But it also could be that "self" is so strong that it hides z-self's connection with Being/God
Adams Rubble: I am beginning to see my "story" a little differently from that angle
Adams Rubble: When I was young, my z-self felt close to God
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Adams Rubble: But then as my "self" began to develop God did not fit the things it was tauhgt
Adams Rubble: Now as I am working back through"self" I can begin to se the connection again
Adams Rubble: As Pema, noted in his three examples, that may, or may not, have some truth to it :)
Adams Rubble sorry for badly paraphrasing what Pema said
Wol Euler shakes her head. No worries.
Adams Rubble: I used to think there was a concept of sliding morality
Wol Euler: and as for "may or may not", this is LOA against LOR again. From this distance and angle, we can't tell :-)
Adams Rubble: That one did one thing worng and accepted that, and then it was sort of OK to talke the next step, usw.
Adams Rubble: That same concept might be "self" getting stronger
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Adams Rubble not good with LOA and LOR
Wol Euler: _knowing_ whether the statements are true or not would require access to Being#s knowledge and percepetions.
Wol Euler: Absolute knowledge, and we only have Relative at best.
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Adams Rubble: thanks

    and Being...

Adams Rubble: I have this sense that it is important to become more in tune with Being as the next step in becoming a better person
    Wol Euler nods.
Adams Rubble: and to become more compassionate
    Wol Euler nods again.
Adams Rubble: It is important to understand ourselves as much as possible but then we need help for the next step
Wol Euler: true. No matter whether that help is called "grandpa" or "psychologist" or "priest" or "guru"
Wol Euler: or maybe even "stranger".
Adams Rubble: I was thinking of Being :)
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Wol Euler: I guess I was channeling my Inner Warthog again.
Adams Rubble: But Nisaragadatta sems to suggest the first is enough but I have more to read :)
Wol Euler: first = "Z self is Being"?
Adams Rubble: You are correct Wol, I was just skipping by that step, possibly foolishly. Guidance always helps
Wol Euler: oh, sorry, "understand ourselves as much as possible". gotcha.
Adams Rubble: Guidance helps get us to understand oursleves AND conect with Being
Adams Rubble ponders on her koan "Who is impatient?"....MEEEE!!!!!
    Wol Euler: lol
Wol Euler: what do we want? "everyhing!"
Wol Euler: when do we want it? "now!"
    Adams Rubble: :)

We return to the subject of autologging

Adams Rubble feels very patient about autologging if it is any help
    Wol Euler: :-)
Wol Euler: I am jumpy enough for everyone.
Adams Rubble: Some people seem to have more toruble posting than others
Wol Euler: we are still a week away, to be honest. Haven't even started on exporting it to the Wiki.
Wol Euler: yeah, I hear you.
Adams Rubble: I see a problem with people not wearing their playasbeing tags
Wol Euler: ah, it doesn't use that any more. There is a written list of guradians in the object, which it consults.
Adams Rubble: Ah, way to go!!!
Wol Euler: nobody needs to wear the tag.
    Adams Rubble: great
Wol Euler: downside is that there is no "starting gun" except time and presence.
Adams Rubble: Have you thought of alt names?
Wol Euler: yes, and concluded that we would stick to group membership.
Wol Euler: but we can certainly ask at the meeting next.
Wol Euler: there are a few people to whom that applies :-)
Adams Rubble: Yes, I requested one of mine be in the group for that reason
Wol Euler: ah, ok, then I'll add it to the list in the object right now.
Wol Euler: that needs to be manually updated, btw, there is no way to write a notecard from a script.
Adams Rubble: Well, I am sure whatever problems that may create are small by comparison
Wol Euler: none at all, really.
Adams Rubble: I am glad I mentioned it to you though
Wol Euler: there's nothing _new_ that arises because of it.
Adams Rubble: If it hadn't been for you sending me the landmark, Dubrovna might be here today :)
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Wol Euler: :-)
Wol Euler: always glad to help, Adams :-)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: It led to the dream, methinks
    Wol Euler nods
Adams Rubble: Well we managed to get a little PaB into the session :)
    Wol Euler: hehehehe
Wol Euler thinks: damn, foiled again.
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Wol Euler: shall we go next door? it#s nearly 8
Adams Rubble: Yup (the log is now closed). BLAM!
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Wol Euler: yay
PaB Listener Master: I've been touched by a PaB guardian.
Adams Rubble's PaB Listener: No longer recording. Have a nice day. :)
