It should be noted that today is the last 'single digit date' (9-9-9) most of us will see, though I didn't think to bring that up in this simple session where Yakuzza, Arch, Solo (for a moment there), and I talked a little about our colds, the economy, mosquitos, age, and onigokko. :)

Eliza Madrigal: For me it seems to come with the school year, and when I was working in the school I lived off of vitamin c packets

Eliza Madrigal: I've been noticing how such a little thing, like not breathing clearly, affects the overall patience level with other things, too...

Archmage Atlantis: SW Fl right by the Everglades isn't a smart place to do that
Eliza Madrigal: No it isn't... though I'm not sure there are conventient places to fall and be captive

Yakuzza Lethecus: the problem is that i have no clue if things were better at any time in the past
Eliza Madrigal: :) they were better in some ways worse in others... I'd guess :)
Eliza Madrigal: I try not to look at the paperwork too often... I think people who watch their investments every day must have a very difficult time
Archmage Atlantis: The way I see it is yes "tihngs were better, in the US anyway, economically" ...but people they just don't change a lot
Eliza Madrigal: Arch, but a lot of that was illusion... the prosperity
Eliza Madrigal: In Florida especially... biggering biggering biggering...

Eliza Madrigal: Well, my thing is... I'd like to see our communities become less wasteful...
Eliza Madrigal: and less judgemental ... maybe so many having faced difficulties

Yakuzza Lethecus: very interesting for me is for example the asset-liability mismatch in the states right now
Archmage Atlantis: Even if the US became a totally green environment, the deforestation of the Amazon and the industrial of China are having bigger environmental effects
Yakuzza Lethecus: and the dollar became so cheap
Archmage Atlantis: The US was imitating Germany before the 2 World Wars
Archmage Atlantis: Still are
Eliza Madrigal: I like to stay closer to home than that... I'll fully admit that I tried to make the most of the housing market... bought a foreclosed house to fix up... saw the value rise exponentially... intending to sell...
Eliza Madrigal: then circumstances delayed the sale and ... ack. :)
