    Riddle Sideways: Hi Adelene
    Adelene Dawner: hi :)
    Riddle Sideways: hello susi
    Susi Alcott: Hello Riddle
    Riddle Sideways: ah
    Susi Alcott: Hi Adelene
    Adelene Dawner: Good morning, Susi.
Riddle Sideways: sorry, excuse me, I haa small RL problem
    Riddle Sideways: ha
    Riddle Sideways: had
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Riddle Sideways: oh ear, my (letter between S an F is not working
    Adelene Dawner: :(
Riddle Sideways: have trie to replace these keyboard
    Riddle Sideways: works sometimes
Riddle Sideways: Ade, you are sparkling today
    Adelene Dawner nods.
    Adelene Dawner: New toy :)
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Riddle Sideways: you always havethe best toys:)
Adelene Dawner chuckles. "That happens, when you know how to code."
    Susi Alcott: smiles *
Riddle Sideways: sineday I will learn
    Riddle Sideways: *some
    Adelene Dawner: :)
Adelene Dawner: This'll be up for sale as soon as I've decided I'm done adding modes :)
Riddle Sideways: ah sometimes the ading features part of software
Riddle Sideways: goes on for years :)
    Adelene Dawner: hehe
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Adelene Dawner: I give myself a week or so, here. 'Till I run out of obvious ideas. :)
    Riddle Sideways: good approach
Susi Alcott: ah. ..could that happen ?
Adelene Dawner: (It already has 24 color modes and 5 particle modes, plus adjustable density and radius.)
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Adelene Dawner: Could waht happen, Susi?
Riddle Sideways: run out of ideass?
    Adelene Dawner: 'obvioius' ideas. :)
Susi Alcott: that U'de run out of ideas
Riddle Sideways thinks most PaB'ers don't every run out of obvious ideas
Adelene Dawner: Or 'till I hit 12 modes, since I don't want to have to add multiple mode selection screens :)
Susi Alcott: specially when living also in SL
Riddle Sideways: I got to read last sundays NY times magizine section
    Riddle Sideways: big story
Riddle Sideways: about an artist's avatar
Riddle Sideways: how average RL person
Riddle Sideways: day-job, art on weekends
Riddle Sideways: becomes famous, featured artist in SL
Riddle Sideways: THE person to have at partys
    Riddle Sideways: selling RL pictures
Riddle Sideways: can stop day job
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
    Riddle Sideways: open studio
Riddle Sideways: one of those once happens stories
Susi Alcott: so; average RL person ?
Riddle Sideways: that makes SL sound likeit happens all the time
Susi Alcott: thankfully that has happened too
Riddle Sideways: yes, average RL person
Susi Alcott: but know also such specially creative persons that has not sold anything of there gorgeous producitons
Riddle Sideways: in RL and/or SL?
Susi Alcott: also knowin one singing healer, who's performances alwasy gives true healing to people
    Susi Alcott: in SL
Adelene Dawner: I don't know about SL vs the rest of the internet, but the internet does make that kind of thing more likely - people with talent but no connections can still get their work out there where people can see it... word of mouth works better online than it does in traditional media.
Riddle Sideways: yes, networking seems more important
Susi Alcott: but still people dont 'help back' that he could quit the day time job and have good resting time too
Susi Alcott: thinking him specially because he worked so hard for people
Susi Alcott: that he nearly burned down himself
Susi Alcott: as he was asked to all possible kind of feasts
Susi Alcott: and sadly it's limited how many people can be on sim at the same time
Susi Alcott: so that's SL limit
Susi Alcott: but what he gives ; that is pirceless
Susi Alcott: so; all needed good do not take place via SL either
    Susi Alcott: but thankfully some
    Riddle Sideways: true
Susi Alcott: been often thinking that it's simply cuz so many people still takes that good perople have all what they need
Susi Alcott: like all would dropp from 'heavens' to them
Riddle Sideways: and half of it does
Susi Alcott: ah yes; through themselves
Riddle Sideways: we put ourselves in a digital reality
Susi Alcott: thinking also Adelenes genious mind to create things
Susi Alcott: and wishing to You Ade too that you would been 'helped back'
Riddle Sideways: the glass is half ones or half zeros
Adelene Dawner has it under control though - when she wants to do stuff, she does, and when she doesn't, she doesn't - feeling free to say 'no' is the bext way of avoiding burnout :)
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_ to that
Riddle Sideways: thank you, I need to remember that
    Adelene Dawner: ^.^
    Riddle Sideways: both, squee andade
    Adelene Dawner: hehe
    Susi Alcott: ah yes :)
Adelene Dawner: (for the log: Squee: What gets us into trouble is not what we don't know, it's what we know for sure that just ain't so.)
Susi Alcott: thinking also that man who invented the hulahula-toy on 50s
Susi Alcott: and earned his lifetime needs and more with that
Riddle Sideways: wonder if that man gotrewarded
Susi Alcott: what comes to economic
Susi Alcott: he was payed to try to find an other same kind idea
    Adelene Dawner: Hiya, Pem :)
Riddle Sideways: yet, I think Ade, that you get the pleasure of programming
Susi Alcott: and he had at least tens of years good life
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Pema
    Susi Alcott: Hi Pema
Adelene Dawner: Yes, I definitely enjoy programming.
    Riddle Sideways: wow, Pema summersaults
Pema Pera: Hi Susi, Adelene, Rubble!
Susi Alcott: but I have not heared about him for many whiles now; so I dont know 'the rest'
Adelene Dawner: And most of the time when I'm making something I enjoy the act of making it, programming or no. :)
Susi Alcott: and that is what would be good for all of the people
Susi Alcott: to be abel to enjoy of 'job' and 'work'
Riddle Sideways: would be interesting to do follow-up story on the guy that made the hulahoop
Riddle Sideways: where is he now
Susi Alcott: yes; not having any latest news
Riddle Sideways: the enjoyment of making things
Susi Alcott: but that much of his following years, that his invention didn't bring anything bad to him
Riddle Sideways: is usually a continual thing
Susi Alcott: as it's sometimes happened that too much 'help back' has changed the person and ones attitude to life
Riddle Sideways: probably not need a big return on investment
Riddle Sideways: a lot of little pleasures vs one big one after pain
Susi Alcott: ah yes; it's just that what is big to one, may be small to an other
Riddle Sideways: yes, who is to say (for another)
Riddle Sideways: This week I got totravel
Riddle Sideways: I visite some different ingidinous peoples
    Susi Alcott: wonderfull news
    Riddle Sideways: appreciated there differences
Riddle Sideways: I visited a culture that relies on newpaper a lot
Riddle Sideways: and it has no funnies /cartoons
Susi Alcott: btw; this my friend Buffalo I've told ; as this aura generator's creator; he's also native person
Riddle Sideways: the sports section is buried behind "business"
    Pema Pera: (Manhattan???)
Riddle Sideways: the front page (bad new) is toted as the best
    Riddle Sideways: yes, NY Times
    Pema Pera: (New York Times??)
Pema Pera: ah yes, I began to wonder :)
Riddle Sideways: true, the arts are big in that paper
Pema Pera: and they have an "escape" section on Fridays :-)
Riddle Sideways: I think those people are very serious
Pema Pera: dress in black mostly
    Riddle Sideways: yes
    Riddle Sideways: cold too
Pema Pera: but they commune! in subways
Pema Pera: no distinctions, all huddles together
Riddle Sideways: they hong their hornsa lot
Pema Pera: but don't lock horns
Riddle Sideways: some do on the hiway
Pema Pera: the subway culture is quite civilized
    Riddle Sideways: really?
Pema Pera: no highways in Manhattan
Riddle Sideways: 8 lanes of parking lot
Pema Pera: I'd say so -- a big difference between LA and NY is that in NY you cannot avoid being crowded in a subway with people of very different cultures and race
Pema Pera: whereas in LA you are in yuor own car, your own fort
Pema Pera: makes for different race relations, I think
Riddle Sideways: those little things make for very different culture
Pema Pera: people helping the elderly get in, or mothers with young babies
    Pema Pera: across race/culture lines
Susi Alcott: in case one stays only with that :)
Pema Pera: makes a big difference
Riddle Sideways: like that movie said: "they must Love each other so much, for so many to live together so close"
Riddle Sideways: [or sometihing like that]
    Pema Pera: :-)
Riddle Sideways: then I went to a place not so crowded
Riddle Sideways: some people go a long time without talking to others
Riddle Sideways: when they do get your ear
Riddle Sideways: they bend it for a long time
    Pema Pera: :)
Riddle Sideways: due to a dead laptop battery
Riddle Sideways: I got to people watch in waiting areas several times
Riddle Sideways: large groups of people waiting for the same event
Riddle Sideways: some had to go reread the same sign over and over
Riddle Sideways: some just read a book
Riddle Sideways: some called others to report that they were bored
    Pema Pera: :)
    Susi Alcott: :)
Susi Alcott: ah yes; some people have 'skill' to wait; some dont
    Pema Pera: yes
Riddle Sideways: after waiting around in those little areas
Riddle Sideways: they would pair me up with the most interesting person
Riddle Sideways: and we would go sit together for a couple hours
Riddle Sideways: at first they would not talk
Pema Pera now beginning to wonder what the beginning of this story was . . . . .
Susi Alcott: maybe to observe people :)
Riddle Sideways: ah, some stories have no beginings
Riddle Sideways: probably no end either
Pema Pera: "they would pair me up"?
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
Pema Pera: did they also have black clothes, or white ones perhaps? :-)
Riddle Sideways: some planes had us in threes, but mostly pairs on those little ones
    Pema Pera: ah, planes!
    Pema Pera: the plane truth
Riddle Sideways: not sure about Truth :)
Pema Pera: I was still in Manhattan :-)
    Pema Pera: train stations
    Riddle Sideways: I was not
    Pema Pera: :)
Riddle Sideways: I went to visit MANY different peoples
Adelene Dawner is really not following this conversation, so will get back to her scripting. See you next time, all.
    Pema Pera: bye Adelene!
    Riddle Sideways: bye Ade
    Susi Alcott: bye Ade
Pema Pera: the conversation is following Riddle, it seems, on his trips
Riddle Sideways: sorry, sometimes I don'tfollow myself either
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
    Pema Pera: oh np!
Susi Alcott: well; followed ur traveling
    Riddle Sideways: TY
Susi Alcott: thank you for sharing
Pema Pera: that's how you can lose yourself in a story :-)
    Pema Pera: not following yourself
    Susi Alcott: yes
    Riddle Sideways: lostin a story
Susi Alcott: specially when story is interesting
Pema Pera: I enjoy hearing your perspectives
Pema Pera: reminds me of the Little Prince visiting the Earth
Riddle Sideways: what story is not interesting?
    Riddle Sideways loves that story
Susi Alcott: such in which nothing happenes
Susi Alcott: not even giving a sound of silence
Susi Alcott: some people 'make' such stories too
Riddle Sideways: it is too easy to visit a place and say "same ol thing"
Riddle Sideways: so easy to live life as 'same of day'
    Susi Alcott: hm
    Pema Pera: yes
    Susi Alcott: is it ?
Riddle Sideways: harder, but special to find the specialness of the day
Pema Pera: that's why "stopping" is so important
Riddle Sideways: yes, say every 15 min
    Riddle Sideways: stop and ask
    Pema Pera: new perspective
    Susi Alcott: (thinking hardly now)
Pema Pera: it is and it isn't Susi, is that what you meant?
Susi Alcott: well...wouldn't mind to experience that something would be 'just the old' ...
Susi Alcott: that's why I asked that could that truely be easy.....
Pema Pera: it's easy to ignore what is new about it . . . .
Pema Pera: to fall into a pattern . . . even a pattern of constant change
Susi Alcott: ...well...that I ment...as I'm not capabul to do so...
Susi Alcott: but such could bring me more peace...imo...
Pema Pera: I guess we all have patterns we fall into, I certainly have . . .
Susi Alcott: ah..thinking I still couldn't apressiate such....
Pema Pera: and stopping helps to see those patterns
Pema Pera: How about you, Susi, don't you feel you fall into old patterns?
    Susi Alcott: ah truely not
Riddle Sideways: (sarcisically) "oh dear, another day of constant changes" :)
Susi Alcott: thinking there's never been a same kind of day in my whole life....
Susi Alcott: but with one similarity; them changes 'all the time'
Susi Alcott: and yes; that can also be boring now and then
Riddle Sideways: that is the part we like about you
    Susi Alcott: ?
Pema Pera: but patterns don't require sameness -- you can continue the same patterns without realizing that you do, across every changing situations . . . .
    Pema Pera: ?
Susi Alcott: well..as my 'pattern' as I know it, is chaos....
Susi Alcott: maybe there 'too many patterns' then to see....
Susi Alcott: well; many peopl have asked me "Who are you" that I have not been able to give the answer
    Susi Alcott: ah
Pema Pera: I find that when I stop, and the more so the more I really stop, some patterns are showing themselves more clearly, sometimes painfully so, sometimes cheerfully so, and I am always grateful to find ways to see those -- not to suppress them, but to accept them and to live with them more lightly
Susi Alcott: sadly we shall be ejected
Pema Pera: balance is always such a challenge
Riddle Sideways: I nedd to go anyway
Susi Alcott: maybe I went through all of me when I went through all of me and noticed that I am chaos
Susi Alcott: ah ...well...many people take chaos to be something bad
Riddle Sideways: oooo I like that line
Susi Alcott: to me that is just to be
Susi Alcott: well; to know myself gives me the peace inside I think
Susi Alcott: was wonderfull to meet you again *
Pema Pera: then the challenge must be to be completely chaos, Susi, not to let any pattern remain -- that must be very difficult
    Pema Pera: bye Riddle!
Susi Alcott: or just to be what I am :)***
Pema Pera: now that is the most difficult
    Susi Alcott: hm...
Pema Pera: since we tend to see an image of ourselves . . . .
    Riddle Sideways: hmmmm
Pema Pera: and each time we say: yes, that is what I am !!!!
Susi Alcott: maybe I have not had any other options to chooce :)**
Pema Pera: and each time more subtle and more subtle . . . .
Susi Alcott: hoping we can continue about this more 'one day'
    Pema Pera: sure :-)
Riddle Sideways: yes, need to continue this.
Susi Alcott: dont like the feeling to be ejected *
    Susi Alcott: see yo
    Riddle Sideways: no
    Susi Alcott: _/!\_
    Pema Pera: bye everybody!
    Riddle Sideways: bye
Pema Pera: I'll stay here :-)
