I sat in an empty pavillion for a few minutes, then was joined by Susi. We wondered who the GoC was and I decided to take the log.

Wester Kiranov: hi susi

Susi Alcott: are you now the Goc cuz Fael is traveling ?
Wester Kiranov: No, I was just here to see if anyone else was going to show up :)
Susi Alcott: aha
Wester Kiranov: shall I claim the log? It's not going to be a big one I think
Susi Alcott: id you would pls
Susi Alcott: as I dont yet know enough how to be the Goc
Susi Alcott: maybe Fael thought that he can log in as he's got his laptop within
Wester Kiranov: If fael shows up later he can still claim the session
Susi Alcott: yes

We talked a bit more about how to be GoC

Wester Kiranov: what is it you still need to know to be able to be GoC?
Susi Alcott: well...almost all what comes to deliver the text foreward
Wester Kiranov: Do you know the PaB wiki?
Susi Alcott: I know that to be and read that sometimes
Susi Alcott: but even Fael said that it's needed to learn much to get the text there
Susi Alcott: sry I was again too quick with 'enter' button
Wester Kiranov: Under "Information" there are Guardian tutorials

Susi Alcott: already that word 'tutoria' is unknown term to me
Wester Kiranov: And if you click on the fountain and choose "claim", a link to the log gets sent to your e-mail

And as I forgot to say, it's a good thing to go to "Preferences" and make sure your logs get saved unto your computer as well, as a backup.

Wester Kiranov: you can basically cut& paste that one to the wiki, it just needs some comments
Susi Alcott: and to know how to send it to wiki...
Susi Alcott: (seems that Fael has connection probs, cuz he 'visited' online)
Wester Kiranov: get an account, log in, go to the right month, open new page, paste into new page, save.
Wester Kiranov: that's basically how to do it. But the tutorials (manuals?) are more explicit about the exact steps.
Susi Alcott: that is the lag I have in english

  I wanted to discuss our auras as well.

Wester Kiranov: I do still want to thank you for the aura generator. But it does make me invisible sometimes. Ever encountered that before?
Susi Alcott: hm
Susi Alcott: there is this lag in SL which has turned to be very common these days
Susi Alcott: that Avatar turnes to be the white cloud
Susi Alcott: could that be when you have thought that the aura would turn you to be invisible ?
Susi Alcott: asking cuz no other person has told that it would do that
Wester Kiranov: I don't think so. I can see my avatar, but other people stand right in front of me and ask "where are you?" if there was a cloud they would probably see that.
Wester Kiranov: and when I turn it off they can see me.
Susi Alcott: ah; but that lag also is SL lag....
Susi Alcott: sad them lags
Susi Alcott: but good that you found solution to that lag
Wester Kiranov: I'll just see if it happens again and keep you posted on it.

And we went on to a general discussion of bugs in SL and computers in general.

Susi Alcott: theres many such bad lags that takes something off
Susi Alcott: been also many such lags that the clothing is not to be seen even its' worn
Susi Alcott: and that's crated embarreing situations to some of persons I know
Susi Alcott: many are fixed by opening appearance and closing it doing nothing more
Susi Alcott: some are fixed by teleporting to other sim and return
Susi Alcott: but always they dont either work out but the relog
Susi Alcott: just thought how different things effects here in SL too
Susi Alcott: surprisingly

Susi Alcott: like one lag is known that this recording pushes big Avatars into the ground
Susi Alcott: if not sitting on the pillow
Wester Kiranov: I think I have seen that one
Susi Alcott: (been pushed into the ground but have felt that I cannot change my size for that)

Susi Alcott: my such friend who's also pc person; building pc's and brogramms
Susi Alcott: visited me last week end and told, that very soon there's gonna be huge much better pc systems
Susi Alcott: meaning many kind of lags that shall be over what's there still today
Wester Kiranov: and probably replaced by new improved lags ;)
Susi Alcott: well; not meaning so called fortune telling, but understanding the high tech
Susi Alcott: he had this tone in his voice that he knew
Susi Alcott: sadly we had not enough time that he would've explane that better

Susi Alcott: but he spoke something about that for few years ago
Susi Alcott: and those days he spoke about 5 years
Susi Alcott: as he's following all the new things to come true
Susi Alcott: so he kind of 'confirmed' what he told about three years ago

Susi Alcott: occured to my mind how my friend said that SL shall callaps when account No's mulitplied
Susi Alcott: that Lindens cannot deal with so many accounts
Susi Alcott: but I couldn't believe that
Susi Alcott: and here we still are :)
Susi Alcott: that was early 2007 that the huge change came
Susi Alcott: as that is not only business that makes ppl to work for improvments
Susi Alcott: I met once such person who said that nothing has changed for 3000 years
Susi Alcott: she surely ment human kind mind
Wester Kiranov: what did he mean by that?
Wester Kiranov: at the same time :)
Susi Alcott: (thinking so even she said no more)
Susi Alcott: but there's much within human mind that imo even shouldn't change
Susi Alcott: and that all concerns creativity
Susi Alcott: sadly that surely 'works out' also what comes to bad things
